Wandering around- not allowed
Looking for someone -very active- to join
Kip was a first year at Gryffindor, sure, and sure she had been planning on following all of the rules, but..
With all the pressure, she couldn't help it-...
She had sneaked out of the Gryffindor, wandering the courtyard, kicking the rocks, leaves, and really whatever else was on the ground around.
"It's so much more peaceful here, by myself," Kip sighed loudly.
The truth was, in fact, with everyone around her, talking like there could be no worry in the world, laughing with friends... She kept getting overwhelmed-
Which, being overwhelmed and feeling small had made her get angry.
Putting her in a room filled with people, when she herself had no friends to join in talking with, was like putting a lion in a room full of prey that it couldn't catch-
Eventually it would explode- or implode, it didn't really matter much.
The warm air swarm around her, her Auburn hair slowly swishing back and forth with each step she took- Oh how she'd give to be back home-
Though, that seems to be all Kip had been thinking about-
The pros and cons were very simple-
Going back to her house meant facing her mom, facing her mom meant all of that emotion over, what? Being forced to apologize when her mother had been the one to say Kip would be the one to break family tradition and be in Slytherin?
She just couldn't get it-
Her family and her, though, both believed all Slytherins were unkind, rude, and..
..Yeah.
So, saying someone would go to the house of Slytherin instead of Gryffindor was basically a big insult.
Well, anyway, staying here meant being friendless for who knows how long, being confused, but..
Not having to apologize to her mother for doing absolutely nothing wrong.
Actually, Kip prided herself on thinking she had done nothing wrong, truly.
During this time of.. Well, fighting back against her mom spiritually..? Kip had kicked a rock extra hard, letting out a sharp hiss-
When the rock didn't make a loud 'ca-thunk!' noise against the hard, cold ground, only letting out a dull thud a few seconds later, Kip looked up in utter confusion.
Kip had hit someone in the face with a rock.
She wondered how the rock had even angled upwards, hitting someone in the face-
Couldn't they have just...
Dodged it,perhaps?
...
Kip stayed quiet, not wanting to be the first one to speak.
A soft hush fell over the courtyard..

Violet had gone into the Courtyard once again. She enjoyed the peace and quiet of those late afternoons. Hogwarts had a great view to the imponent Scottish Hills, it gave Violet inspiration, and a quiet tingling in her heart.
This afternoon was windy, but she decided to bring a book and read it anyways. "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" she read to herself the title. Vioet enjoyed. As she read, something came to her direction, hitting her forehead aggresively. A rock apparently.
After touching her forehead, and processing what had hit it, Violet looked up. A Gryffindor girl, possibly her age, was in the courtyard. Considering it didn't hit the top of her head, the girl must have kicked it on Violet's face.
The Hufflepuff just gazed at the auburn haired girl for a while. She had blue ice kind of eyes. When the Gryffindor looked at Violet, it felt as if shards of ice hit her eyes, forcing her to look away for a moment. She decided to speak up, after so much time of examination.
"Was that on purpose?" This girl was a bit rude, no one else was in the Courtyard, what was the probability of anyone hitting Violet other than the other girl?
"You could've said sorry at least" The Puff continues as the other didn't speak up. "Gosh, a person can't read anymore in peace" Violet mumbled to herself.
Although Violet was still mad at the blye eyed girl, she chuckled, not exactly knowing why. Probably because it was stupid to be bothered by such a small thing, but also because she had just been hit by a rock on her head, which probably affects people physically.
Violet looked away while touching her forehead and sighed:
"That hurt you know."
She awaited for the Gryffindor's reply, hoping she'd at least say sorry. This person seemed a bit shy or anti-social. Violet decided to have a bit more empathy, and assume she was daydreaming about something or someone.

