The boy looked up and stopped fiddling with his camera. That’s a muggle camera, Carolyn noted, pleasantly surprised. She felt nervous. The boy kept scanning the empty seats next to him, looking a bit unsure. Oh…they are probably taken, aren’t they? Or maybe he just doesn’t want a company…Her brain kept coming up with more and more unpleasant theories. “No, you can take them if you want." His voice brought the Ravenclaw back to reality as he finally made his decision. “Oh, thank you. I really only need one,” she smiled gently, contemplating where exactly to sit. In the end, Carolyn decided to sit next to the stranger. She wasn’t sure at first but he moved his bag aside, indicating he would be fine with it. That way more people could fit if they needed a seat and wouldn’t have to separate just because she sat one seat over.
“Thanks again,” Carolyn said as she was sitting down. “Is that a muggle camera?” She asked curiously while setting the sketchbook on her lap. They had a similar one at home so she was no stranger to the gadget but she always assumed students would prefer enchanted cameras over the usual ones. “Must be really good.” The Quidditch players were constantly moving. One had to be a skilled photographer and have a great device to keep up with them. “Oh, I’m Carolyn by the way,” she quickly remembered her manners, hoping she wasn’t being too annoying with her questions. It wasn’t unusual unfortunately. Sometimes she would ramble when she felt nervous, which she always did around strangers. It was a work in progress. “Also If you are waiting for your friends and they show up just let me know. I will move somewhere else. I’m not a huge fan anyway.” She added with a smile. Carolyn would definitely stay until the end of the match just to see her classmates’ performance but she didn’t need the best view for that.

“Is that a muggle camera?” Henry heard her ask while she was sitting down, Henry just nodded as she spoke again “Must be really good.” Henry smiled at her then started to look through his pictures the he took, they are sort of goo I guess, Henry went back to taking pictures of the match when he heard the girl say “Oh, I’m Carolyn by the way,” also If you are waiting for your friends and they show up just let me know. I will move somewhere else. I’m not a huge fan anyway. Henry then stopped taking pictures and sort of turned to look at her while smiling a bit and spoke"yes, it is a muggle camera. I always prefer them, since it's more of a test of skills then the other camera and I'm Henry."
Henry canned his neck to see if he could spot his friends, It's fine if they don't come I'll be fine if Cricket nor Charles come, as he started to fiddle with his camera and say "And I don't think my friends are coming but it doesn't since I might not stay long. I'm not to into quidditch and I mostly came to get some pictures." Henry showed her some of his pictures that he took then went back to taking some more photos. Henry occasionally looked at the pictures he was taking and then sometimes deleted them if he didn't like the way he took them, he then would continued to look through the viewfinder of his camera at the match as he took pictures of both the game and players.

With an arm full of snacks from the travelling vendor, Calanthe made her way up to the section of seats reserved by the school. She trailed behind Carolyn who may or may not have noticed the Gryffindor follow her from their shared tent. Truthfully, Calanthe did not feel like attending the match. She had made a promise to let herself see the light more after the final month of the term, during which she had a very eye-opening conversation about her attitude. There was definitely some effort made, such as joining the Gryffindor slumber party or attempting to speak to Carolyn in their quarters, but Calanthe still could not figure out just how to exist like a normal human.
The metamorphosis afflicting the young witch made her feel even more uncomfortable in her own skin and the anxiety already bubbling from past experiences took a sturdier hold on her small body. She could barely make it outside for any of the previous events, choosing to be holed up in the tent just like she stayed under her blankets for most of her first year at Hogwarts. With the new uncompromising rules following the students to the stadium, she found it impossible to sneak off for quiet contemplation and exploration at night like she had been doing at Hogwarts.
There came a point where enough was enough and even the introverted Calanthe needed to be out of her tent. So why not pay a visit to the grand event? If she had not seen Carolyn leaving, Calanthe would have probably stayed in bed. The Ravenclaw’s exit gave her just the push she needed to get out for some fresh air.
As Calanthe scanned the seats from the bottom of the section, she noticed Carolyn find one easily. Some people met up with their friends, a couple were holding cameras and a few were all to themselves – a position Calanthe was sure she would find herself in for the rest of the night. Yellow was the predominant colour of the evening and she was almost sad that she did not follow suit. Baby steps. Clothed in her trademark dark colours that always went unnoticed, she eyed the path to the seat in the corner of the very last row. Perfect.
On her way there, Calanthe spotted Sylvia – one of the boys she credited with starting this whole self-transfiguration. She did not know whether to thank him or push him off the stands. He was sitting with another boy, a first year presumably. They chatted amicably and Calanthe was sure she did not want to ruin that with her dreary presence. She whizzed straight past them on the way to her preferred seat, but stopped in her tracks halfway there. It’s now or never, ya fecking coward.
Breathing in a bit too sharply, Calanthe entered Sylvia’s row and sat a few seats away from him. Okay. What now? She felt her heart speed up, bracing herself for another bout of mind-fiddling anxiety. Ripping open a chocolate frog and stuffing the treat into her mouth, she tried to force the feeling of nausea down, wondering if it was actually worth it to try talking to someone if she was going to feel like this every time.
“H-hey, Sylvia.” What? What was that? Did I just…speak?!
As if against her own will, Calanthe cleared her throat and tried again. “Hey, Sylvia,” though she was not sure if that sounded more confident, “Is that seat taken?” She pointed to the one next to him. If he allowed her to sit, she would, very awkwardly, move to his side and sit with her palms pressed against her legs, afraid to even relax her spine. If he didn’t, she would stay where she was in the same position. Either way, she would nod to his friend with a tense smile and mumble in their direction, “W-what… how exactly does this game… thing… work?”

