Birthday Party

Today is Paisley's birthday, and she is celebrating it in the courtyard with her friends, other people are welcome, too.
Holding a basket of lily of the valley, morning glory and some vines for the decorations and some candy and a bottle of lemonade, she arrived at the courtyard. Tessa, Bella and Nessa had promised to arrive early to help her decorate.
"I wonder when they would come?? " Paisley thought. She had also planned carefully about the activities there would be in her tiny notebook the week before. There would be icebreakers and some quizzes on papers for games. There would also be a teatime to chat and enjoy some food.
The quizzes on the papers would make her friends know her more and prizes if some of them answered all correctly. The prizes would be 20 Gryffindor badges and a pair of dazzling barettes.

Paisley finished decorating and patiently sat on a bench, waiting for her friends to arrive. She hopes everyone will enjoy her party!

Tessa smiled, she walked down from her dorm to the courtyard. It was her friend, paisleys birthday, and she had been looking forward to this for days. The party looked great. 
It was blue themed and had decorations everywhere. Seeing paisley seated on the steps, she excitedly rushed to her, clutching her present in hand. She had thought long and hard about the present and thought hers was perfect. She could not wait to watch paisleys expression when she opened it, but for now, it was a secret.
Paisley had also invited their friend, Bella and Nessarose, they weren’t here yet but were bound to come soon. The place was truly stunning. They had gotten the permission from the headmaster to decorate the courtyard. Cozy cushions littered the floor, while a beautiful cake sat on the table, there were even flowers and led lights.It was their first year at Hogwarts and paisley was a new friend. She was so surprised when she had received the elegant invitation, written in paisleys cursive handwriting.
Aside from the present, she had also brought snacks, chocolate covered strawberries were her favourite and she had meticulously decorated it in Paisleys favourite colour, blue!

Birthday Party
Laura had heard about Paisley's birthday party although she had not been invited she thought she would just pop in and give her the present Laura had got for her. The present would hopefully be enjoyed by Paisley. So Laura walked out into the courtyard holding her present that was wrapped in Paisley's favourite colour blue. The courtyard looked awesome. There were decorations everywhere and almost everything was blue themed. Then she saw Tessa and Paisley on the steps. She ran to them and gave Paisley her present she had thought a long time and had finally decided on something. She did not know if she would be welcomed so she said " I came in to give you your present." She looked around and saw all the cushions that littered the ground. She saw the pretty cake in the tableand all the flowers and even Led lights everything looked so nice. She had not gotten an invitation but wanted to give Paisley a present for she was friends with her. She had not only brought a present but also some Pumpkin Juice and fruit like watermelon and blueberries and she had brought some pineapple and mangos. Laura thought everyone would like fruit.

Birthday Party

Nessarose checked the invitation. It was at the Courtyard, not the Grounds. How had she gotten that wrong? Slightly shifting her grip on the gift she had gotten for Paisley, Nessarose changed course to the Courtyard.
It was easy to spot the party. Who could miss the blue decorations, and a large banner that clearly said "Paisley" on it? Nessarose smiled. Leave it to her friends to go all out! She placed her present in the pile of gifts, picking up a piece of paper which was the quiz that Paisley had set up for her guests.
"Happy Birthday, Paisley!" Nessarose called when the birthday girl was in her sight. She gave Paisley a hug and then joined everyone on the dance floor. Nessarose couldn't wait until Paisley opened her present. The two girls were really good friends. They had only known each other for a few weeks, but Nessarose had this ability to bond quickly.
When the cake was brought out, Nessarose grabbed only a small slice. This was most unlike her; usually half the cake would be gone before anyone else could eat. The reason was simple: Paisley should have the most cake. But then, when there were seconds, Nessarose went up and took her usual serving.
Birthday Party
Paisley was glad that her friends had came to her party and happy to get so many gifts!! If there’s one thing that would make paisley over the moon, it would be presents. “ I’m so excited to open those gifts, I wonder what they are.” She thought excitedly.
Paisley picked up a piece of her birthday cake and put it in her mouth. Yum! It’s her favourite ice cream cake which was blueberry and vanilla flavored so the cake is blue themed as well. She saw that her friends seemed to enjoy her party so she is very happy too.
“ Maybe I’ll have an open the presents session if that’s okay with them.” She thought. She asked her friends one by one whether they would mind her opening the presents in front of them. " i hope you guys wouldn't mind if I open the gifts in front of you all later on?" She asked.
Paisley then poured herself a cupful of lemonade that tastes really really refreshing! Then she popped a grape flavored candy in her mouth, ah, life is sweet!! While waiting for her other friends to arrive, Paisley sat on one of the benches to chat with the girls.

Bella hurriedly rushed through the Hogwarts hallways to the courtyard, her present and card in hand. Checking her watch, she scolded herself for being late. She had to stay behind because her professor was asking her a question, but that made her tardy to one of her friend's birthday parties!
She immediately spotted her friends at the Courtyard from far away. Colorful blue balloons fluttered in the breeze. The sunny weather made it absolutely perfect for a day like this. And as she squinted her eyes against the sun, she saw Tessa, Nessa, and Laura, as well as the birthday girl, Paisley, sitting just over the hill. She waved and ran over.
"Hey, guys! Hi! Sorry I'm so late. My professor wanted me to stay behind to ask me a question. But no matter, at least I made it! Happy birthday, Paisley!" Bella exclaimed in one breath, hugging her friend tightly. "Oh, and here's my present!"
Bella placed her present and card on top of the pile, the brightly wrapped box fitting right in with the mountain of gifts. "You are 12 now! One more year until you are a teenager, Paisley!"
She grabbed a snack, poured a cup of lemonade, and sat down across from her friends. She offered a warm smile to the group as she settled into one of the empty seats. "Did I miss anything?"