Kip stood there, silent for a second, before her face flushed up, turning as red as a perfectly ripe strawberry.
"W-well, you should've been watching where you were going, then you could've dodged it!" Kip huffed defiantly, her two-pointed star clip sparkling from the tiniest bit of light.
She puffed out my chest, obviously not wanting to take the blame for.. Well, literally kicking a rock into someones face..
No one would, when they had the mentality of Kip. That was clear, of course.
....
"I-I mean, that rock was going pretty slow, to me!" She didn't even know the rock had hit someone until she had looked up...
Kip- didn't want to make a bad impression, but, in her mind, it was this person's fault for being in the way- mostly. She blinked, her hands scrunching up into fists- but not going into a fighting position, just staying by her side.
"Also, reading a book while walking? You are practically asking to stumble into someones way," Kip tilted her head upwards, her eyes closing in a weird way of confidence. Well, in Kips mind, if she started to back down, she would lose the imaginary fight she thought they were having.
And losing two fights- one to her mother, then to a stranger? She didn't like the sound of that. Not at all. So, it was simple- just make the opponent- which was the Hufflepuff standing a good distance away from her- irritated enough to leave.
'Surely, this'll work on her,' She thought to herself, assuming she was already halfway there to wining.
Though, Kip didn't know this tactic didn't quite work on everyone..

It started to get darker as the afternoon went on and on.
Violet listened to the girl quietly. She usually didn't get angry, but this was quite frustrating. Violet was almost gonna scream of anger. How is it her fault, the Gryffindor was the one hitting the rock!
The Puff took a deep breat before talking. If she had to deal with annoying people, she had to be at least calm.
"I don't know if you noticed, but your speech doesn't really make much sense." she paused "If a Beater was distracted, and hit a bludger without noticing the direction, it hit a spectator. Whose fault would it be? The Beater." she catched her breath and continued.
"Even if it was accidentally, the player should apologize, right? That's all I'm asking for."
Violet clenched her hand. She couldn't believe someone could be as childish as to not assume their error. Violet was infuriated with this girl's behavior. Besides what even is the problem with walking while reading? This girl clearly doesn't multi-task very often does she?
The Hufflepuff gazed down and took a deep breath, as if meditating after this unserious matter. She didn't want to come off a rude, Violet looked up and approached the girl, as they were talking a bit loud by the distance.
"How about we start over?" ... "Why were you even kicking rocks?" This was the most akwards thing that happened in Hogwarts so far. This afternoon couldn't get any worse.

Kip stared at her, baffled for a second, before going back to whatever she had going on before.
"Because kicking rocks is fun!" Kip huffed- though, of course, that wasn't the exact truth..
She took a step back, putting more distance between her and the girl, as if.. As if she was infectious.
In a way, she was.
If she talked more, got more riled up, then felt bad.. She would be doomed to softening up. That, of course, would not be the best thing. She didn't want her defenses to fall- especially not to a Hufflepuff.
And also especially not to someone who she accidentally kicked a rock into.. Imagine having to say how you met, when it was like this! She wasn't prepared for that- which meant that she wouldn't be doing it.
Easier said than done.
...
Way easier said..
Kip was holding in a sigh, inhaling deeply with a smirk appearing on her face. "Why are you being so sensitive, anyway? It's just a rock!"
From the moment she first opened her mouth, she knew something like that would come out. She mentally cursed herself, but, on the outside, it seemed as if this was her true opinion- she seemed to be unshakeable.
And selfish.
And rude.
Definitely, this was a bad experience for the two.

Violet just gazed at the girl as she spoke. Unbelievable. This girl was clearly selfish, but she also knew that she was doing wrong. She didn't even answer her question.
The Hufflpuff knew she had to leave this subject. The Gryffindor clearly was stubborn and would've even say sorry, and Violet usually just leaves this sort of mindless arguments, but seeing someone so bothered about her asking for a single "sorry" just got her nerves up.
After the opposing girl said her first words, she just baffled in disbelief.
"Kicking rocks is fun?" she said, pausing and slightly raising an eyebrow "Do you seriously think that?" Violet ended her phrase in a interrogative tone.
She listened to the girl, Violet, once again perplexed. The rock hit her face, and this Gryffindor had the audicity to say she was being sensitive. She was getting angry, but before she said anything, Violet let out a long sigh, before saying.
"Look, let's just leave this go. You clearly dont want to apologize, even if you know you hit me RIGHT, in the head." Violet looked at the girl in a disappointed way. This girl was just so unbelievable. She was the first rude person she had met in Hogwarts, outside of the local poltergeist.
She walked past the Gryffindor, glancing at her with a disappointing look, although a glimpse of anger could be seen in her eyes. Violet slowly walked to the door that lead back to the Castle, annoyed by what had happened.
OOC note: lol no worries i also didnt have much time and we also have different hours, it was nice to chat with you, if you want u can close the chat, if not then just reach out or somthing
