Family: Alexandra lives with two magical parents and has twin younger brothers (currently aged 6). Alexandra finds her younger brothers to be annoying, but she loves them all the same. She is closer to her father because her mother can be very unreasonable at times.
Both of Alexandra’s parents work full-time at the largest enchantment company in the UK, although they still leave some time for their family. On the side, Alexandra’s mother has also been taking some classes at the nearby university to see if muggle sciences might be able to relate to enchanting. The family moved to Britain from Belgium a few years prior to Alexandra’s birth for their job.
Her parents are not particularly close to any of her relatives, although they visit everyone at a winter reunion once a year. The relative she sees the most is her grandmother from her mother’s side, who occasionally visits. While her parents are not close to her relatives, Alexandra is friendly with all of her cousins, who see her as a younger sibling - after all, she is much younger than most of her cousins (5-15 years younger).
None of Alexandra’s parents or grandparents have gone to Hogwarts, although they would have most likely been sorted into either Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. Her family expected Alexandra to also go to Ravenclaw, or possibly Hufflepuff if not there, so the sorting into Slytherin was a bit of a not unwelcome surprise. Alexandra herself was expecting Slytherin because she can be quite ambitious and cunning at times although she had hoped for Hufflepuff as evidence that she might be hard-working - a very valued trait in her family.

Personality: Alexandra is a girl who tends to look quiet but can be quite talkative. She can also be very sarcastic at times. She tends to not have too many close friends but is friendly with everyone.

Pre-Hogwarts Education: Alexandra went to a muggle secondary school in Cambridge before her Hogwarts letter. At 11, she was already well on her way to completing all secondary school math and would have completed it in a year if not for Hogwarts. Outside of being very advanced in math, Alexandra enjoyed learning history and science in muggle school, especially because they were very different from the magical explanations she had seen.

Hobbies: Alexandra loves reading and can oftentimes be found curled up with a book on a couch at home for many hours. While she does not particularly love most sports (she only really likes broom racing and swimming), she is athletic. She prefers watching over playing, especially for quidditch.

Goals: As soon as she could, Alexandra has sought to learn as much as she can. Recently, after getting her wand, Alexandra gained an interest in wandlore and currently wants to be a wandmaker. She has previously aspired to be Minister for Magic, a professor, a healer, and many other professions which have since been forgotten.

First accidental magic: At 19 months old, after seeing some picture with a dog similar to her stuffed animal, Alexandra wanted to have the stuffed animal. Unfortunately, the family was traveling at the time and had left the stuffed toy at home because Alexandra had previously not shown much interest in it. Alexandra had started crying, wanting the toy immediately. Suddenly the toy had appeared, signifying her first sign of magic. Her parents, while pleased, saw her magic as something which was a given - they could not have imagined her as a squib.
