"Huh?" Callie turned around to face the unfamiliar voice only to be greeted by someone who thought it necessary to bend down to her level to speak to her. While Callie knew she was hopelessly and irrevocably short the reminder of such a plight wasn't exactly a welcome one. Despite being barely five feet tall Callie liked to think she had the spirit of a giant! Her body was just yet to get the memo that's all. However Callie thought it would be rather rude to get all worked up over the gesture especially considering she didn't at all recognise the girl.

"hhi! You don't have to bend, don't worry! I don't mind craning my neck a little." Callie chuckled nervously and rubbed the back of her neck instinctively. "I have actually! Me and my parents always come here when we visit some family in London...it's a long way from Inverness so we thought may as well make the most of it right? Last time I was here I kind of...maybe...nearly tipped over one of the wax things..Figures! Wax figures, that's the word." Callie trailed off and opted not to provide anymore detail regarding the incident as even thinking about it filled her with embarrassment.

"I'm rambling, sorry! Have you been here before too? It's a pretty kooky looking place! Some of them are weirdly lifelike too...makes me think of that movie. What was it called again? Ah! Night at the Museum! You ever seen that?" Callie paused a moment before continuing her rambles. "Oh! Where are my manners! I'm Callie by the way, Ravenclaw!" She introduced herself with a wide grin whilst continuing to follow the crowd into the next room. As Callie walked forward she stuffed her hands into her pockets to avoid accidentally knocking something over. The last thing she needed was a repeat of the incident in front of a rather intimidating looking stranger.

Something caught Opeila's eye. Or rather a someone. Another Slytherin had entered the museum, making her way over to the science room. The last time Opeila talked to her was some time ago and about a quite serious topic. Then the Blossom Ball happened and Opeila was aware that Thora and Bridget had not abandoned the plan like certain others had. She had never thanked Bridget for it. Besides, the girls had never had a normal conversation. Maybe this was the right time to get to know her a little?

Three was a crowd, four was... well, more. And Opeila did not feel comfortable in it, she intended to seperate herself from it anyway.
"Alright then... There is someone I want to talk to, so I'll just um... Nice to meet you, Reid. And good to see you again, Lindsey, thank you so much for the brochure. See you around, May." She sent all of them a smile, although the last one was a little forced, before she walked across the room to her housemate.

"Hey, Bridget...", she said quietly, trying not to annoy any of the other visitors. "How are you? I haven't seen you since the ball..."
By now, Opeila just tried to avoid looking at the wax figures. They just really creeped her out.

Wow, Remi was funny. With a grin on her face, Rose replied, "I was probably named after the flower that grows on the thorny plants, rather than the actual thorny plants." She chuckled a little but to herself. "And what about your name? I'm serious, it's really cool, I've never heard anyone with the name Remius. Where is it from?" She asked curiously.
Remi then asked about squibs.
"Oh, that. So there is this book called the book of admittance and this will called the quill of acceptance. The quill only needs a whiff of magic from a magical child to attempt to write the name of said magical child in the book, but the book needs something significant, and will snap shut on the quill if it doesn't think that the Quill's reason is big enough. Then, near the beginning of the school year, someone checks the book of admittance and sends owls to everyone whose name is in there and is old enough to come to Hogwarts in the fall. So, yeah, there are no squibs at Hogwarts," Rose explained.
"As for my accent, it's from America. My mom is from America and we visit family in America a lot, and so I just... Kinda picked it up from her and it has... Stuck, I guess," she shrugged.
"Three older sisters?" she asked, a little surprised. Remi was the closest person to having as many siblings as Rose did that Rose had met (except for her siblings).
"What's your plan for the future?"
Rose had never really thought about it. "Probably something with animals. If not something with animals, then maybe I'd be an Auror. They're really cool. What about you?"

Selene pushed her sunglasses upwards to her forehead, revealing her turquoise eyes at the young girl. Selene nodded, standing up straight as she examines the freckled girl. "hi! You don't have to bend, don't worry! I don't mind craning my neck a little." Selene merely nodded replying back with a tiny smile. She had to mentally remind herself to try and be more 'sweeter' as her Aunt said to her through a letter. At least she's not using sugar-coated words, is she? She's not a stuck-up, flattery will only get you through the tip of the iceberg. "I have actually! Me and my parents always come here when we visit some family in London...it's a long way from Inverness so we thought may as well make the most of it right? Last time I was here I kind of...maybe...nearly tipped over one of the wax things..Figures! Wax figures, that's the word."

