Charlotte Connors has always been a curious person. Growing up in a magical household in London, she was surrounded by stories, traditions, and beliefs that shaped the way she understood the wizarding world. Her parents taught her to take pride in their magical heritage, although Charlotte has never been entirely satisfied with simply accepting everything she is told. She prefers to explore, observe, and discover things for herself. This curiosity has always been one of her defining characteristics, and it is also what makes her connection to the magical world of serpents feel like a natural part of her story.
The origins of Charlotte's ability can be traced back to an ancestor whose name has gradually disappeared from the family's stories. Although the Connors family has preserved many of its traditions, not every part of its history has been openly discussed. Somewhere along the family tree, an individual possessed the rare ability to speak Parseltongue. As generations passed, the significance of this connection was forgotten, leaving Charlotte unaware that she might have inherited something so unusual.
Charlotte did not grow up expecting to possess a rare magical talent. She was aware that the wizarding world contained many extraordinary things, but she had no particular reason to believe that she would be different from other young witches. Her first experiences with accidental magic had already taught her that magic could emerge unexpectedly, sometimes in moments of strong emotion. Nevertheless, she did not understand that some magical traits could be inherited and remain unnoticed until they manifested.
Her interest in magical creatures has always encouraged her to pay attention to the details that other people might overlook. Charlotte enjoys exploring unfamiliar places and learning about the history of the magical world. She is especially interested in discovering how different creatures behave and how they fit into the wider wizarding community. While curiosity can sometimes make her stubborn, it also encourages her to approach unfamiliar situations with patience and determination.
Discovering that she could understand the language of serpents would challenge Charlotte's understanding of herself and her family history. At first, she might struggle to explain what she was experiencing, particularly because Parseltongue is so rare and carries such a complicated reputation. She would need time to understand the significance of her inheritance and how to approach it responsibly.
Being a Parselmouth would not suddenly make Charlotte an expert on snakes or give her the ability to control them. Instead, it would introduce her to a form of communication that she would gradually learn to understand and use appropriately. Her curiosity would encourage her to explore this unfamiliar part of her heritage, while her stubbornness might make it difficult for her to leave unanswered questions alone.
Ultimately, Parseltongue fits Charlotte because it connects her natural curiosity, her magical ancestry, and her desire to understand the world beyond what she has been taught. It would give her another reason to investigate her family's past and discover a part of herself that had remained hidden.

Laura has 2 very rough brothers and a sister who loves to play pranks on any one she can find. And that was mostly her the youngest. So Laura learned from a young age to not get afraid afraid about almost nothing really cause she was used to loud bangs parents randomly apparating into her room with a loud bang and other things of that sort. Laura has an undying love for adventures and experiments. ( Mostly very dangerous and exciting ) Her friends always joined her in their adventures where they would mostly go into the dark forest next to Laura's home. They once encountered a quite dangerous creature in the forest and Laura did not run but stood there gazing at it studying it before casting a spell she should not do. Her friends had all ran away or climbed up a tree. Laura does not fear of people quickly appear behind her and suddenly speak. She got shouted at after that and got told not to go there any more. But did she listen no. She went back and started bringing food and water for the animal slowly they became close. People often certify fearless into reckless or uncarful. But for Laura it is part of her personality her nature is to be fearless. At hogwarts it was way easier for her to be fearless since she never got shouted at or called reckless because Gryffindors were know for being fearless and brave. And having a lot of courage. Laura got into a lot of detentions for being so fearless cause she kept sneaking out to explore the castle after night fall. When Laura encountered a Grindelow while fishing she did not even flinch just simply picked it up by a leg and threw it back deep into the lake keeping a close eye on the pond trying to assist her friend who was a Muggle but knew about magic. Laura also does not frighten easily but loud noises dark rooms or loud bangs. The one only thing she hates is tight closed spaces. She loves her freedom and would keep it at all costs. People think Laura just grew into it but for Laura it is her personality her life basically. Laura gets bored easily and if you get bored you need an idea and for Laura that would be sneaking out and adventure or anything else.