The weather had been harsh all day. Earlier, Nico had dressed up in a summer sun-proof outfit which allowed her to move around freely without burning much of her skin. There were a few spots here and there, but she was doing fine. Nothing some skinbalm couldn't fix. It had the highest factor to protect her ever so fragile skin. It was worth it. The dhampir really wanted to enjoy her time outside of the thick castle walls.
The sun was slowely descending and the sky had turned into a soft red colour which would soon turn into a purple hue. It felt so nice to be out. The scorching temperatures had faded quite a bit. Perfect for a sun loving dhampir like her. Of course, it hurt her so much whenever she had her skin exposed to its murderous rays for too long, but the light did make her feel happy. Seated on a nice spot with a little bit of shade, the redhead was barely recognisabel. One would surely mistake her for a Hufflepuff in the attire she wore.
For once the Quidditch player wasn't playing against the yellow-black team, but instead she was cheering for them. Her strawberryred hair put in pigtails as they lightly draped on her shoulders. Badger yellow ribbons kept them tight in place, allowing not a single strand of hair to slip out of its tight embrace. Bright yellow overknee socks addorned with the Hufflepuff crest with her black converse Hufflepuff themed sneakers worn underneath. A cute top that only showed a little bit of stomach (the weather was hot, cut her some slack, especially for a dhampir) with a matching skirt with the same pattern of lines and colours. To finish it off, she carried two cute black/yellow coloured fluffy pompons which were so fun to watch mix whenever she'd shake them in excitement.
Who did she come to cheer on? Mainly, two people. Serena, someone she looked up to, almost like a sister. Ever since she met her, Nico felt a certain familiarity with her. A certain loyalty and trust. As if she didn't have to uphold a cold façade. Her personality made it melt off right away. Next to her, there was her beloved boyfriend and Hufflepuff Quidditch Captain, Quinn. The giant with the gorgeous freckles and kind eyes... And everything nice. Just for him, she had secretly made a banner which had a pretty clear and straight forward inscription. It surely would catch his eye. There was no way he could miss that, right?
Clenched with it in her hands waving it wildly as soon as Quinn got on the field, Nico could barely contain herself. This girl was a true mystery and others who knew her to be held back and rather hurt, would surely be... confused and maybe even more afraid seeing her wiggle around like that. 'QUINN! WOOOOOO! GO GET 'EM!' The fellow Hufflepuffs around her might've thrown her a few weird glances, but for now she really couldn't care much. Her cheeks were obviously flushed red, ashamed and embarassed of her extroverted actions, but she tried to ignore it. She wanted to cheer them on. 'SERENA GO! YOU CAN DO IT!'
Beside her, a seat had still been open until a few second ago. Some stranger had taken a seat. Nothing weird about it. Except... he had this certain vibe. This attitude. The one of ill manners. The dhampir decided to not let it ruin her vibe. She was happy! However, when Serena flew around, more in sight for people to see, the boy beside her apparantly had an opinion about the Badger.
"Pathetic..."
There was no other player as plain in sight as Serena at that moment. Was he really ... being this kind of pathetic? Nico slightly turned towards him, her eyes looking down to up, to stop at his face. Truth be told....
He was pretty goodlooking...
And those were the dangerous ones. Not that Quinn.. was necesarrily dangerous. He was just abit clumsy.
Right?
'Uhm... is there a problem?' His choice of words had popped her balloon of happiness and started to set something in motion within the prefect. 'The game hasn't even started...' She was now clearly looking at him, adressing him. He was taller than her. Quite a bit. But so was Quinn. In fact... This boy was alot smaller than the gingergiant. What's to be afraid about except those... angry pointy eyebrows of his...

