“I don’t know if she can actually eat biscuits... I’m still learning though!” Grace smiled.
Elspeth explained to Grace that Jorah and Neculai were probably going to a different tent, but she didn’t know all the people in the team.
Grace nodded “It’s alright, when I joined I also didn’t know anybody here, but everyone on the team is so nice actually!” her smile grew some more.
She chuckled a bit when Elspeth said they were kinda like the Holyhead Harpies.
“True, my mother was actually a Quidditch player at school when she was a kid” that was one of the cool things about being Half-Blood, she knew things from the muggle world and the Wizarding world.
Cecily then walked into the tent, Grace waved to her “Hi Cecily!”
Grace yawned, she was so excited for summer camp she didn’t even get any sleep.
She rubbed her tired eyes and Biscuit fell asleep on Grace’s shoulder.
“I might take a nap soon” but she was so tired, she probably would fall asleep immediately if she stayed awake.
Grace got in bed, Biscuit still sleeping on her shoulder, and closed her eyes, falling asleep in almost a second.

Interacting with @Cecily Quinn @Elspeth Gollens @Aida Mòrsgor-Ama Ellwood @Grace Mint @Asteria KnightAh, summer. What a wonderful time indeed. No school, no homework and mostly no stress. Well, at least a whole lot less stress, though at this moment in time River experienced some stress and nerves either way. As she made her way across the ground of the tents, she realised that there were a lot of people, and that also meant a lot of tents. She didn’t really mind either of those, but she couldn’t help feel nervous about even managing to spot her tent in the crowd.
River had never been a big fan of camping. At least she’d never been a fan of the thought of camping, but she hadn’t ever actually gone on a camping trip her entire life. Not in a tent either way. And her first time of staying in a tent, will be among people who she cared about very much, but she still couldn't say she knew any of them all that well. It was the ravenclaw team, you know, the best team ever. This would be the perfect chance to better her relationships with many of her teammates, and that was something she was looking forward to.
With quick small steps she walked along, keeping her eyes open for any indication that any of these tents were the one she was looking for. Lo and behold, her eyes finally landed upon a familiar girl, Cecily. At least it looked like cecily, though it could have been someone else, as she only saw the back of her head as she walked into one of the nearby tents. Turning her walk toward the tent she walked on headstrong. If she walked in and the tent would be full of complete strangers the so be it. This was the only ent she could assume was theirs.
The ravenclaw moved the small cage containing her owl to her left hand, freeing her right as she reached out to open the doorway. As her eyes quickly scanned the inside of the tent, she sighed relieved to notice that it was indeed occupied by some of her teammates. Some of them had already found their bed of choice and started up conversations.
River stepped in, sending each of the girls a smile and a wave as she made her way to one of the free beds on the right side of the tent not too far away from Cecily where she carefully placed down her things. “Hey everyone”, she said to the others and sat down on the bed. “This is going to be one interesting summer”, she stated and leaned over to open the small cage and let the small red owl hop on to her hand. “Who haven’t arrived yet?”, by the looks of it they were still missing quite a few people. There were many more beds to be claimed. She was just thankful she didn’t end up being the last one to arrive.

Aida greeted everyone as they trickled in and thanked Grace for replying to her question. Aida found a top bunk and threw her leather satchel on top of it. Giving Grace's rat, Biscuit, a little scratch behind the ears she bid the girl good night. "Oh, and you won't have to worry about my friend trying to eat your friend... I keep her well fed," she added as an afterthought. But Aida had not brought a cage. What could she mean?
Of course that would be the moment that a mysterious wailing cry could be heard outside just prior to an owl wedging itself in through the door of the tent. Waddling a bit uncomfortably, the medium-sized owl with sandy coloration then launched itself into the air, heading straight towards Aida. It landed with a thump on Aida's arm, which she hand only just managed to sleeve in a falconry glove. The pale girl looked over at Grace, worrying that she had just woken the child who had fallen asleep quite fast. The owl followed Aida's gaze and quickly spotted Biscuit, but it simply circled its head in curiosity. Sleeping as quickly as Grace did could mean that her team mate was sleep-deprived, or it could just mean that she was very comfortable in this environment, but either way Aida did not want to disturb Grace's sleep unnecessarily. Even if Grace didn't need to perform in a game anytime soon, Aida still cared for the girl's health and could relate very much to sleep-deprivation. The tawny owl on Aida's arm was silent now, preoccupied by staring at the other owl in the room.
"Everyone, this is Scheherazade, like from One Thousand and One Arabian Nights. She also responds to 'ZaZa.'" Aida walked to the center of the group as to suggest for people to try to pet the owl or that they were otherwise free to interact with it. "She's a Desert Tawny Owl and she's claustrophobic like me, so she won't tolerate being in a cage."
