A Place Without Summer
WC: 246
Irene never thought she would come here.
Somewhere in the Austrian Alps, the old castle stood out for its loneliess and coldness. Irene shuddered.
The slogan "For the Greater Good" was carved over the entrance, moss and grass now growing all over it. Irene did not think she would be allowed in there, she didn't even think anyone would let her come any close to this place.
Irene sighed.
She repeated to herself.
Appearently Dumbledore gave him the idea.
Ever since she read 'The Life And Lies of Albus Dumbledore' and heard that her families where supporters of Grindelwald's, she wanted to go to Nurmengard, to visit the place where the last person who knew this story might still live --- that was, until the news of Gellert Grindelwald's death. (She was not disappointed, of course, for it is merciful that the Dark wizards cannot continue to terrorise the world.)
It was said that Nurmengard Castle was built by Grindelwald to held his opponents -- yet he himself ended in there once Dumbledore defeated him. It really is, most ironic.
But she still looked at the castle in awe.
She had to admit the base of his idea was OK, wizards want to live in the opening, what's wrong with that? But he should have used not violence...it was rumoured that he had a silver toungh...
As the cold wind brush against her, Irene snapped awake.
Probably time to go back.....
OOC: I just ship them so much.
