Greetings PV: Aldor Humbleglow Closed

Tallis had been concentrating hard on her sketch so she hadn't noticed Aldor getting closer and closer until she felt something touch her. She looked slightly to see that he practically had his head on her shoulder. She felt her face go red but stayed quiet, she wasn't sure if she should move or not. She couldn't tell if he was asleep or not and if she moved it could wake him up but if she stayed where he was he would stay just as close. She looked back down at her sketchbook and tried to get back to work, taking a deep breath to calm her nerves.

While she was trying to distract herself with drawing, it was a bit difficult. She bit her cheek, and looked out from the corner of her eye. Aldor had his eyes closed, and with a somewhat blank expression on his face it was difficult to tell if he was asleep or not. She looked at him and she couldn't help but think he was... kinda cute. She looked back at her sketchbook, that didn't mean anything. She thought lot's of people were cute it was no big deal. She quickly got back to work on her drawing, trying to distract herself again.

At this point Aldor would be falling asleep, still not paying attention to what was going, he would snuggle slightly, as he sighed silently, he seems extremly comfortable.

Maybe he noticed that he was resting his head on her at some point, but he did not really mind, something told him to stay, and not say a single word, yes, he questioned how smart this was, but he gave up, and simply go for his instincts, maybe it was a good idea, maybe not, but it is to late now that he is already there.

As Aldor was falling asleep, he couldn't help but think this was not that bad at all, he just to think liking girls was to trivial, and made no sense, he just to get tired of listening to his classmates talking about it, and sometimes even thought those classmates had something wrong with them, what could be so special about liking someone?

But now, he begins to slowly understand why people claim the feeling so much, he still doesn't get it, but he is starting to believe that maybe, just maybe, this is something he can put into his priorities, after all, a life focused mostly on books, and questioning everything that comes in your way seems a little monotonus now that he thinks about it.

At this point, Tallis's whole face was a tomato at this point. Aldor had only gotten closer and had even snuggled up close to her at this point. She had never been this close to someone physically and it was awkward. She was pretty sure he had fallen asleep at this point and was going back and forth between waking him up or letting him sleep. He was really warm and it was honestly kinda nice to be close to someone. Although, she barely knew Aldor it kinda felt like she had known him for years which was kinda odd.

She was just about done with her drawing and now just had to color it. She carefully unzipped her pencil pouch and took out a few colored pencils. At this point, the awkwardness had just been thrown out the window, and she was just getting used to it. It was a bit odd but it was definitely better than being insulted or beat up. She still had a cut and bruise on her other shoulder from the summer before she had come to Hogwarts.

It was mostly healed but it still stung and hurt, it wasn't as bad or look as bad as it was though. Her bruises and cuts always took a long time to heal which she found annoying. She shook those thoughts though out of her head and started to color her drawing.

Aldor would jump a little as he woke up, he took a deep breath, but remained with his eyes closed. He would slowly wrap his arm around hers, still letting her draw and paint, but . . . Perhaps this made this whole sittuation even more awkward, he couldn't help but enjoy being there, something about her was oddly soothing and nice to Aldor.

He'd whisper quietly ''Thanks for letting me rest on your shoulder-'' Aldor would smile softly, as he slowly looked back up to her. He'd seem to be better.

''I'm sorry for taking your personal space- I can move if you want me or need me to do so-'' Aldor would wait for an answer, as he kept thinking and analizing the sittuation. She did not move in the first place, perhaps she felt bad for him and decided not to do anything or maybe she genuinely did not care, he doesn't know, but at least he took time to rest and clear his mind.

Maybe he will never understand how this works, or why he feels the need to be close to her, but he wishes that he can, after all, this is a new experience to him, and it's so mysterious and- pretty.

After some time she felt the Hufflepuff boy jump slightly and then felt his arms wrap around one of her own. Her face had gone back to it's usual pale but quickly went back to a tomato red. If things weren't awkward before they were now. The awkwardness had just jumped back through the window it had been thrown out of. She heard him quietly thank her for letting him rest, she hoped he was feeling better but wasn't sure exactly what she should do. He then apologized for taking up her space and said he could move if she wanted or needed him to.

She bit her cheek again for the hundredth time today trying to figure out what she was going to say. Before she knew it though, words just started coming out of her mouth, "Y...You don't h...have to, I d...don't mind." She wasn't sure why she said that but she had and there was no going back. She turned her head slightly to look at him to see him already looking at her, smiling slightly up at her. She felt like her heart was going to burst out of her chest from her nerves, why didn't she tell him to move, why hadn't she just moved.