You couldn't be around for as long as Pax had and not developed any semblance of sneakiness in their nearly 17 years of living. Especially as a middle child, that especially lent itself to being able to get away unnoticed out of situations - however, more usually to cause trouble than not. It was almost as if they had reversed - getting captaincy at such a young age had meant they needed to mature quickly, and now they had reached an age where they wanted to let more whimsy back into their life. Well, they would call it whimsy. Others might call it mischief.
You see, in their tenure as both a captain and a middle child, Pax had become quite skilled at independently observing and consequently quickly dealing with a problem. Most of the time, they could get away with it without even being seen. This was a talent that they'd learnt to exploit at home most of all: in family board game nights, sibling broom races around the garden, and especially in Mario Kart. Deal with a problem, quick and efficiently, no matter what was necessary. And, well, if that required a little bit of bending the rules to allow for success, Pax wasn't totally against that. It may be somewhat morally dubious, but Pax was a big believer that as long as people weren't too hurt by anything, it was all in the spirit of the game. Besides, rules were made to be broken.
But the sneakiness was only part of the technique of cheating. Precision was the second aspect, and arguably the more important one at that. There's no point in being the sneakiest bastard on the pitch if you couldn't actually land the hit that you needed. For the last few years, Pax had hidden behind their bat on the pitch - they could be a damn good shot, but to be the best captain, they needed to understand all roles on the pitch. And the 'cheaters' are a pivotal role - more than anything, Pax knew that a good cheater could make or break a tough match. So, to teach the best, they needed to become the best.
So over the summer, that's what they worked on. Between the family game nights insisted upon by their parents and the regular sibling broom races, that left them plenty of opportunity to practice. By the time September rolled around, they could just about scrape by with almost any foulplay in any boardgame. However, on the pitch, they knew it'd be a struggle, but they were willing to put their new skills to the test.

Name of Ability that you Are Applying for: Obnoxiously Strong
Describe why this fits your character (not why you the player want it): 448/400
ReducioSage had always been a fan of running. The rush of the wind against her hair, the flush of her skin when she finished were comforting to her. Within that, the years of running had left its toll on her. Not a negative one, but one that strengthened her. When Sage ran, she wasn’t just controlling her body, she was calculating when her knee needed to bend, how much weight she had to put on her running blade.
But there was also an emotional strength within it. Over the summer, a switch flipped in Sage’s brain and the need to prove her strength changed dramatically. It wasn’t just about doing something she loved anymore. No, this was a war she was fighting, and she needed to be strong enough to defend herself.
The divorce of her dad and step-mum, Cassie, hit her like a bullet, and knowing that her father would still have visits with her wasn’t something she was all too happy with. During the time she spent with him over the summer, London’s muggle gyms came in especially helpful.
Between all her years of running and beginning to lift, Sage’s physical demeanor was no longer that of a scrawny, scared 11-year-old. She fell in love with the silent pulse of the exercise machines, the sticky sweat that clung to her back after a bench press. Sage was there as often as possible.
Sage had always been careful to take care of herself. She might have trained herself to lift 40 pounds, but she was also trained to understand the fit of her socket and how to avoid burning out from having to use more energy to keep up with the mobility.
In the days leading up to her return to Hogwarts, Sage and her sister Kora had returned home with Cassie to get their things ready. Suddenly back in the familiar feel of Kent without easy access to muggle gyms, Sage made a point to not let her improved strength down. She would lift boxes around the house, jog whenever she could, or go for bike rides.
There was one particular day when Cassie pointed out, “You’ve gotten stronger! That box had to be at least 50 pounds!”
Sage paused, suddenly beginning to realize that her efforts had worked out. “Yeah. I guess so.”
Even though her sole effort since the divorce had been improving her physical strength, seeing the impact of her exercising brought a smile to her face. She’d actually done it. By the time it came for her to board the train back to Hogwarts, she couldn’t wait to get back on the Quidditch field and navigate the course with her newfound strength.
