Opeila had mixed feelings about this day. It was not like it was a bad day, but not a good day either. One of those days where she was very aware that she would go home in a month. One of those days where she once more had the feeling that she was watched. That she had interfered too much. But Opeila had grown tired of being scared, so she had just pushed it into a corner at the back of her thoughts. She had still no owl from Vladimir regarding her tent and with more days passing, she had stopped to expect one. Of course, why should he answer? Opeila had been one of his attackers.

The first year was glad that the weekend was to come. She loved Hogwarts, but she couldn't wait for a break of all the information that was thrown at them. Opeila felt like her head was full to the top and she had stopped days ago to actively participate in the lessons. She took notes to read through them when she found time and the motivation to do so, but that was by now barely the case.

On the great stairs she slowed down. The Great Hall was slowly filling for dinner, she could hear the noise, but she was not entirely sure if she wanted to join it just yet. Maybe she should just get some food out and go to the lake. Or maybe just... Not eat dinner at all.
No, that was no option. Opeila had missed to many meals lately, she couldn't have those unhealthy gaps again.

The last time she had let her self become sick because of a lack of sleep and food, it had resulted in someone she had considered a friend leaving her.
She would not have any more risks. Still she stood in the middle of the stairs, unsure what to do.

He was really running himself dry of energy lately. To say it was his choice was just like reminding himself day and day that he was incapable of having emotions- as angsty as it sounded. Saying a desired sentence over and over again, only to provide him a mere thin spread to cover the real undesirable truth. The truth that Opeila Stinky Seilun was really getting on his nerves. If they were to meet again, he was sure she would’ve been an interesting one to have fun with. Hana had met many sharp-tongued people that - once he had nudged them just a bit- is able to provide endless entertainment for the Japanese boy. Those people, he had always welcomed into his outer circle for the joy they sent to him every time they attempt at bringing him red of embarrassment.

However, this Stinky Seilun was an exception. She was Percival Rainwoods newly appointed Stinky Girlfriend.

Now, there was no doubt that he had bitter feelings to people who chose to intertwine their fates and establish a loving relationship. His parents were a far fetch from that. His grandmother, although clearly loves her husband even after he passed,he had died before Hanako could ever witness what a relationship was supposed to be. Growing up with a lack of it only fueled his envy for those who do have it. It was odd however, that Opeila Stinky Seilun- an interesting individual, could make him so distracted that he wasn’t sleeping well once again. Before, he had only dismissed it and ignore newly coupled couples. But now, there was a surge of dissatisfaction flowing through his mind every time he thought of the new couple of Hogwarts; Percival Rainwood and Stinky Seilun.

Was it because he thought Percival could do better? He certainly could with those looks and that charming personality when he wasn’t going through one of his anger issues. Was it his frustration that Stinky Seilun didn’t know what she was getting into? She met him like what- a couple of times? She went with a 3rd year Ravenclaw to the Blossom Ball instead of Percival. Hana doesn’t see her waking up at 2 am in the morning to ease down a crying percival. Hanako never saw her be the one that cheered Percival upon his numerous upset episodes. Just what is it that makes him extremely bitter towards Opeila that-.

G a s p

Like a dramatic child he was- he slowly opened up the cap of the water bottle he was holding and started to drink it up. Could...he possibly be…n o .. je-

Bam. Just as he descended down the stairs- his very important deep thoughts were interrupted the minute he not to subtly crashed into another student in the middle of the crapping stairs. How did they even get there? His water, fortunately only spilled a few drops on the stairs from the impact, he gave a short sigh of relief at that and started to say;

Are - you - b l i n d? I could’ve feel and I swear to god I would’ve taken you down wit-” his voice caught up in his throat as his brain processed who he bumped into.

Speak of the devil , he almost said.

Right there was Opeila Stinky Seilun herself in her full stinkin glory. At that moment- it seemed like a haze in Hanako’s mind. When has it not tbh . The few seconds they exchanged eye contact, he was merely standing still devoid of any other emotions - the feelings of his opened bottle feeling heavier in his grip by the millisecond.

