Death of a Loved One
Grace was sitting in the corner of a random classroom, crying a lot.
Her bright blue eyes were red and puffy, she looked like a mess, her dirty blonde waist length hair wasn’t brushed for days and she wore a large hoodie that said: “It Hurts” and sweatpants.
The reason she was crying? She had lost a loved one, her dog Oscar had passed away, she got an owl a few days ago.
Grace remembered everything about her Border Collie since she had got him when she was a child.
He was a beloved dog with lots of energy, he was black and white and big, with beautiful brown eyes
Grace has been crying almost all day since she found out, and she did feel lightheaded from al, the crying but she didn’t care, all she could do was cry until her heart healed from this sadness.
The tiny girl was curled up in a corner now, hiding from students and professors.
Grace’s body trembled as she cried, wiping her tears with her hoodie that she has been wearing for days now.
“W-Why...?” Grace squeaked, finally saying something out loud, but only to herself.
Grace usually doesn’t talk much, but being this depressed made her cry hysterically.

Death of a Loved One
"Chocolate?" Margaret asked softly and kindly, holding out one of those small Hersey's bars of chocolate. She carried several things in her bag in case someone needed them (such as breath mints and a scarf or gloves during the winter or tissues and sunglasses in the summer and spring). Usually chocolate made people feel better, it's not like it could make things worse. She usually pulled them out when she didn't know what else to do or if she didn't know the situation. She couldn't let someone sad just cry it out, she wasn't one of those people who just passed by sad people because they didn't know how to help.
She had heard the cries from up the staircase, that was hardly ever used except for by Margaret when she liked to be alone. Occasionally she would ee someone else. She didn't know what was going on but she wanted t help no matter what she had to do.
She sat down on the steps near the bottom, close to where the other girl was. "What wrong?" Margaret asked sympathetically. She would wait as long as she had to to try to make the girl feel better, no matter how awkward she would feel, sitting there with an outstretched arm offering the girl a small bar of chocolate.

Death of a Loved One
Melissa was going to the library when she heard crying. It actually wasn't the first time she heard it though. A few days ago, she was going to the great hall and she heard the crying. She didn't bother to see what happened because she thought she was paranoid or something. I should probably go check it out... Whoever's crying must have been crying for days now, Melissa thought. She went into the classroom when she thought the crying had come from. She was right, but there were two girls, not just one.
One girl was crying a lot. Most likely for days. Melissa knew because of her puffy eyes, tangled blonde hair, and sweater that was covered with tears and snot. The other girl was offering the first girl with some chocolate. "Hey, uh, are you guys alright?" Melissa asked. It seemed like a very dumb question at the time because the girl was not fine at all but what else could she have asked?
After seeing the girl, Melissa thought of her own past. She also cried for days when her mother died. She just couldn't bear the fact that her very loving mother had died. Sometimes, Melissa would blame it on the Hogwarts letter she got the very same day. She would think of reasons like, the owl that sent the letter probably got in her way or something...