Selene looked around as the girl spoke, the sound of chattering and many other visitors admiring the insides of the museum. Some were very appreciative of all the work while others wanted to make it an unforgettable memory by taking pictures even if they were not yet inside the selfie-room. Of course, there were other types of visitors-one that Selene always hear whenever she and her whole 'family' decided to take a trip or attending an exhibition, the 'mommy I'm bored' kind of visitors. Selene finds it slightly irritating when one cannot appreciate the true meaning of art, but this time they were going on a trip looking through lifeless eyes, now she knows exactly what others felt when they can't appreciate art-only this time they were literally admiring other faces. True, it could very well be an unforgettable moment meeting your idol in a museum of the living dead. But the only person she admires with the beauty of the one and only famous Jennifer's Body actress will always be, Megan Fox..and the queen as well Marilyn Monroe, but the woman she fell deeply in love with the most as a child was- and still is, Sor Juana Ines De La Cruz, hence why she fell in love with her-for she knows that she'' create her own steps from the road the nun walked in. History is also, and will always be a product of her work. "That's very lovely, excluding the last part-hopefully nothing disastrous will happen. That last part was totally a lie who doesn't love catastrophe? Drama? Chaos? Oh yes, peacemakers exist, the word 'Hakuna Matata' suddenly clings to her as she remembers those kinds of people exist. She rolled her eyes."I'm rambling, sorry! Have you been here before too? It's a pretty kooky looking place! Some of them are weirdly lifelike too...makes me think of that movie. What was it called again? Ah! Night at the Museum! You ever seen that?" Selene continued to hear the girl's 'rambling' honestly, she didn't mind but it slightly became more annoying-however, the girl seems to be enjoying herself, so that's an exception-Selene knows better than to destroy someone's excitement..at times. "Oh, do continue-you might as well give me a tour of The Museum of The Living Death-" Selene said in a joking manner, but the school's tour was getting more boring by the minute. Well, some important figures inside were already dead right? Yet they look so, alive- it was scary but astounding. "Yes, I've watched it." Selene made sure that she herself was very careful of her surroundings as the continued to walk to the other room with the girl. "Oh! Where are my manners! I'm Callie by the way, Ravenclaw!" Selene waved her arms in a simple manner, her smile never fading. "Ackermann. Ravenclaws lover riddles and puzzles, yes? Wanna try guessing my house?" Selene introduced herself in a teasing manner, noticing the girl hiding her arms.

One by one each student went into the museum. Maya, waiting outside, was taking a bit longer than usual prior to coming inside after the children because she was waiting for her other chaperone. London was always filled with so much beauty and things to see that Maya didn't blame him for coming later. Maya, however, wanted to get started in touring the museum with the kids. She had a lot of information that she wanted to share with them that she knew and she could tell that some of them were getting restless.

"Please hold one adult ticket for @Boniface Murtagh MacTavish," Maya said to the front concierge. Maya guessed that Boniface would know to go up to the front to get his ticket.

Maya walked into the museum and followed the voice of students that should have made their way to the science portion of the wax museum. As she walked, she could hear some of the conversations happening between the students. While there are some gossip that is talked about between others, she enjoyed the talk about how "creepy" the museum was so far.

As she was listening, Maya scanned who was talking to who to keep friendships close. She had an idea that was to be played out shortly.

Standing next to Albert Einstein, Maya cupped her hands around her mouth. "Alright, gather around!" she shouted, hoping that she was slowly getting everyone's attention. Little did they know that a big part of this outing was to learn. It would be a waste of touring Muggle London if they didn't learn about it or even about the muggle world itself.

"I'm waiting for all ears," she said, pausing. Maya did not want to hear one voice out of place. She needed them to hear her for them to be able to participate. "What you see here are specific people in the world that have made a difference. For those of you who do not know, this is a wax museum. Madame Tussaud created famous individuals from scratch using wax 250 years ago, and it has been a tradition ever since. These are exact replicas of celebrities, scientists, historical figures and more," she began.

Maya crossed her arms and gave a small smile. "Now, your job is to learn all about them. While some of you may know more than your friends, that is quite alright. Everyone will be able to learn together. I will give you one clue, and, together, in groups I will place you in, you will search for your 'person'. Once you find them, come back to me and I'll give you another clue.