It was those moments where an urged action flashed through your mind but the little voice in your head says ‘ oh, don’t kick that tall kid just because you’re jealous, Hanako ‘. ‘Oh, don’t rip out your dad’s urgent letters, Hanako ‘. ‘ Oh, don’t attempt to attack them with snow spray, Hanako. They’re only 5 ‘. Those tiny words that just tried their best to make sure you didn’t do anything illogically destructive just because you had a morbidly curious result of an urge.

Don’t spray her with water, Hanako ‘.

He didn’t really listen to that tiny voice this time. Like watching a show, his hand moved on his own. The opened cap bottle- now without anything stopping it- raced out of his bottle and took a nice flight that landed directly on Opeila Seilun’s uniform. The cold water now stained the front of her clothes, giving her less than needed time to react a block towards his attack.

Ops~” an amused smiled perched on his lips, amazed at what he did without hesitance. He definitely wasn’t trying to hide the fact that it was on purpose. Once he thought she had enough water- he pulled back the bottle and closed the tap, his disturbing smile never fading. “ Oh dear...now what have you done~?” he obviously feigned concern, his free knuckle touching his lips in an unenthusiastic observing manner, like he was disappointed in what Opeila had done. “ Maybe...watch where you’re going next time, hm~?” He innocently smiled at the soaked student, seemingly unfazed- proud even- of the action he had done.

So the whole year had gone by, and Wyatt hadn’t had a single peaceful day. Yet, this day was quiet. No one shouted rude things at him as he walked down the corridor. No one pushed him around or hexed him- or did other petty things like that. Wyatt even tested his luck by eating his dinner in the great hall next to other people, and he wasn’t ridiculed for the way he breathed or blinked.

Now, he was going to go down to the chamber of secrets to end the day right. Quiet and alone, yet he stumbled upon a loser trying to ruin someone else’s day. And he ruined Wyatt’s day in the process. Wyatt was walking down the stairs and saw Hanako talking to someone. It didn’t exactly seem like a pleasant conversation. Tone had picked a fight with a Slytherin girl, judging by her robes.

“Oh dear...now what have you done?” Wyatt crossed his arms and rolled his eyes from behind Hanako. Looking closer, Wyatt saw Tone holding a water bottle and the girl wore a wet uniform. It didn’t seem like a coincidence. “Maybe...watch where you’re going next time, hm?” Apparently, the girl had bumped into him, so he… spilled water on her? Such a childish assault. It fit Hanako’s brand, though, didn’t it?

So it seemed the bullies (specifically this lousy imp, who masquerades as a human tool) had shifted their focus from Starkey to this Slytherin girl. “Good lord, Tone.” Wyatt was familiar with this boy. They’d met the first time Wyatt entered the chamber of secrets the previous month. Much like the interaction it seemed the two Slytherins before Wyatt were having, the experience wasn’t a nice one.

“Such a childish offense. You’d bend over backward just to ruin someone’s day, wouldn’t you?” Wyatt stopped to think. “Well, it seems you have,” he concluded. Wyatt was genuinely annoyed. Not for the girl in the splash zone, but for himself! His day was going so well, so nicely, so peacefully! And now he just had to run into Hanako Tone throwing water at people.

Opeila was still standing in the middle of the stairs, when a little boy ran into her. She had only looked behind her for a second, thinking about going back, away from all this... life in the great hall, she simply didn't feel up for it really.
Quickly she grabbed the stair railing to keep her balance. "Well, I was standing here for about ten seconds now, so if you honestly needed that long to see me, I guess you are either blind or just have the responsiveness of a loaf of brea-"

What a coincidence. That she just bumped into the last person she wanted to see, the one that threatened her only the day before, at her own party. He held a bottle of water in his hands, a few drops of it were spilled on the stairs when he bumped into her. He didn't leave it there, of course he didn't. He once more opened the bottle- and splashed the water onto her uniform. "Wha-?!" Opeila gasped when the cold water landed on her uniform, went through her cloak and her white blouse... that now was suddenly a little transparent. Good thing that she wore a thin white shirt under it.