The boy mostly nodded to acknowledge Carolyn’s questions, which only further supported her feeling of being annoying. Well maybe he just wants to focus on his photos. She argued with herself. Finally after introducing herself, the boy turned around to face her. “Nice to meet you Henry,” she smiled when he threw in his name as well. “I see, I must admit I was never good at taking pictures though my father tried to teach me. It was always just a blurry mess.” She remembered the times fondly. Eventually, the poor man had to give up on her and just do the work himself.
Henry then turned around to check his surroundings once again and Carolyn couldn’t help but do the same. While doing so, she spotted a familiar figure pushing through the crowd. Calanthe? She tilted her head curiously, suddenly feeling bad for not inviting her tentmate. Then again, she didn’t look like she was up to going outside today so Carolyn didn’t want to bother her. She tried to wave at the girl but Calanthe probably didn’t see her and if she did, she obviously spotted some other friends to hang out with. Henry didn’t seem very successful in finding his friends either.
“Me neither,” the Ravenclaw said when her seatmate admitted his indifference towards Quidditch. “I admire the skill but that’s about it. I came here mostly to support my classmates and maybe make some sketches.” She shrugged while leaning closer to look at Henry’s pictures. “Some of those look pretty nice actually,” she praised his skill. Many of them would probably end up blurry but there seemed to be a lot on good ones as well.

Miranda had never been one for loud crowds, and this was definitely the loudest crowd she'd ever encountered. It made her wish she had some of those muggle devices called "earplugs". Almost, but not quite.Open to interactions!
The only reason she'd came was that she'd never seen a real Quiditch game before, and of course her curious nature won her over. Nothing drew her like a chance to learn something knew. Although, it might've been smarter to read more books on the sport, because she had no idea what was going on.
"Yeesh," she muttered under her breath, ducking her head to try and block some of the noise out. "The people here are louder than an Erumpent, if that's even possible."
Some of the people Miranda passed looked familiar, and she realized they must be fellow Hogwarts students. She didn't know any of them personally, but she'd passed them in the halls and seen them during classes.
Miranda turned to glance at the pitch, where players on brooms zipped around at a speed that made it hard for her to make them out, and tried to focus on the game. It was confusing, especially to her, someone who'd never actually seen or really had the sport explained to her, but she thought she recognized some of the players and their roles, like the Keepers in front of the goalposts. However, that was pretty much it.
"If only Quiditch were a smidgen less complicated, I might actually be excited," Miranda said with a sigh. "This - this is just too much."

“Nice to meet you Henry, I see, I must admit I was never good at taking pictures though my father tried to teach me. It was always just a blurry mess," Carolyn replied to Henry as he smiled and placed his camera on his lap and spoke" it's nice to meet you to and it just takes practice and also interest to become good at photography." Henry smiled at her as he started to fiddle with camera settings a bit then looked through the viewfinder on the camera. Henry faced the match and lined up a shot, he waited for the players to come flying by which when they did he took a shot of the hufflepuff chaser zooming by.
Henry checked the shot once he took it to ensure it wasn't blurry when he heard Carolyn speak“Me neither, I admire the skill but that’s about it. I came here mostly to support my classmates and maybe make some sketches. Some of those look pretty nice actually.” Henry looked up at her and smiled, as he saw behind her what looked like his ravenclaw friend; Miranda. I didn't know she was going to the summer camp maybe I should call her over, Henry was about to call her over when he saw her take a seat while watching the match somewhere else, oh maybe she found some other friends then, Henry turned back to Carolyn as he spoke "thank you, since I showed you my pictures can I see a few of your sketches?"
Henry paused for a couple minutes before he continued to speak " that's sweet how you only came to support the team and you didn't judge me when I said I'm not a fan of quidditch while most would since it's the most popular sport. I mainly just came to take some pictures and also find out the outcome of the match since my friend and I have a bet on it."