"Remember, do not touch anything and keep some of your knowledge to yourself," she hinted at them all, reminding them not to use any magic whatsoever. They were in muggle territory. Any student who tries to do magic outside of the Wizarding realm, let alone in front of muggles was going to have major consequences dished out to them. "And remember what you say and how you say things," she added as her eyebrows raised, hinting to the students that the use of saying "muggle" was a word to avoid as it is unknown to muggles themselves for it is a wizarding term.

Maya reached into her pocket and took out a few notes. She noticed that so far there were ten students with them. She knew there were to be more that were probably with Boniface, but for now, two groups of five would suffice.

"Group 1 will be @Reid Kovacs, @Opeila Seilun, @Lindsey Springhall, @May Moonstar and @Bridget Collins"

Maya handed Remi Yao the piece of paper for him to share with his group.

Placing the rest of the papers in her pocket, she shooed the kids away to explore the museum. She believed it was better to learn by exploration than it was to tell them about every little detail. It was important for them to find the answers themselves as life never hands over answers on a silver platter.

Well, it seemed like May had made a mistake. Thinking those drinks were all for Linsdey herself, she had asked the girl to buy some more. With a quick glance at Opeila, she picked up the delicious treat and listened to professor Galim as she asked for their attention.

May was too young to attend Muggle Studies class. But she was anxious for it already. The thought of knowing how witches and wizards thought about her blood made her think that it was interesting. The last class May wanted to take was Artimathy. The thought of all these problems made her shiver. When Prof. Galim finished, May rubbed her hands together. The thought of being partnered up with Opeila and Lindsey and her new third year aquintance was a happy thought. She looked at Bridget and remembered her from the scavenger hunt Katrina Walker had hosted just before the summer. She waved at her happily.

The time to look at the clue Reid had been handed over had comed. "What does it say?" she asked, happily. The thought of another riddle game was very exiting. May had always liked to play riddle games and think about what she had learned in both muggle and wizarding class.

When Reid told them the clue (and May read it herself) she rubber her hands together. Then, she frowned, in obvious deep thought. 'What can it be....remember history May...' then, it came into her mind at last. She had studied it in the third grade. Her teacher had always made his students study difficult history things so that they could be educated well in the history of the world. Meanwhile, May only half listened to what the professor said all the time. But no, she didn't remember. She looked at them. Hopefully Reid or somebody else would know the answer.

Bridget had not been expecting anyone to walk up behind her, so when a voice piped up she jumped. Perhaps it was just all the wax figures setting her on edge; she wasn't that consumed by her reading. Spinning around, the brief expression of fear quickly morphed into a smile when she saw that, for starters, wax figures hadn't started talking, and who it was. "Opeila! It's nice to see you again. I'm doing okay. For awhile I was pretty busy with final exams and all that, but it's nice to be here now, just... away from everything." By 'everything' she meant the hags and the fires and the curses.

Despite the memories the younger girl brought back of the disaster that was the Blossom Ball, it really was good to see her here. Bridget thought fairly highly of Opeila--she had a way of bringing people together, of coordinating everything from pillow fights to interrogation attempts. She did seem to be in a little over her head, at least back in April with Vladimir and all, but weren't they all? Hogwarts was a school in which mere curiosity could get you killed.

It would have been an excellent time to get to know Opeila a bit better, much like she now knew Flash, but then Professor Galim called them over. Well, later then. Making her way closer to the Muggle Studies professor as instructed, she waited for their directions. The Slytherin did not miss the reminder to act like normal non-magical people, not that she needed it. She was already used to switching between worlds, although she was sure some could use the reminder.

Maybe today still would be the day to get to know Opeila better, perhaps during spare moments in their search for specific wax figures, since they would be on the same team. Reid was also with them, along with May, who she knew from the Scavenger Hunt, and another girl named Lindsey.

She frowned slightly when Reid read off the clue (or whatever happens so she sees/hears it). Not in disappointment, but in concentration. Bridget did not know off the top of her head who this clue referenced, and it excited her. Perhaps some Muggle-borns would be mad at themselves for not knowing, but the fact she didn't know meant there was something to learn. A challenge to work at. "Well. Unless anyone knows who this is off the top of their head, I suggest we just start looking around. Perhaps there's a section for Nobel Peace Prize winners." That was logical. The best way to find an answer was to look for it, not just stand here grasping for knowledge they didn't possess.

