Game day! The reason that they were all here! Dolf was thrilled to see his team enter the pitch, flying around and showing off. They deserved to be flashy; from what he'd seen in the past, they had the skills to back it up. As he shuffled past seated spectators, Dolf cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted at the team. "Durmstrang! боритесь! выигрывайте!" Fight! Win! Though he didn't have any flags or signs to wave, Dolf was dressed in his school uniform as a show of support, wearing their colors proudly. Being a spectator was exhilarating — he could hardly imagine how it felt to play the game.

Dolf hopped down a few stairs and slid into a row of seats, walking down the aisle until he was at an empty place next to Maksim (@Ami Procoppio) . He nodded a greeting to the other boy and inclined his head towards the seat. "Can I join you?" he asked in Russian. Dolf sat down without waiting for an answer, only to get back on his feet when Slava (@Ruby Cazares) appeared on the pitch. He let out a raucous cheer for Maksim's brother. It was good to Slava out there on a broom; it gave Dolf some personal stake in the game, someone specific to root for. He wasn't the greatest of friends with the younger boy, but he thought that they got on well enough. Dolf pumped his fist in the air and shouted a few more times for good measure before falling back to his seat.

"They look good." Dolf glanced at Maksim, figuring that he must have shared a pre-game pep talk with his brother. "How's he feeling about the game?" There was a lot of pressure on this game with the whole school's reputation at stake. It was a friendly competition by name, but that didn't mean that Dolf would take a loss. He wanted to leave London with the Durmstrang team on the school's shoulders and a trophy in their hands. Did they get a trophy? He hadn't actually thought about that before. It would be a nice touch.

"How are you feeling about the game?" Dolf added, raising an eyebrow. Maksim may not have been on the team, but there was a chance that he'd take any loss hard on Slava's behalf. Dolf hoped that his questions weren't getting too personal. It was easy to forget that he didn't know Maksim that well. He might have been Dolf's best friend at school, but he was also Dolf's only friend at school, if that term even applied. If this trip went well, they might get closer, and Dolf wouldn't have to feel quite as awkward around Maksim. Until then — well, he thought he was doing a fine job of covering it up. He'd just keep the questions coming until the game seized all of their attention.

Mentions: Hufflepuff Quidditch Team, specifically Willow Anderson and Jack Warren.
Quidditch was not really something Hjørdis enjoyed, or even really understood. She had spent a few weeks covering for the unfilled role of flying professor and she hated it. This was not a sport she grew up with, nor did she have any real inclinations to try and understand it. It seemed... unnecessarily violent. She was not entirely sure why she even agreed to coming and watching the game. It would have been a lot easier just to stay back in the tent, take a nap or read a book. But all of the students were very excited. So many schools had come together for the occasion and Hufflepuff seemed so excited. As such, she decided to make an effort. At least, with her clothing.

She pulled on the sleeves of her black jacket. It was a baggy varsity style jacket that she had added some embroidery patches onto. There was a small badger head on the bottom right side of the jacket, a little person with wings on the opposite left side and a loop de loop style letter up on the top left. Gold shoulders and rims had been added onto the pockets. She wore the jacket over a simple long sleeved black dress, with the added gold rims as a belt and on the hem of the dress, pairing it with a pair of gold and black shoes.

Although it was approaching sunset, the weather was still a little warm - much to her dismay. She would likely have to remove the jacket, fold up the sleeves of her dress or hit herself with a cooling charm if it did not start to cool down further soon. It was much better than morning, of course, but not great for her outfit. Hjørdis sighed, perching herself against some railings that she stood by. She had found herself a quiet area, away from most of the hoards of students. After spending a full two weeks at camp, surrounded by hyperactive children, she needed a break from their many questions and overly enthusiastic personalities. It was endearing at times but... it was also exhausting. Silence was severely underrated it would seem.

She was early, it seemed. Admittedly, she had tried to arrive late - not actually intending on watching the game. But it seemed her punctuality got the better of her. Even though she had no interest in the game, she was there before it ended started. Well then... She had accepted her fate of looking like a keen bean.

