Another adventure in the library

Henry had a free period, he would have enjoyed the company of one of his friends but they all had a class so he was left alone which he didn't mind. Henry spent this time in the library reading ahead on advanced potions hoping to get ahead and he also had a unopened book on pureblood family histories next to him, Henry was hoping to read something about his family history since his father won't tell him nothing and his mother well can't, while occasionally looking up to see others laughing and talking with their friends.

"Can I sit here?" a red haired girl asked him while holding a bright blue books with gold lettering on it, Henry recognized it as a astronomy book one that he probably read before. Henry smiled at her while saying" of course, go ahead." Henry waved to the empty chair in front of him while smiling at her, wow I really have changed from first year maybe second year will be a better year for me, Henry quickly looked down and scanned the page where he was at before looking back up at the red haired girl and spoke" I'm Henry, Henry knight," Henry paused then gestured to her bright blue with gold lettering book and continued" astronomy? That book is quite interesting if I remember right." Henry continue to look at the red haired girl in the eyes as he thought.

I'm not nervous at all, this is new for me maybe being a second year gave me a new sense of confidence or something. Well whatever it bloody is I'm just happy I'm not nervous or panicking right now.

"Thanks" Margaret said pulling out the chair and taking a seat.
"astronomy? That book is quite interesting if I remember right."
"I really hope it is" Margaret replied "I think Astronomy's one of the worst classes. It's so boring, I just can't find the point. Oh wait what if he likes Austronomy she thought. "It's fine if you like it, of course, I like Herbology which is a weird class to like. Margaret added quickly.
I guess I should probably start reading, that is why I came after all She thought turning through some of the pages. "Do you like astronomy?" She asked while reading the first couple sentences of the book:

The book read, she read the first two sentences and decided she probably already knew everything this chapter covered and skipped to the next chapter and read a few sentences that were:

Before looking up to show Henry she was paying attention to what he was going to say next "Oh, I'm Margaret by the way" she said before he answered her last question.

"I really hope it is, I think Astronomy's one of the worst classes. It's so boring, I just can't find the point. It's fine if you like it, of course, I like Herbology which is a weird class to like." Henry watched as the red haired girl started to flip through the pages of the book before she said"Do you like astronomy?" Henry couldn't help but chuckle a bit, it's funny how she thought I would take offense to her calling astronomy boring, even though sometimes it is but somehow I still enjoy it like every other class, Henry smiled and was about to reply to her before she said"Oh, I'm Margaret by the way."

Henry smiled at the red haired girl named Margaret as he replied to her question " I like all classes but of course I'm just weird, astronomy is a bit boring but I still get top marks in it so I can't complain. Herbolgoy is interesting to, and it's not weird to like it I know loads of people who enjoy the class, me included." Henry smiled at her before returning to his book, which he noticed he was at the last page of it. Henry closed the book on advanced potions and switched it with the book on pureblood family histories, as he opened that book and begun to read he started to think, maybe I'll find something about my family history in this book somewhere.

After while Henry looked up at Margaret and smiled as he spoke" it's nice to meet you by the way, Margaret." Henry noticed she was flipping through the book quite fast so he spoke again " if you like to can read this, I already finished with it and found it quite interesting." Henry gestured to the book on advanced potions that was laying closed between him and Margaret.

"Thanks" Margaret replied to his offer "I'm not the best at any f my classes really, I guess I'm pretty average at potions but I might read it after I do more research on the classes I'm doing poorly in." He seemed to find lots of books interesting, much like Margaret who also liked to read "So you must be pretty good at your classes then? She asked, knowing that he probably did. You probably do better than me at least. She laughed. She wasn't really used to having bad grades until now. Usually, the worst grades she got were a C at the very least but she could usually get her grades up to a B by the end of each semester but now a C was her average. She was more disappointed in herself than anyone else was.
She was hoping that she wasn't talking too much Henry was probably just trying to study. She hated studying, she hated studying, probably because she didn't have to do it much. All she usually had to do was pay attention, she wished that she could do that now that she was at Hogwarts. Hogwarts was far more interesting and she could be hanging out with her few friends instead of being stuck here, trying to get the hang of Astronomy (being stuck in the library made her opinion of Astronomy even worse), at least she had someone to talk to so studying wouldn't be as terrible.

"Thanks. You probably do better than me at least. Henry couldn't help but chuckle a bit but also feel slightly sad also, he left is book opened at the last page he read before looking up at Margaret and smiling.