For a few seconds she couldn't do anything but staring at Hanako. It was silly really, it was absolutely silly, but Opeila was at the edge of tears. How was it that people couldn't just let her be? That there was always someone around to ruin her good moments? Opeila liked to think of herself as a strong person, one that was not so easy to get down. And maybe she was one. But today she just felt worn out. Honestly, the little girl was ready to get back to her dorm and hide in her bed for the rest of the day, but she wouldn't.

Instead she tried to maintain her self control, straightened a little and tried to hold back her tears. She looked down on Hanako. "Very mature Tone, honestly. Now I honestly just have one question left. Is this a bad joke or are you actually that pathetic that you need to embarass other people in public to not feel like a loser about yourself? Either way, I barely even have pity left for you anymore, not to start about respect."

A boy showed up behind Hanako and Opeila was happy to let him speak. She used those few moments to wring her now wet hair and calm down a bit.

[font=PT Sans]“ Pa thE e T i C ? A L o S e r ? Me~?” As if he found those descriptions of him hilarious, he let out an impish laugh. “ Don’t waste your precious pity and respect for me, dear. At least not to someone like me. Have you seeeeenn me? “ With a cocky grin, he spun around once as if to prove a point, before he shrugged his shoulders and said “ I am perfect. I’m gleaming and feeling as bright as the sun every day and the only thing dimming my vibe is..” He glanced at Opeila’s drenched state, up and down, enjoying the nostalgia washing over him as he gave her a mocking smile.“ Hahah...well you know, already ~”

She was taking this rather calmly. After their last meeting, he looked forward to witnessing another dramatic leave from PeePee Seilun. Unfortunate that she seemed to have more self-control than Hana would’ve liked. It was probably better than his to be fair, considering he couldn’t control himself when ‘ accidentally’ splashing her with water. Props to her, honestly. But she wasn’t going to know that anytime soon.

Before he could utter another word, a newcomer joined. One he was extremely familiar with. A fellow bearer of the power of parseltongue. It almost seemed weird to see him again- as if Hanako had assumed the only time they’ll be meeting is the Chamber of Secrets. Nevertheless, he was delighted to see him. Even if Starkey had chosen to acknowledge this little ‘ incident’ .

I’m h u r t. Awfully” In an awfully dramatic tone and movement, he placed a hand on his heart and showed a hurt face that was way too expressive to be genuine. “ What a cruel world! Unfair ~ Unjust !~” With the way he was saddening his tone, it really looked like he was about to burst into fake tears and wail for his lost love. “ Would no one really believe I am the innocent one? Shammmeeee~ Oh, such-a-shammmeee~ “ Af if he himself couldn’t take this level of dramatics, he began to laugh. Rather..shamelessly. A laugh uncalled for and not suited for the situation yet his lack of manners won this round.

Throwing away his whole dramatic flair, he then proceeded in a chirpy tone, an innocent smile on his face that almost seemed to be taunting people to hit him.

Well~, if it makes the situation any better, I’m willing to forgive all of you for cramping my vibe.!” He grinned at them like he had saved their lives and helped them gain eternal happiness. Not bothering to wait for their response, he continued, “Yes, all of you ~. Including you, you dapper little boi~” As quick as lighting, he softly patted the other boy’s cheek (if he were close by) before retracting his hand, knowing Starkey would not like the physical contact one bit . “ No! No need to thank me. I am just feeling one of my best moods today. “ . He closed his water bottle tight and glanced back at the two with a small smile.

“...Well? What are you all waiting for? Scadoodles~”he shooed without an ounce of guilt nor shame.

Percival walked down the Great Stairs as he made his way towards the Great Hall. Dinner was the main goal in his mind at the moment. The boy was already running late for the meal having gotten caught up in his homework. That statement was rather strange for him as he usually avoided it to the best of his abilities. Though there always came a time where he actually had to sit down and do it. Tonight had been one of those dreaded times. Percival knew it was probably unwise to put off his homework to the last time. He knew his Uncle would disapprove of his habit. Most likely saying something about it being un-Slytherin-like. Yet, it was a habit he had yet to break.