Her attention turned to the stadium as the Hogwarts champions emerged, flying into the sky. Silvery eyes searched the faces of each of the players, making a note of who she knew. There were a few very familiar faces among them. Not that they would see her but she was there, watching them and silently supporting them. Miss Anderson's nervousness was not something she could forget easily. Although she did not say anything, she silently wished that the girl's biggest fears did not come true. Hopefully Willow would feel more confident and better after a good game. The rest of the team were a mix of nervous and excited!

Hjørdis could not help but laugh softly as she saw the rather fancy moves of one Jack Warren. Of course. She was not even mildly surprised after his ballet performance. At the very least, it looked like they were having fun already. That was enough.

"In the summer time..." Caradoc entered the stands with a wide grin on his face. Somewhere across the stadium, there had to be a guy that got blinded by the sun hitting his bright smile. "...when the weather is hot." The Head of Hufflepuff continued to sing his happy lyrics as he made his way through a sea of people. In a normal situation, his shirt would have alerted anyone of his position. But today was something special. There was quite a large group dressed in black and yellow today, given that they came to support the Hufflepuff team perform against Durmstrang.

"You can stretch right up..." He found a vendor with a few drinks to sell. Getting himself a soda to face the hot weather, he gave the poor vendor a bit of extra change. Couldn't have been fun to stand in the sun all day and not get a drink yourself. "...and touch the sky." He turned away from the man and started walking further down the stands. He knew there was a box for the professors somewhere, he just had to find it. Squinting his eyes behind his sunglasses, he eventually located the actual professor box. "When the weather's fine..." His eyes scanned the heads in the crowd to see who had already decided to show up. He saw a few students he recognised and a few from Durmstrang even he had seen over the past two weeks. Eventually his eyes locked on a particularly pretty head of silvery hair. "...you got women on your mind."

Having locked on target, it now took the badger just a few moments to catch up to her location. With a overly dramatic sigh, he plopped himself down next to her. "Professor Jensen. How nice of you to join me." A faint smirk played on his lips as he turned his head to face the players. "Now... I guess I should watch this... game..."

If you're reading this... You're awesome.

After having dealt with the trivial accusations of others upon his appearance at the game within the stands, he understood that maybe his presence wasn't the best in the area. No others were noticed from the previous interactions he had conducted, the weird girl having been shoo'd away and Adonis having been watched to go visit what Zykeal would assume to be the guys crush in Kat. Random thought of that they made a cute couple processed through his rattled mind.

Shutting that charms book that laid within his forearm, he stowed his wand within his waistband and shifted his position to collect his belongings before he would stand at one of the topmost stands of the stadium that he was occupying at the time being. Wishing he had his hoodie at the moment to disguise himself, he relented in pushing his way through the crowded stands area towards the staircase that lead to the exit where he could safely escape back towards his tent.

Lizzie was noticed for just a moment, but why would he bother paying attention, she had just broken up with him, despite her obvious appearance there in her lonesome, he couldn't be bothered to deal with the situation any longer. If they were to maintain any type of friendship, it wouldn't be now, not so soon. With this thought in mind, he held his charms book in front of his shirt and shifted his way down the stands, heading out of the quidditch arena and off back to his tent.

Paisley watched as the girl reached into the bag, offering her a small smile as she popped some pieces into her mouth. The Bellweather girl’s gaze returned forward, watching as the players lined up to begin the match. She reached over and grabbed her soda, taking a long sip before a boy looking to be about the girl next to her’s age squatted down in front of them. From that moment, it seemed like everyone had disappeared from his and Katrina’s attention besides the two. While young, she was no idiot. She knew a look like that. Hell, it was a look that her parents still gave each other. Obviously the pair liked each other, the boy seeming more outgoing while Katrina was shier. It reminded her, again, of her parents. They’d be a good pair, she thought absently.

Standing up, she brushed any popcorn off of her before retreating back to her spot down next the end of the bench. She’d remain close so she could retrieve her headphones at the end of the match, but now that the other girl clearly had others there to support her, there was no need for Paisley’s presence. Besides, she didn’t want to be a third wheel anyways.

@Erin Ryan @Opeila Seilun

“Huh? Play?” The little girl was persistent in continuing the conversation. “Oh, no. I’m not on the team. Pick up game every now and then. Not really a team player kinda guy.” He answered without making eye contact. Howard’s antisocial ways were slacking. Time to kick it up a notch. “Howard...” The boy replied, his tone making it clear that the conversation was forced.

