Mizuki has fully black hair and side bangs. She has soft cheekbones, hooded black eyes. She has a purple-ish birthmark below one of her eyes. She’s tall for her age and she is quite slim due to this but she’s not underweight. Her resting face looks quite annoyed, even though she is not and she has a down turned smile. It often leads to people thinking she’s annoyed at them and makes her seem rude. She loves experimenting with her style, this often results in horrendous or rather ridiculous outfits and looks that have kids staring at her. The clothes she wears act as a way of self expressing. She sometimes experiments with her makeup when no one is around. These are often very messy looking but she wants to get better at it.

She has sensory issues that often show in food textures and strong perfume smells rather than loudness. For loudness she loves listening to her music on full volume but unexpected loud sounds can make her overwhelmed. With food, she despises mushy textures in her mouth and especially hates mushy peas and pottages. If it’s around she calms herself with weighted blankets but if that is not possible she usually calms down on her own if no one is touching her, crowding her and there’s nothing triggering around. There are a lot of autistic individuals who have difficulty coping with big changes. Zuki is one of them. Moving a lot has caused her to get used to it but new environments caused some meltdowns for her in the past and they still happen. She has a hard time getting used to new smells and doesn’t navigate well on her own in new places. This improved a bit over time but she still forgets where she is sometimes and gets lost.

She is a bit awkward when communicating at first, but if people try to stick around more it becomes less weird. She struggles with explaining things and often overexplains them because teachers used to misunderstand her. She has a lot to ask if things are explained briefly but tends not to speak up as people used to say she asks way too much and they question why she can’t understand things. She tends to hyper fixate on things. These can last for two weeks to even years or maybe forever. In the past, she has been obsessed with ants - she learned everything about them, Kurt Kobain, instruments and even diseases. She learned a lot about it from her dad but the illnesses freaked her out so much and she felt so sad that people live with these that it soon became a phobia of hers. As of right now, she is still very passionate about learning to play on instruments and music is her comfort.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

She’s very retractive and vary of new people. She loves talking about her interests and is quite friendly once she begins trusting you. Her father is her safe person, she always goes to him if something’s bothering her. She misses him dearly while she’s at school. She loves playing the piano and adores singing. She dreamt about creating a band but since she didn’t have close friends this couldn’t happen. She often finds herself daydreaming and zoning out and only snaps out of it if someone makes her. She’s also a bookworm and is very knowledgeable but won’t speak up unless directly asked. That caused a lot of frustration in her muggle school with her teachers. She has a fox plushie she always carries around because it gives her comfort. Since she was a toddler, she was fascinated by worms and ants. She sometimes zoned out and just watched them move around, following them wherever they went, causing her to get lost a few times, making her father worried. She loves collecting things such as rocks and bones from the forest walks her father and her really love. Her father makes sure she knows what animal’s bone it may be and that if it is right to take it. She doesn’t take bones from animals that were obviously shot. She loves foggy weather, especially at night and adores walking around the neighborhood around that time.