It has been two weeks since the Slytherin student attend the Summer Camp. So far this is the day that Cash waiting for. The big match between Hufflepuff and Durmstrang. The Camp provided varieties of activities to attend to. Cash thanks Merlin for that.
The sky was clear and the air sticky warm. They wore loose white sleeveless tank top, pair it with short jeans pants and those summer sandals. They also wear sunglasses to shield their eyes from the evening sun.
Their shoulder length dyed purple hair tied into half ponytail. They can not comprehend when some of their friends decided to wear something long and thick on this hot evening day.
The activities that they joined through out the summer camp enough to distracted the green eyes girl from their home life situation. Cash knew that attend the Summer Camp was the best decision they young Serpent made.
And so after they done their daily morning run routine, they get back to their tent, take a long warm shower and wore their outfit of the day for this occasion. When Cash arrived at the Stadium, the stadium already filled up from both of the school students body.
Cash need to passed through some people to get to the vacant seats. When they sit down, they spotted a boy holding a camera. It looks like a muggle one. Cash had seen someone holding camera around school before.
Then another girl holding what look like popcorn and some beverage. Cash smile at that. The temptation to buy some popcorn and drink was there for Cash, maybe they will buy it on the half time of game or when the game was over.
They do not need to spilled their concessions to other spectators that will watch the game. Cash look at their surrounding and spotted someone leaning against the railing from a distance. They need to squinted their eyes to make out properly whose that person will be.
For several minutes later, Cash know whose the person is. Cash raise their hand and wave to Mars from distance. They hoping Mars spotted the wave and decide to sit beside them. It is better to watch the match with friends rather than to sit alone with no one to interact with.
But then maybe the young Serpent spoke to soon. A single voice broke from the loud noise. Cash sitted near her enough to make out what she said. "If only Quiditch were a smidgen less complicated, I might actually be excited,"The girl said with a sigh. "This - this is just too much.".
"Not a fan, eh?,"Cash turns to the girl, their sunglasses still perched on their nose. The girl seems lost of what she about to watch. Cash look back at the field and then to the girl again. "I could explain it to you about the game and the players if you want to. If not, no sweat"Cash told the girl.

Soon after Carolyn saw her tentmate, Henry also seemed to spot a familiar face. Is it my time to leave then? She wondered briefly. Nobody came their way however, so he probably didn’t have much luck either. Instead he asked if he could see her art. “Oh?…I mean sure. I mostly draw animals though,” she opened her sketchbook and handed it to him. True to her word, most of the pictures were indeed animals but there were some sceneries as well. She did those occasionally during special moments or events. She drew one during the stargazing trip and she was about to do another one here.

"That's sweet how you only came to support the team and you didn't judge me when I said I'm not a fan of quidditch.” Carolyn sighed upon hearing those words. “Yeah, I know that feeling quite well,” she was also often hesitant to admit this to others. Even her mother loved the sport dearly. “Although I met some hardcore fans that were really nice about it,” she said encouragingly. By no means did she think that all people who loved Quidditch judged those who didn’t…still, it was not uncommon so she understood why he was surprised. “I also happen to enjoy studying which doesn’t help my reputation either,” she chuckled quietly. Thank god, she was a Ravenclaw and therefore mostly surrounded by students that felt the same.

Carolyn has passed Henry her sketch book and he placed his camera on his lap, while after started to flip through her sketch book. After he completed looking at the book he handed it back to her while he said" those are very good,
do you mind if I call you artist now?" Henry laughed a bit at that as Carolyn spoke “Yeah, I know that feeling quite well, although I met some hardcore fans that were really nice about it." Henry nodded to her as she spoke again after a pause “I also happen to enjoy studying which doesn’t help my reputation either."
Henry smiled at her as he thought for a while on what to say, he side eye the match and was now confused as to what was going on mostly because he wasn't paying attention to it for a while. After a while he gave up on trying to figure out who was winning and turned back to Carolyn as he spoke" I enjoy studying to and also reading, so I know how that can not do well with your reputation." Henry continue to graze at her as he thought about what to say next. As Henry was thinking he picked up his camera again and looked at the pictures he already took of the match while deleting a few he didn't like. Once he finished, Henry looked back through the viewfinder of his camera and started to take pictures again, Henry try to focus on each player as he snapped photos of the match.
