Antidote For Disaster PV Henry Knight Finished

"That's pretty cool, do you have the same passion for magical creatures and non-magical animals as your parents do? My father also works in the department and regulation of magical creatures in the ministry so some coincidence, right. My older brother recently graduated from Hogwarts and now is in further school working toward to become a auror with the ministry and my twin sister well she is a squib so while she knows about magic she can't actually do any but she is still the bravest and brightest person you ever meet, and that's basically it. I never met any other members of my family since both of my parents were disowned by their families for befriending muggles." said Henry.
She smiled as she said her answer, "Yes! I am looking forward to the Care of Magical Creatures class. I'm sure it will be my favorite thing to study! Probably even more than Charms. My parents even gave me some lessons on how to help animals, the muggle way of course." she paused to take a breath, "Wow, that is a big coincidence, I wonder if they actually work together? But I'm going to be owling her soon anyway, I'll include it in the letter." she listened to Henry talk about his siblings, "I heard it's hard work being an auror. Like you have to get really good grades in many classes. But I'm sure he can do it." she thought about things a bit before replying about his sister, "My brother is like that too. Even if he doesn't turn out to be a wizard he still has a great personality. After all, being magical doesn't make you better than other people." Altair shuddered, I can't imagine being disowned by family. It must be horrible for your own family to hate you-- and because you like muggles! It's outrageous!" she took a deep breath, "I'm looking forward to meeting your family. They sound like really nice people."
Altair checked the clock, "Oh! It's time!" She scrambled for the book and hurried to add in the pinch of unicorn horn to the cauldron. But in her hurry to get the timing right, she accidentally knocked some mint leaves into the cauldron. "Darn it!" she rubbed her chin, "It should be fine, just one ingredient won't ruin the whole potion, right?" But she had a nagging feeling it will.

Henry smiled then answered her after Altair spoke " I'll probably send a letter to my father also, who knows maybe they work together quite a lot. And my brother is probably the smartest in my family and sometimes a git, he graduated from here last year and only ever got outstanding's on any exam or assignment not to mention he also got 12 outstanding owls and newts. My professors remind me of it all the time, it can be quite annoying sometimes but also provide shoes to fill but lucky for me I sort of like him when it comes to school. That still is nice to know your family, I don't know anything about mine mostly because my father says that both sides of my family are the typical pureblood's, like their biased against muggles and muggleborns, oh and also supported you know who. So my parents tried to keep us distant from them which they did since both me and my sibling's know nothing about them."

Hearing Altair say that the time has past, Henry went to get a wooden spoon to mix it while Altair added in the last ingredient. Henry thought she said darn it along with something else when he return, Henry started to mix their potion when he ask " everything ok Altair?"

Altair nodded as she heard Henry tell her more about his family. Then she saw him walk out as she added the last ingredients. "Darn it!" she rubbed her head.
"Everything okay Altair?" asked Henry.
Altair sighed, "Well, when I was adding in the last ingredients, I accidentally knocked some mint leaves in. Hopefully it won't affect the potion too much, right?"
She looked in Henry's book and saw the potion should be a teal color. Right now it was a vibrant teal. She flipped through the book, "It doesn't say if it should be a vibrant or dull teal, so that should be fine. It seems like the mint didn't make too much of a difference." Altair looked around for her wand, and spotted it on her chair. She waited for Henry to finish stirring and waved her wand over it to finish the potion. Hopefully this potion still works. I can't believe I was so clumsy like that! Those mint leaves could change the whole potion! Maybe the professor won't notice.
"Sorry about knocking in those mint leaves." said Altair as she took out a crystal vial. She filled it with the Antidote to Common Poisons from the cauldron. She closed the top and labeled it: 'Antidote to Common Poisons, Altair and Henry'.
"Okay, I think that's it. Would you like to turn it in, or should I?"

After hearing Altair, Henry smiled and spoke " hopefully the potion will be fine and it doesn't look like the mint leads did anything." Henry watched her as she collected some of their potion in a viral and then labeled it with both of their names before asking if he would like to hand it to the professor. Which at that moment the professor enter the room and went briskly to his desk where he started to grade others assignments, Henry watched as the man continued to give a frown and furiously write things down on a parchment. Is he giving a troll or dreadful to multiple student's or maybe he is angry about something else, what ever it is through he does not look like he wants to be bother and looks more than happy to give a troll or dreadful right now.

Henry looked back at Altair as he pulled his messager type bag over his shoulder and smiled at her " could you turn it in? Only because I might freeze while I'm handing it to him." Henry gave her a guilty smiled as he pointed toward the professor who was not in a cheery mood and in a worser mood than usual.

"Hopefully the potion will be fine and it doesn't look like the mint leaves did anything." said Henry. Altair gave a sigh of relief, it was a good thing Henry didn't think it had affected the potion either. They didn't have enough ingredients to redo the whole thing.
"Could you turn it in? Only because I might freeze while I'm handing it to him." said Henry, pointing at the professor.
"Sure." Altair walked up to where other students were handing in the potions too, and noticed their potion was much more vibrant than the potions the other students had. She gulped.
It was the end of class, and the professor handed her a paper with the grade she and Henry got for the potion, with a little grin. Altair met Henry with the paper. It seemed pretty soaked in ink which she was afraid meant they did a bad job. She unfolded the paper, "Henry! We got an O!" Altair showed him the paper, "It must be those mint leaves I knocked in on accident!" The professor hushed all the students out of the classroom, ending class for the day.
"That potion went better than expected!" said Altair, she looked around, seeing many of the students were already leaving to go back to their dorms, "So, meet you again at Diagon Alley? I heard the ice cream place there is pretty good."

Henry smiled widely when Altair said they got an outstanding and nodded in agreement when she said it was probably because she accidentally knocked some mint leaf's into their potion. As the professor hushed the class up then said a few final words before dismissing them away for the day, others around them started to pack their bags and head off back to their dormitory's or somewhere else with friends. Henry position his messager type bag on his shoulder in a more comfortable way and waited for Altair while he listen to her talk a out diagon alley again and the ice parlor that is there.

Henry smiled to her as he spoke " yeah definitely, we can meet during the winter holiday and Florean's ice cream is some of the best you will ever try. We can meet up their if you want, Altair?" Henry paused for a minute then continued to speak" I'm glad we met Altair and I can't wait to see you during the winter holiday and meet your family. We should probably get back to our dormitory's but I'll see you later Altair, bye." Henry waved after Altair as he exited the classroom and started on his way to the Slytherin common room, for the first time in a long time he will have plans for that holiday, he will have friends to meet during the holiday and meet up with again during Hogwarts.
