Bella was just about to ask another question when she heard a loud, alarming splash.
"What's going on? Wait, someone fell in, right?" Bella exclaimed, worried. Then, she heard another splash. "Did someone jump in after them?"
Bella was trying to get a better glimpse into the fog when suddenly, Xio tore off her robes and hurriedly placed them into her lap. Before she could even protest, or say no, or say ANYTHING, her friend jumped into the water.
"Oh my goodness, XIO!" Bella yelled, startled. "Why! Swim back! It's too dangerous!"
But her friend just swam on. She was scared that Xio might drown before remembering that she was an expert swimmer.
"Oh, no. This only leaves me one choice...then. I was not planning to go on a swim today, on the first day of Hogwarts. Ughhh, Xio!" she grumbled as she took off her robe, revealing the T-shirt and pants underneath (Yes it was really hot with that robe. She wears like three layers of clothing).
"Thanks Lucian! Thanks Merc! I know this is foolish and risky but thanks!" Bella quickly exclaimed, throwing both Xio's and her bundle of robes to the boys. "Oh! And here's my wand! Please keep them safe! Thanks!"
Without another word, Bella took a deep breath and jumped into the water.
That's so cold! It was the first thing that came to Bella's mind as she floundered and thrashed in the water. Then, she calmed down and reminded herself that she knew how to swim.
Bella was able to surface, take breaths of air, and then follow her friend.
"Guess I'm doing this, then! Oh, Bella, what friends you had made," she whispered before swimming off once more.
OOC Notes: Oh, of course you did!
