Jessica moved quietly down the corridor, keeping her books tightly pressed against her chest. She was going to her next class when all of a sudden she heard a faint hissing sound.
She stopped.
As she looked around, her eyebrows became furrowed.
That's what she thought.
The sound occurred once more, though this time it was quieter.
Jessica nervously swallowed and kept on walking, telling herself that she must have just imagined it. However, after taking a few steps, she saw something on the floor.
A letter.
She bent down and carefully picked it up.
She wondered if this was going to be another of those mysterious letters all the people have been talking about.
She unfolded it slowly and started to read.
When she reached the last lines her expression altered.
Could it be that five go in... and only three come out?
Jessica looked at the words.
"That doesn't sound good..."
She flipped the parchment over in order to look for any other writing on it.
What reason would there be for someone to send this to me?
The parchment at once grew cold in her hands.
Jessica immediately dropped it.
That's for certain not normal.
She took a tiny step back and looked at the letter on the floor.
Then the hissing returned.
Jessica froze.
"Who's there?"
No answer.
Before she took up the parchment once more, she hesitated.
She really ought to leave this alone..., she thought.
But her curiosity won.

After they were whisked into a mysterious place the hissing grew louder, and suddenly it stopped. A letter fell at Laura's feet, it looks like a riddle. Suddenly the place they were in turned into a maze. " Should we go in? Is there any way out? " Paisley whispered to the others. She looked around for some place which would get them out, but it looks like they were trapped.
" 5 may enter but 3 come out.." thought Paisley. But there were only four of them! maybe, maybe the owner of the hissing sound thought there were going to be five person who are entering the maze, or somebody else had gotten a letter too. Suddenly a girl were standing next to them. It was Jessica! Now there are five of them!
But first, the place was all dark and they needed light, so the five of them lighted their wands. " Umm guys, do you think we should tie us together or something?" Paisley remembered that in her pocket is a ball of yarn she had brought to knit, and since she won't be knitting right now, why not use that? But there's something else, Paisley had heard about the story of the minotaur or something and the person had used a ball of yarn to navigate his way around, so maybe they should use the yarn on that.
But, which way should they go? Should they go left, right or front?

Bella glanced at the four girls next to her. Tessa, Paisley, Laura, and Jessica. She knew all of them, of course, but not well. Not well enough to be considered "best friends" of any sort. But she wouldn't just give them up and run. Oh, no, she was going to fight! Bella usually wasn't one to yell or fight as the first thing she did, but it seemed like an appropriate response in this situation.
Glaring at the blank screen, she threw up her hands and shouted, "Oh, come on. Just tell us what we need to do to get us ALL out of here!"
The blank screen stayed stubbornly blank. In fact, all the previous words were erased as well.
"So what is the next step, huh? What would you do to the people who stay here? What DID you get accidentally accused of? What's your name?"
Blank. No response. Just as Bella was going to turn around to talk to the others, she saw gold out of the corner of her eye. Spinning around eagerly, she read the words, only to sigh, disappointed. The only thing on the board was:"What's It? Sure, I'm 'ready' for 'it'" Bella rolled her eyes, then gathered the other girls around, whispering quietly. "This is insane! Wow...if I wasn't so nervous this would actually be kind of interesting, at least for the first few minutes. But what should we do now? Try to escape? Stay? Finish the challenge? We are ALL going to go back to Hogwarts. There's no way two of us are staying here forevermore," Bella declared.Are You Ready For It?

I'm not sure if this goes against the Hogwarts lore or not because a friend of mine and I were doing a RP and we got OWLed that it was against the lore, and we had to rewrite everything. Laura looked at the screen and read 5ge message then she heard Bella screaming at the screen. These people were not exactly her best friends exept Jessica. So Laura thought even though theese people are nit exactly my besties there is no way 2 people are staying behind. Laura was exactly the person who would fight fir the right things and her friends. Niw Laura looked up at the screen and yelled " No one is staying behind what ever yoy say to us and what are we even gonna do you monster." Then words appered on the white screen. Are You Ready For It? What ever it would be they would survive with friendship. Then Bella beckoned to them and she whispered a few things. Finnaly Laura said " We stay and fight for what is right even if we are frightened and Bella you are right there is no flippen way anyobe is staying behind but we need the power of love abd friendship ok you dont have to be brave to do it. Suddenly right after she finished speaking the floor gave up under them and they fell down and were standing infront of a big maze. "Well i gues this is our first task. We can use the point me spell to find our way. And maybe we should tie us togehter any one got yarn or something.

She knew almost everyone in the group. Laura is her best friend, but Paisley is someone new among them.
"Well, that was certainly not what I had expected," she muttered.
She listened while Laura proposed the idea of using Point Me and looked at the ball of yarn that Paisley was holding.
In my opinion, the idea of using yarn is a good one; we ought to remain together and leave a trail, just in case the maze alters.
Jessica looked at the three paths lying in front of her.
"Left, right, or straight..."
She frowned.
Hold on a momentβthe first letter did give those exact directions. Perhaps it's a clue.

There was a weak click coming from somewhere deep within the maze.

She stepped into the maze hesitantly, the string around her wrist her only comfort. As they walked deeper into the maze, occasionally coming across a dead end, all was silent. Not a creature or a spell was seen, and the air was thick with tension.
Before Tessa could have a breath, something happened. A growl came from nowhere. It was loud but soft, a whisper but a shout. It seemed to be everywhere at once, trapping the girls in a circle.
Tessa stepped back, huddling close. She took a deep breath. Fine, maybe it would be scary, but it would be nothing they couldnβt overcome together. Finally, the creature appeared. She recognised it from a library book.
It was something with red claws and sharp teeth. Scales rolled down its back and it roared with anger. Tessa shuddered, she pointed her wand, and tried to remember a spell, any spell that might help her chances of surviving. Instead, the dragon spelled a riddle with its fire breath. In a moment, they were whisked away to separate places, where only the first 4 to solve the riddle could move on.

Laura followed Tessa and saw the dragon then the riddle out of fire appeared. What occures once in a minute twice in a moment and never in 1000 years. Then they all got whisked away but before they did Laura had given them each a paper where it said the letter M. Then Laura was standing well you could say a type of cell with a chalkboard and a piece of chalk in it. Laura immediately wrote the letter M on the chalkboard. She got whisked back into the maze with 4 people beside her. Then a hiss came " Since you all did it at the exact same time you will all pass. They went on through the maze. They arrived at the end of the maze and walked on into a big empty room. This time there was a big chalkboard that read Decorate the room as best as you can in 5 minutes. Laura walked to the magic box in the middle of the room. " We should make it a bedroom. Laura said loudly and clearly Loftbed and a Loftbed appeared. " Cool she exclaimed excitedly. She started urging the others to say stuff. They decorated till they were satisfied. Then the hissing came again next task you go Well done for sssssssurviving all ssssso long.
