Thorn and The Rose
Aurelia rarely had nightmares nor dreams for that matter. Most of her dreams faded from her memories and out of existence when she awoke back into reality of her consciousness. However, her slumber which was interrupted by the shaking of an unfortunate boy who had been slapped right across the face, proved otherwise. For a long time, Aurelia had her first nightmare. A chaotic one, something about dhampirs, a dead brother, a betrothal and her parents. But a few seconds into her consciousness, her terrible dream already seemed to be fading away. All that was left of the eminent horror she just escaped from was the racing of her heartbeat and heavy breathing.
"I am so, so sorry," turning to the boy whom had reeled her out of her nightmare, she had apologised. It was apparent that through her unconsciousness, she had unintentionally hit the Slytherin across his face.
The day had been chaotic for sure, but now that every resident in the tent --except for Aurelia and Adonis-- was asleep, it was peaceful, no more raised voices, threats and ongoing discord. Only the with the serene singing of the crickets outside and breathing of the children deep in slumber. However, calm Aurelia was not. The monster hunter's senses were high on alert, adrenaline pumping through in her veins, evidence that the girl had not yet recovered from her nightmare.
"I am going to take a walk," She told Adonis. How late it was, Aurelia could only guess. Perhaps about 4 in the morning? Perhaps she could bring some company. Retrieving her pet, Aspen, the massive great horned owl from her cage, Aurelia extended her gloved hand for her to perch comfortable atop of. The lovely creature then lighted her wand up with a charm before making her way out towards the exit as silently as possible. If Adonis were keen enough to notice, he would see the nasty dhampir bite scar on her neck, partially obscured by the curtain of brunette hair.
