General The Hufflepuff Table 2017 - 2018 Closed

James was walking to to the Hufflepuff Table when a girl ran past shouting something about Charms.
James watched her go for a moment before just shrugging. He sat down next to the group of Hufflepuffs that were there, and waved.
"Hey all!" he said, smiling.
James wanted to make friends here, and he figured the Great Hall would be a good place to do it.

  Ani adjusted the bandanna covering her eyes from under her brows to the middle of her faint crimson cheeks. She glanced over and smiled at him, waving her hand at him.
   
     " Hello! Where you coming from,name? Mines Ani." She exclaimed with a smile. 

James saw a girl wave back at him, and he smiled again. 
"Nice to meet you, Ani!" James exclaimed. "I'm James!"

" James? Cute name aha, so what class are you coming from? I just came from a potions class"
She smiled brightly.

James started to pick up a pancake, but dropped it into his cup of orange juice when he heard Ani say, "Cute name aha, so what class are you coming from? I just came from a potions class"
James let out a yelp of surprise as the orange juice splashed out onto the table and quickly tried to grab some napkins in an attempt to soak up the mess.
"W-what? Classes? Wait, classes have started!?" he stuttered out, his tone suddenly turning fearful.

 Ani giggled and pat his back. Laughing so hard she used her other hand to grip her stomach.
  " Yeah yeah! But it's okay it's only the first week, the teachers wont mind i'm sure! If you need I could walk you to your next class to find after you eat. I wont mind helping you." She giggled more under her breath. Ah hes a funny one..not much of those here anymore aha. She look towards the door and back at James smiling. " You really need to work on where you'd let stuff splash buddy. Ahah, and don't sweat it..you wouldn't be the first to forget about classes! " For some reason she used her arm to cover her face for a bit, then removed it nervously smiling as she faced him again, removing her hand from his back.

James shook the orange juice off of his hands a bit, letting a few droplets land on the floor.
"Wait, what classes do I even have? What classes even are there!? I don't know anything about this place!" James exclaimed with realization, still panicking and not realizing Ani covering her face for a moment.
James ended up wiping the bit of orange juice left on his fingers on the bottom of his robes nervously as he let himself be led to his class by Ani.

She started hopelessly laughing hysterically leaning on James. “No James it’s okay! Hahah! Ah..just follow me to class,you can join mine, I’m not really sure we have certain classes in an order but eh what do I know? Come on!” Ani grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the chair and to the door. “OFF TO CLASS!”

James grabbed his bag as he was pulled away by Ani.

"Yeah, see you later!  Wait- Eh? Charms?" Serena replied to Katina, as she watched the girl rush out...  It took a few more seconds for this information to process.  Ahhhh shoot!  Classes have started?! Serena internally groaned.  She had no idea where she was meant to be or that they had even started.  And damn, she had barely even touched her food.  As she groaned, she heard a young boy and girl nearby have the same conversation.  Apparently the girl had come from a Potions class too...  How many have I missed?! How did I even do this? Sighing, she downed the rest of her juice quickly and grabbed some of the toast to eat on the way.

Getting up, she quickly grabbed her bag and made her way out of the Great Hall.  There had to be somewhere she could go to figure out her schedule, right?  It shouldn't be this difficult, surely?  I mean, all of the other first years seem to have figured it out.  There had to be a schedule somewhere - or at least someone she could ask.  The boy and the girl nearby her had ran out before she had a chance to stop them so she decided just to figure it out for herself.