As Remi saw Rose smile at his rather placid attempts at comedy and he returned the smile, maybe even wider as he was happy to make people laugh. It feed his social need to be at the center of attention, especially when he was the last child after a family of pure-bloods who know what path of life they were going to go for.
"My parents just, uh -"
Remi cleared his throat as he didn't think too much about the lore about his 'Remius' name,
"All great wizards have some -us on the back of their name. Like - "
He thought for a moment,
"Lepus. - No that's a name for a Muggle disease but trust me, All great wizards have -us on the back of their name."
He said, confident in this idea.
So, yeah, there are no squibs at Hogwarts,"
Remi snapped his fingers readily,
"Now that's an answer. A good one too."
Remi said, looking actually relieved with the answer. Taking a swift mental mote about the question she just asked before throwing out his answer,
"An inventor. Maybe make some new things for wizard-kind though... - I don't know what people need. People already make brooms, candies."
He said glumly about his own future plans, "But if that doesn't work out, I'll work with my father's friend who has an Enchanting shop: Maybe even make my own shop, but more of this era of more muggle devices and stuff out there." He said.
"But you'll make a cool Auror. I could never -"
One of the Hogwarts teacher's voice beckon all of the students, stopping Remi's train of thought as the Muggle Teacher said,
"Alright, gather around! What you see here are specific people in the world that have made a difference. For those of you who do not know, this is a wax museum. Madame Tussaud created famous individuals from scratch using wax 250 years ago, and it has been a tradition ever since. These are exact replicas of celebrities, scientists, historical figures and more,"
The lady continued as Remi was half-listening at this point again.

Muggle lore is so meh. With every muggle story, it was either the over imagination of magic or really, wizards who were there at the time who meddled.

That being said, however, his eyes gazed lazily over at his teacher of upcoming year as she was talking about teams.

The other team got their paper and Remi's team got their paper, who were mainly second years, which made Remi want to act like a second year as well. Not taking the time to look at the puzzle from this note, assuming it would be straight-forward.

Looking down at the note, he looked grave for a moment. The note only said, "Logan."
"Well, that's vague."
He said sourly before showing the others the rather cryptic note and whispered so the other team wouldn't have to listen,
"Any ideas 'cuz I sure don't have one."
Remi puffed his cheek, like the first year like he was as he looked for the older kids to help him out with this task. Hopefully as a team.

As Remi racked his brain for famous people that their names ended in "us" Rose offered, "Albus Dumbledore... Merlin... Gellert Grindelwald... You know. A lot of people..." she joked. She knew she was giving him a hard time, but he could take it.
"Aw, thanks," she replied when Remi complimented her essay-explaination. "I'm a bookworm who grew up with a witch for a mom, so I know about this stuff. I wonder if I can use that in an essay sometime on the future..." she pondered, then snapped herself back to reality.
Then she got put in one of two groups. Remi was in her group, but so was Selene Ackermann.
Really?
Selene had gotten "reveng" on Rose by splashing punch all over her sweater from when Rose (the klutz she was) accidentally bumped into her and spilled hot chocolate all over herself. She had apologized like, a million times, and hadn't gotten any on the girl's white nightgown, but Rose was still a little cautious around the salty Gryffindor.
Their group was handed a paper that said,
LOGAN
Remi, like Rose, had no idea what that was supposed to mean. "No clue," she confessed after racking her brains for a minute. "If no one else knows, I guess we could just start exploring and maybe we'll stumble across it," she suggested.

Tallis had gone to many museums in London with her parents before and so when she found out that they would be going on a tour for one, she was very excited. She was currently wearing a knee length purple dress with a black belt and pair of boots. her hair as usual over her blind eye, and excitedly entered the museum along with the other students. They were told to stay put and not touch anything and she heard a few of the other students groan. She didn't pay much attention to them as she looked around for a familiar head of messy brown hair.

Eyre had promised that he would go to the museum with her and she expected him to keep that promise. She looked around but the other students blocked her line of sight. This was one of the times that she really hated being so short but continued to look around. Eventually, she saw the Gryffindor boy and carefully made her way past the students, trying not to be tripped or trip someone on accident. She came up to the taller boy and smiled slightly, "Hello Eyre, I almost couldn't find you." She straightened her dress out and looked around, and continued, "I've been to a lot of museums but I don't remember ever going to this one," she turned back to Eyre, "Have you ever been to a muggle museum?"