However, Erin Ryan would appear to save the day. Howard tried to warn Opeila, but she would not heed it. PLOP The teenaged Dhampir couldn’t help but laugh. Erin was many things but a liar was not one of them, she always meant her threats. “Told ya!” He said between chuckles as he snatched the warm butter beer from Erin’s hand.

Yuck. Nothing worse than a hot beer on an even hotter evening. Of course Erin was too dumb or crazy to mind as she made her jab. “I wouldn’t know...” He replied to the comment of warm people, hands raised in the air in mock innocence. Leaning in he would whisper, “Blood and beer ain’t the same thing ya doink.” The last said as he flicked her forehead. “Plus she’s much too small. Drain her like that.” He snapped his fingers.“Yeah, Erin! They are playing Durmstrang. Do you ever pay attention? We’ll see if the Puffs got what it takes.” Howard couldn’t care less about the outcome. No house pride for this Hufflepuff.

The beer in this state was undrinkable, like bubbly bath water. Howard would ask Opeila for assistance as she squirmed under the weight, her payment, freedom from Erin’s rear end. “C’mon, let her up. This beer is gross and I can’t do the spell.” Hmm, pleading with Erin probably wouldn’t work. Howard slid down the row and tapped a nameless boy on the shoulder before reaching into his pocket. With a flick of his thumb, he launched a sickle at him. “Go buy yourself somethin’ kid. We need the seat, now scram.” Howard said the last as he lifted up the boy by the scruff of his clothing. After he scurried off, Howard turned back to the pair. “Look. Room for us all. Cold beer please.”

The young witch now realized her tendency for tunnel vision. Had she always been like this or was it a side effect of the recent anxieties plaguing her? Whatever it was, Calanthe could not believe that she had not seen the girl sitting next to Sylvia, even with the beautiful owl perched on her shoulder. In awe of the animal and disappointed that her father had not mentioned how paramount familiars were going to be at Hogwarts, Calanthe had no time to stop the pale girl from vacating herself from the seat that she coveted. Sure, she would have been more comfortable next to Sylvia as he was the only person she knew here, but having someone move for her peace of mind absolutely did not settle her mind peacefully.

Sylvia’s original companion offered a solution to sit behind the trio, but Calanthe knew she would not lean in to have a conversation with them. Somehow, it felt like an intrusion and it took more effort than she was willing to put in to be social for the time being. About to usher the girl back into her seat, Calanthe caught sight of her kind smile and complied, taking the spot next to Sylvia. About to launch intro conversation with the boy, she stopped herself and smiled slightly towards the girl, muttering a thanks and complimenting her pretty owl. Is this what it’s like when you’re nice to people and people are nice to you? She was not sure she liked the fuzzy feeling but it was better than simmering in hate for ten months.

At Sylvia – no, Sylvain’s – correction of his name, Calanthe wondered what kind of person she was to mishear a person’s name. Though, Sylvain had made no effort to correct her during their potions class so she did not dwell on the matter for too long. But would he have had the courage to correct his name if I hadn’t been such a b-word? In fact, Calanthe had such vivid memories of being less-than-pleasant during their lab session and she was confused as to how Sylvain was readily treating her like some sort of positive acquaintance. Maybe he was just too focused on the game going on to recall her behavior? That, or he’s just a nice, forgiving person.

A rulebook was plopped into her hands and she was given a rudimentary understanding of the roles each player fulfilled on the pitch. Still, she was confused. Why did she hear people mentioning balls in the plural? Shouldn’t a game be played with one ball? Why were there three hoops? Surely that made things a lot easier for the… chasers, was it? Though, they did need all the help they could get, being up in the air and all. She tried rifling through the rulebook for answers but perhaps this was not the best time to be doing so.