''Well- I feel very comfortable here- but after a while of instense silence and awkwardness- I don't think you are as comfortable as me-''

He'd smle softly, as he would loose his grip, snuggling once more. ''It feels awful- doesn't it?-'' He'd stare a the ground for a few seconds while thinking. ''Is it because of me or would it feel as awful all the time?-''.

His smile faded for a few seconds, he is starting to think that he should go before making her feel even worse, of course she said she did not mind, but he was pretty sure that she was feeling extremly awkward, yet, he does not know what to do or say at this point.

''In any case- if at some point you do find someone that you like- and that person corresponds your feelings and both of you end up being a couple- tell them I'm sorry for using your shoulder- and that they have a good eye for women-''

The boy would slowly let go of her, and returned to his original position, he'd throw his head back, resting on the tree again, maybe this would help, after all, letting go of her probably helped her feel more calm, even though he said something very, very odd, that was probably the single most awkward compliment ever, yet, after saying that he found her attractive, probably that was not as bad.

Aldor started talking again and she noticed that he loosened hi grip on her arm, snuggling once more into her. He then asked her if it was awkward just because of him or was it always this awkward. She bit her cheek trying to think, she was this awkward around everyone but he was the first boy and person just in general to get this close to her besides her parents of course.

Before she could say anything though, he started talking again saying that if she did ever end up with someone, he apologized for using her shoulder and they had a good eye for... women. Tallis felt her face go red again, her heart honestly felt like it was going to explode out of her chest and she wasn't sure why, maybe from embarrassment.

She watched as he let go of her and returned to his spot leaning back against the tree. The warmth she had felt next to her left and the cold returned. "I...I am j...just awkward a...around everyone," she told him, pausing for a second," Y...You are the f...first person to g...get that cl...close to me th...though, be...besides my pa...parents of c...course." She looked down at her hands that she had sat in her lap, not entirely sure what to do next.

''I don't blame you- I just really needed that- I can avoid doing it again if you disliked it- but of course- if you simply do not mind it- It would be nice to be able to rest on someone's shoulder again-''

He would close his eyes, as he started thinking about how badly that went, maybe he was really just awkward, or it is just the fact that his actions were a little to awkward, he is used to the feeling, but for some reason he felt the need to be kind and considerate to her.

''If you ever need a shoulder to rest your head on as well- I will always be here-''

He'd smile a little as a bit of nostalgia came to him, falling asleep on her shoulder reminded him of those long nights when he fell asleep on his aunt's lap, after many hours of reading and listening to soft lullabies, good times, simpler times.

All of this was strange to Aldor, he started to have the same feeling that Tallis explained to him a while ago, but he could not understand, why would he feel like this? They just met and Aldor can't help but understand why his classmates will not shut up about how special liking someone was.

She watched as Aldor leaned his head back and closed his eyes, starting to talk to her again saying that he really wouldn't do it again but it was nice. She bit her cheek, deep in thought, unsure of what to say next. He then told her that if she ever needed a shoulder he would be here for her. Why was this boy so nice to her, she had just met him and yet she felt like she had known him for years.

Maybe, there where lots of people like him out in the world, she just had always been to scared to go up to people so she had never been able to meet anyone.She saw him smile slightly as he leaned back, and she wondered what he was thinking about. He was... really, really sweet and she wasn't sure why, she had never understood most people but people who were actually nice to her always confused her.

"Tha...Thank you Al...Aldor," she said quietly, flipping through the pages of her notebook to try and calm her nerves. She took a deep breath, not sure what to do. This had been a tiring and stressful week and it felt like it was all catching up to her. She always got bad head aches when she was to stressed and she had been doing well up until now. She gripped her sketchbook tightly, biting down on her cheek, not wanting to draw attention to herself.

''You know the shoulder part was- literally as well- you seem tired-''
Aldor would keep his eyes closed, as he tapped his fingers on his leg. He is still thinking about the whole sittuation, but he wasn't really nervous or mad, he was just confused and concerned.

''I already invaded your personal space- You are allowed into mine- Unless you still want to feel tired or you are not comfortable with it-''

He would open his eyes, and slowly turned to her, smilling softly. ''It shouldn't be awkward though- It is not like I am asking you to go all around Hogwarts holding my hand as I compliment your beautiful hair and the feel of your skin-'' He would chuckle awkwardly, that comment was. . . very out of place.

''What I am trying to say it's- that sleeping or at least resting a bit will do no harm- I do not bite so- feel free to come closer-'' Aldor would fidget with his thumbs, as he looked at the sky, thinking, or at least trying to relax, maybe he does not show it that much, but inside he feels like he is slowly breaking apart out of pure fear and worry, he has never felt like this, and it is starting to concern him.