As the boy walked down the stairs, he began to hear more sounds fill the air. The volume grew with each step, signifying to himself that he was nearing the Great Hall. Percival's steps tapped against the stone steps as he descended them. The sound echoed against the walls. As if the entire school was counting the steps with him. Percival's pace slowed down as the boy hit the landing of the staircase that held three figures. Two of the figures were very familiar while the other was less familiar. Percival watched as Hanako patted the third boy's cheek.

He had trouble remembering the boy's name, but he recognized that the boy was from his dorm. Percival could remember the boy as one of the many who resided in his dorm. The two had not talked much to him, but he remembered him being there when his dormmates had decided to eavesdrop on him. Despite this, Percival could not bring up a name for the boy. Percival decided not to put too much thought into it. Instead, focusing on how Opeila looked wetter than usual.

Percival's brow furrowed as he made his way down the stairs towards the three. His steps seemed louder as if signaling to the group that he was coming. It was completely unintentional, and the boy remained oblivious to any tension he may or may not have caused. Percival stopped a few steps above the three his brows remaining furrowed.

The boy's gaze locked onto Opeila raising an eyebrow at her. "Why are you wet?" he asked his tone showing his confusion clearly. Percival would glance towards Hanako noticing the half-empty water bottle in his hand. His gaze would flick back up to Hanako with an imploring look as if to ask him what had happened as well.

What was his problem? Was he actually so bored with his whole life he had nothing else to do than tormenting his peers? What sort of sad life was that? "Then I suggest you gleam and beam elsewhere Tone, where nothing distracts from it with brighter beams. How about the dungeons, you should find enough rats there to feel just at home.", she told the smaller boy with a false smile. He really got on her nerves. "Or alternatively find some purposeful activity. One day you will wake up and realize you are wasting your lifetime on hatred. How very sad."

Opeila walked past him, a little roughly brushing his shoulder with hers.
She had been planning to give a damn really and just go have some food in the Great Hall despite being wet, but a familiar voice stopped her. Oh amazing, that was the only thing she was missing for this day to be the absolute success. Her boyfriend seeing her being wet all over from his best friend's water bottle. Though...

Opeila turned to Hanako. "Yeah, KooKoo, why don't you tell Percival why I am wet. And where the water from you water bottle went.", she said, unable to resist to give him a similarly stupid sounding nickname.

[font=times new roman]Wyatt flinched slightly as Tone patted his cheek. He furrowed his brows in anger and embarrassment. Though he was busy mentally cursing himself for reacting to Tone’s little pat, he couldn’t help but notice the boy’s hands were quite delicate. No surprise there, though. Wyatt heard another set of footsteps, and the voice of one of his dormmates asking, "Why are you wet?" Wyatt turned his head to make sure he heard correctly.

Yes, it was Percival Rainwood’s voice he heard. Wyatt felt pretty indifferent feelings towards that boy which was a good thing, considering how much he despised his other dormmates. Among the strongly disliked ones were Jack (of course) and Hanako (duh). It was unfortunate that he decided to join the worst dorm of them all. The other dorms seemed to be quiet, but many of the inhabitants of the Severus Snape dorm were nothing if not obnoxious.

If Wyatt was to be honest, he’d admit he sort of zoned out until he heard the nickname, "KooKoo". KooKoo? What? Why? And Merlin, was that the funniest thing Wyatt had heard all week. Wyatt let out a small chuckle as the girl addressed Rainwood. "Why don't you tell Percival why I am wet. And where the water from you water bottle went." Wyatt rolled his eyes. What was the point of making Hanako tell the boy? She was wasting time.

Hopefully the Rainwood boy was a little less of a wimp than Wyatt was and would beat Hanako to a pulp for spilling water on his… girlfriend? Wyatt wasn’t so interested in his dormmates romantic lives, or their lives in general, but Wyatt noticed the Slytherin girl and Percival hung around each other quite a bit. “No riddles,” Wyatt said, addressing the girl. Then he turned to glare at Hanako, though it was clear he was talking to Rainwood.

“Tone spilled water on your girlfriend for… what? Looking at him the wrong way or something?” He smirked at the boy, though the smile didn’t quite reach his eyes. “I’m sure whatever reason KooKoo, here, has is completely valid. Now we know why the girl's got water on her shirt, how about we find out why the brat spilled it, hm?”