The response of the boy next to Sylvain caught Calanthe’s ears, making her chuckle. Biting back the urge to call him a nerd – that’s not nice, apparently – she responded, “You’ve still got more data than me… sorry… I don’t… your name-.” As if coming to her rescue, another girl approached the group, addressing the boy as Flash. Nodding at having a name to the face as well as the name of the new girl, Bridget as told by Sylvain, Calanthe realized she had not even introduced herself to Flash or the girl that graciously gave up her seat. Waiting for a lull in the conversation that came after Sylvain’s friendly tirade – how to be that outgoing? – she smiled again at Sylvain’s friends. She did hope that her smile seemed comfortable, even though she definitely was not, surrounded by more people than she had anticipated. But they didn’t need to know that. She needed to get out of that tent and what a better time than now to throw herself into the flames?

“I’m Calanthe, by the way,” she spoke for anyone who was willing to listen. “And… I’ve never been to a professional Quidditch match… uhm… Bridget. I’ve never really been to any Quidditch match.” Unsure of if she was obligated to continue, Calanthe was startled as Sylvain turned his attention back to her. She was sure he was long gone with Flash and Bridget entering the conversation, likely a much more cordial duo that she would ever be. “The… snitch? What’s that?” she looked back down to the rulebook and up at Sylvain with a confused expression. Maybe if you had been paying attention in flying class, you would know these things. “The seeker? Oh, okay that’s the person that catches the snitch… which is…? You know… never mind. Maybe, I’ll just be able to pick up on these things when the game starts… Has it started yet? I can’t tell.”

Hazel-brown eyes scanned the sky ahead of him. Familiar faces of his fellow Durmstrang students were getting in position. A smirk played on his lips, knowing that they would win. If the beaters did not knock everyone out in the first five minutes, he would be seriously disappointed in them. He could have done it easily. If only they let him onto the team.

The voice of someone greeting him caught his attention. His gaze tore away from the sky to the seat beside him, landing on a vaguely familiar looking student. Another Durmstrang one, if he recalled correctly but... for the life of him, he could not give any further details. Maybe it was something he had beaten up once. Who knew? "Yo," He responded. The other boy seemed to match the attitude of not giving a shit, which was something Arjan could appreciate, "Fine day for Durmstrang to dominate, am I right?" He added, simply because he liked the sound of his own voice.

A faint 'excuse you' ran through the air, reaching his ears. A girl's voice [DYMPHNA]. It did not phrase him in the slightest. He did not even acknowledge it. Perhaps they were talking to him, perhaps they were talking to someone else... he did not care. Whoever it was, they were excused because he was unresponsive to it.

Another voice piped up [AMADEA]. Timidly asking someone to move. Arjan raised his left hand, scratching the side of his neck and just continued to watch the game. Tilting his head side to side, he stretched it as he slumped further into the seat, propping his feet up on the chair in front of him - not even bothering to check if someone was sitting on it. If there was something there, they would likely have his shoe near their head.

The girl sitting next to him managed to catch his attention. Glancing to her [NICO], he quirked an eyebrow as he took in her look. Red hair, bright blue eyes, kind of pretty... Except... Her outfit was... Well... It was very... yellow. And she was rather loud and... Had a boyfriend in Hogwarts, judging by the obnoxiously loud yellow banner of hers. Did she also just say 'Serena'? Arjan rolled his eyes. Of course, she was a Hogwarts student. One of Serena's friends, perhaps? Though the idea that the small sibling had friends was kind of laughable to him. He fake snorted, "Isn't that the problem? Game hasn't started and look at that pathetic girl. She looks terrified and I'm pretty sure she's going to puke on someone in a minute... She's going to die out there, she knows that," He replied with a shrug as he pointed towards Serena. He was pretty sure she had zero skill in the game, "I don't even know why you guys gave her a spot. She must be the worst player in the school. I guess y'all really pitied the pathetic thing." He added, fully expecting her to die in a moment. What position was she even playing?

The trio of 'sad' little girls behind him seemed dead set on getting the handsome boy's attention. He rolled his eyes as a piece of popcorn flew past him, some hitting the back of his head. Turning around, they finally had his attention. His eyes landed on three Hogwarts students [DYMPHNA, AMADEA AND ELSPETH]. Narrowing his eyes at Dymphna, he paused for a second. She looked... familiar. There was something familiar about her rather pretty - and definitely annoyed - look. He felt like he had seen that very look before. The other two were a mystery, "Alright ladies, I can see you wanted my attention desperately. Well now you have it. Though... you know, you could have just said hi? I'd still have graced three beautiful ladies such as yourselves with my presence," He replied with a shrug, wondering what the need was to throw popcorn and waste good food.