"I do well in all my classes, at least my friends think I do since I have all O's in them all but that's only because I enjoy reading and before Hogwarts that's all I did. Even now I still enjoy reading and do it whenever I can, what about you do you enjoy reading?" Henry smiled a bit and ran a hand through his hair, not worrying that he probably said to much as he continued "I don't think I'm smarter than you but if you'll like I can help you with a class that your doing poorly in, since I'm not studying or anything. I'm just doing some extra reading for myself, if you would like help?"

After he asked if she liked reading she nodded "I know that's such a Ravenclaw cliche but I really do like reading." She hated full-filling dumb cliches but this was one she didn't mind doing. she wasn't just going to give up reading because she didn't want to just be another Ravenclaw cliche.

"I actually wouldn't mind some extra help if you don't mind. I mean my father always says that teaching about a topic others is one of the best ways to learn because it shows that you actually know the material, so in a way, I guess you're also helping yourself." Margaret replied to his offer "I do need some help with my transfigurations, I got a D on the last assignment. Sometimes she failed an assignment but she always evened it out on her report card. "I just want to prove that I know it." She explained.

"What would you say is your favorite class? Margaret asked, smiling at him. She didn't really want to bother him about her homework or her classes she felt like if she asked him any of the questions she might be a nuisance so she just changed the subject a little.

"I know that's such a Ravenclaw cliche but I really do like reading," Margaret said which prompted Henry to nod at her while she continued "I actually wouldn't mind some extra help if you don't mind. I mean my father always says that teaching about a topic others is one of the best ways to learn because it shows that you actually know the material, so in a way, I guess you're also helping yourself. I do need some help with my transfigurations, I got a D on the last assignment I just want to prove that I know it." Henry smiled at her comforting at he spoke"

"What would you say is your favorite class? Margaret asked which allowed Henry to think for a while then speak" charms or care of magical creatures, well when I can take that class." Henry chuckled a bit before continuing " anyway you said transfiguration,
right? Do you want to practice casting or study the theory?"

Henry looked at her eyes and gave a reassuring smile as he closed his book while marking the page that he was on, before taking out his wand from his pocket and placing it in front of him on the desk.

"Charms or care of magical creatures, well when I can take that class." Replied Henry.
"Oh yes, I can't wait to take care of magical creatures. I already take charms and I'd agree it's a great class. Margaret said in response.
"any way you said transfiguration,
right? Do you want to practice casting or study the theory?" Asked Henry. As soon as he asked she realized she didn't really have any questions yet. She hadn't even looked through the questions. "Oh yeah, um let's see she said taking out her transfigurations homework. "Oh here, I lost the most points on this question:
Compare and contrast physics and Transfiguration. You should have at least two points of difference and two points of similarity in total. Include at least one point of difference or similarity between the two that you thought of yourself, not from reading the lesson." (Feel free not to actually answer this and just say something like "Henry answered her question, quickly and correctly.") The question had another sentence but Margaret decided that it wasn't really important to read it out loud since it mostly had to do with the formatting of the answer.
After he answered she just told him that she didn't really have any other questions at the moment and thanked him for his help. She smiled and flipped through some of the pages of her book.

"Oh here, I lost the most points on this question:Compare and contrast physics and Transfiguration. You should have at least two points of difference and two points of similarity in total. Include at least one point of difference or similarity between the two that you thought of yourself, not from reading the lesson," Margaret have said while looking at her homework, Henry lean over explain to her the correct answer and how someone can easily get that wrong. When he was finished, Margaret seemed to thank him and also tell him that she didn't have any other questions while Henry just smiled and reply modesty to her.

After a few minutes, Henry flipped back open his book on pureblood family histories and started to read but occasionally looked up at Margaret. I really wish my friends were so I wasn't alone because I do like to read, I also like to be with friend's but maybe Margaret will do. She mentioned she likes to read so maybe she'll help me out. Henry smiled at her as he thought about what to do and also about what to say, as he took his wand from the table and placed it back in his pocket inside in his robes. Where he the unbuckled the collar strap keeping his robes together and let them swing freely while he pulled on the collar of his robes, he did never enjoy wizard attire.

Henry turned back to Margaret while smiling at her and reply" If you finished studding then I would like your help. I'm trying to find some history of my family, I'm hoping at least one book will explain to me who they were since my parents don't mention them." Henry took a breath then continued" You don't need to help me but if you like, I certainly would enjoy your help and company."
