Your RPG storyline idea: Ji-won needs a childhood friend who moved from Korea, or somewhere else in Asia, around the same time he did and also struggled to adjust to a new place and learning a new language. From the outside, people would wonder if they even liked one another at all with how cruel/mean they can be toward each other but they wouldn’t see it that way, they just see it as normal, if not a little mean-spirited, banter.

This person will not feed into Ji-won’s vanity and attempts, unsuccessfully, to make him gain some humility. They could meet each other through their parents becoming acquainted and thinking their children should meet and become friends. They’ll be close, basically like family, even telling people they’re family but not elaborating on how they’re related (because they’re not really related lol).

Basically someone who people think is Ji-won’s frenemy when in reality they’re the best of friends.
Additional info: Specifically Hogwarts students, pleasee!!!! This’ll be a friendship that spans over their years at Hogwarts. Ji-won’s family aren’t prejudice against halfbloods but they wouldn’t actively pursue being acquainted unless they have some sort of standing, politically or socially.