"Since you seem dead set on giving me your popcorn, though, I'll happily oblige," He added, grabbing the popcorn bucket. If they were not quick, he would grab it from them and turn back around, starting to eat the popcorn. If they managed to hold onto it, he would not let go. It would likely end up in a bit of a tug, potentially end up ripping. He had no issues with that, it was not even his. Besides... it was far better to just take their popcorn than to punch them in the face for trying to ruin his beautiful hair. This was actually him being nice for once.

It was clear that Arjan had absolutely zero idea why they were glaring at him or attempting to get his attention. It must have just been because he was beautiful. Understandable but irritating.

Hjørdis pushed herself off the railings and grabbed the seat behind where she stood as a familiar voice reached her ears. She dropped her handbag on the empty chair next to her. Her hand ran through her loose hair, pulling it to over her shoulder to one side. Fighting back the urge to roll her eyes, "Browne," She greeted in response with narrowed eyes that basically told him to stop smirking before she wiped it off his face, "I like your face paint. You should do it more often..." She added, reminding him of it. The Slytherin did not bother with the 'professor' title for once, since there were no students in a close enough distance to hear them.

Her eyes flickered to his very yellow t-shirt. It was very fitting for the occasion, she had to be admit. It was her turn to smirk as he continued to speak, "Wow, control your enthusiasm, please. It's overwhelming," She teased in the most monotonous tone she could manage as a response to his very bland reaction to the game. This was perhaps the first time she had heard him not be overly excited and irritatingly energetic about something - especially something related to his badgers. There was no doubt in her mind that he was only here because his own house was the Hogwarts Champions.

Turning her attention to the skies, watching the students fly around the pitch. Her eyes scanned the Durmstrang team. She recognised a few of their faces from the recent summer camp events, with a few of the players visiting the Hogwarts events. Picking up her drink, she took a sip as she watched both teams getting into position - well... what she thought was their starting positions. Quidditch really was not her forte. But she was pleased that her fellow head of house seemed just as unenthusiastic about it. For once, she was not the only one who seemed uninterested in the topic at hand. The smirk still tugging on her lips as her eyes flickered to catch his expression from the corner of her eyes, "Whilst you're watching - oh so carefully, of course - mind explaining it?" She asked, wondering if he actually knew more about the game than she did.

Hjørdis had done a little research into it and got a general gist simply because she had to teach flying. She stopped as soon as she learned that she could teach the flying lessons without knowing anything about Quidditch. But Caradoc actually attended Hogwarts. He ought to be far more knowledgeable on the subject. So far, she had seen two games in her life. They were back in December. Due to Lear's absence, she had somehow ended up overseeing the games in his place.

"So... Do you have any idea who plays what position, Cheer Mum?" She asked, staring at the various players in the sky, making a slight dig at the t-shirt. How was anyone supposed to know who was meant to do what? Well... the Keeper seemed a little obvious, with the ridiculous amount of guards and the fact that they were by the hoops. But the rest? Nope. She had no idea. On inspection, though, it did look like a few players had a bat. Right... This was definitely a violent game. Settling back into her chair, she waited for the game to actually start.

The boy didn't seem to care about her questioning or her insult. Seriously? He thought Quidditch was boring, which was possibly the wrongest opinion in the history of wrong opinions. And when confronted about it he just said shoo?

Phyllis wanted to say a looootttt more to this kid, but for once, the stubborn girl decided it wasn't worth it. The players were flying out, their pre-game laps nearly finished, and any second now the match would start. The cow turd in front of her definitely wasn't worth missing the game. With one last roll of her eyes to solidify her dislike of the boy and his very, very not okay tee shirt, she stomped off back to her seat. He was leaving anyways. So maybe she had got her point across: what was he even doing here if he found the game boring?

Picking up her poster, she climbed up so she was standing on her seat. The people behind her would probably be annoyed by her blocking their view, but Phyllis just was not the most considerate person. When the game started, she would finally sit, but for now she had to do everything she could to maybe, just maybe, make it so Ella and Greta could see her sign.
