Lost? Meeting by chance.

Nancy was lost. Absolutely, utterly, lost. Hogwarts was like a labyrinth and, well, she was stuck in the middle of it. She had been exploring the second and third floors to get an idea of where the classrooms would be but had taken a wrong turn. Perhaps she should have noticed she had gone the wrong way when the corridors became a lot less quieter and she stopped seeing so many portraits. Nevertheless, in her excitement she had carried on walking and walking and walking and now, to her utter dismay, was lost.
When she had a moment of free time, Nancy enjoyed exploring the castle. It reminded her of storybooks she had a read as a little girl; muggle books that told magical tales in castles just like this one.
A little way up ahead, she spotted a door.
‘Perhaps this is the right way’ she thought to herself, making her way over with hurried steps. Upon reaching the door, she rapidly came to the conclusions that this was not the right way after all. The room appeared to be an abandoned lavatory. It was quiet and she could hear her own breathing in the silence.
The wooden stalls creaked ever so slightly and Nancy could almost feel the dust in the air as she breathed.
To make matters worse, it was dark. Normally, Nancy didn’t mind the dark, but being lost in the dark was a different matter. The few candles did not do much to light the room, but cast eerie shadows up against the walls.
“If only I had a torch...” she muttered to herself, holding her robes just a little bit tighter around herself, nervous.
Then a noise broke the silence.
Footsteps.
Footsteps behind her.
Nancy spun around.
