He had known that an event called 100 days before Christmas would be held at Hogwarts, and had not hesitated to sign up. If there was one thing he loved, it was crafts. It was even better when it became known that it was about making different kinds of Christmas ideas. Remembering that when he was signing to be part of it, and that it was going to take place in the Great Hall. Once he arrived, the first thing he could perceive was the familiar aroma of gingerbread, making memories come to him when he was at his mother’s café and used to help her make cookies. He was looking at the tables with interest, trying to make a decision about what he wanted to start first. What if I start first with letters and leave the cookies for last? That way, I can relax while enjoying eating the cookies. He thought to himself. He walked to the table where the card section was, and seated next to a boy. Starting to examine the table, he started by picking up an empty letter and was trying to get his head around, wanting to get an idea of how he wanted the design. It wasn’t an easy task because Hendrik had so many ideas. What if I made several letters with different designs? So he could send several people he knew, even his favorite customer who always came to the café.

With several ideas in mind, Hendrik began designing the paper. He painted the edges with red and green colors, creating a frame. First he wanted to make a test design to see how it looked before starting to decorate the envelope. With the tongue poking out, he kept a focused expression while coloring the card. Once finished, he was examining for flaws but couldn’t find any. Feeling satisfied, he was looking for some materials to decorate “It would be nice to add red.” muttered to himself, taking several red pieces. He began by drawing the face of Santa Claus in the center of the envelope, and added red glitter just at the edges of the clasp, ensuring it hadn’t been overdone. Being focused, he ended up distracted by looking at one of the designs of other students, until he remembered that he had to finish. But he had become so distracted that he forgot he was designing. Until he could remember what he had been doing, he decided to write a letter. There were to be several for several people, although the first two letters were to be addressed to their parents. The third was for an old woman who visited the café and brought him cookies.

Dear Maman,

Hogwarts is amazing! I never thought it could be a great place. I’m looking forward to spending my first year here. I admit I haven’t made any friends yet but I’ll do my best to make them. I wanted to thank you for sending the cookies, I really missed you. I didn’t take long but I’m a bit confused. It’s all so big! And many unknown faces! I like some classes. Do you know that I’m from Hufflepuff now?!! It’s a good house, and they have welcomed me in the best way possible!

I’ll tell you more things. You’ll get a letter every week. Promised!

With love, Hendrik
After he finished the letter, he stood up for a moment from the table to look at the one with the cookies, feeling hungry at that moment. He saw several cookies scattered around the table but decided that it would be a bad idea to take it, as it would be considered bad manners. And maman never raised me to be a bad boy. He thought, the next thing he did was to make a pout, going back into the envelope and tried to finish decorating it. He added a drawing of a reindeer in the right corner, and a pair of ornaments as decoration. The result was wonderful, and he slid the small letter that he had dedicated to his mother in this envelope. The next challenge was to make the letter for his father. Knowing his papa was muggle, he wanted to do something that might think magic was cool. An invisible light bulb lit up above his head, having had a great idea. He drew a picture of Santa Claus with a bag of cookies, hoping that it would be good enough for some teacher to help him by doing a little trick to make the figure of Santa appear dancing while eating cookies. It was a great thing, but he hoped to be able to make it happen.

Christmas rolled around in Hogwarts much earlier than he thought, and Philip was practically hyped as he saw the announcement. While the "100 days" in the title reminded him how long he still had to wait until the real Christmas Day, he was still passionate about the whole thing, and Philip wasn't going to let such an opportunity slip away. Just think how surprised they would be when they received a Christmas card...100 days earlier! Philip smirked to himself as he walked down the hallways. Aww, if only he could see their expressions.

The Great Hall was in a wonderful festive mood as he approached, and Philip couldn't help but hop up a bit to try to catch a glimpse of it before his entry. Christmas had been celebrated as one of the major holiday events in the Rosser household even after his mother's decease, and Philip was no stranger to it. Not to mention that the smell of cookies actually felt a bit like home. He inhaled deeply as he finally made his way in, putting much effort into keeping himself in check and not heading towards the cookie table. First, cards.

Frankly speaking, writing and decorating cards were an equally pleasant task. Philip picked up an unwritten card, promptly sticking a gingerbread man sticker onto it - oof, not bad. He adjusted himself to be better seated, and started working on attaching the laces to the edges of the card. He wouldn't say that he was especially artistic or fit for such jobs, but Philip soon finished decorating his very first card, and started writing.
Dearest Lev,

Merry Christmas! Well, I guess you'd be shocked. You should! Smart as you are, you'd certainly know what day it is today. You have three seconds, 3, 2, 1 -

Yes! (I don't know your answer, but I suppose you've got it right because you always do.) It's 100 days before Christmas!!

Hogwarts is okay. I've written so many letters so you obviously know everything, but like, still. If we don't talk about the sorting part, I'd say Hogwarts is a lovely place. Hufflepuff has nice sleeping dorms at least. Anyway. I guess I'll leave those to my next proper letter. For now, it's CHRISTMAS!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

How's your brewing going? Have you invented something new? Do let me know. I miss you so, so much. If only you were here... Thank you, for everything. I love you a thousand sprigs of Dittany, as always.

Your favourite, favourite brother,
Phil

After finishing the card to his brother, Philip moved on to the second one. Decorating it with Christmas tree stickers and sparkle glue, he began working on the contents, this time for his father.
My darling Papa,

I miss you so much! How's work? And honestly, where are you right now? Will you be home for Christmas? I know it's kind of early to ask since it's still 100 days away (that's why I'm sending you this card!), but I do want you home this year. Could you arrange it with your colleagues? Pleeeeease. It's been so long since I've last seen you and Levin! I miss home. I miss everything.

Early Merry Christmas, I guess! I know you have suspiciously short breaks, so I won't bother you anymore, and you can go back to work. Do take care! Don't hurt yourself. Just wanna say that I love you so much, Papa, and thank you for all you've done for us!

Love you lots,
Phil

And of course, he was not done yet. Tucking a candy cane into the side of his mouth and contentedly licking on it, Philip reached for another card. As sweetness bloomed on the tip of his tongue, he soon made up his mind that he should make this card candy-themed. Philip put a few candy cane stickers around the card, then stuck red and white ribbons all over the four edges. And an attempt at drawing a cane using sparkle glue... Philip beamed as the plain card began to look good. Picking up his quill, he started working on a card in Japanese for his cousins @Hayato Ichiyagi and his brother Hizuki.
Dear Hayato and Hizuki,
He thought for a good while about how his cousins' names were written in kanji, before finally coming up with them. Still, he had probably missed a few strokes because they did not look exactly right. As Philip was busy examining the characters, a voice startled him. He made an effort to locate that blunt voice coming from his left, and turned to face the intruder.

"Pardon...?" It took him seconds to realise what the auburn-haired boy had been asking earlier. "I'm writing a card, obviously." He replied, confusion emerging on his face. "And who's paying me? Why would you think that?" Philip made a gesture to the cards he had already finished and were ready to send. "Of course not!!!"

"I've seen you before. What's your name again, if you please?" He had a vague idea of the boy's name as they had apparently shared a classroom for the last two weeks, but Philip wasn't sure, and plus it would make him look weird if he just spoke the name out loud like a stalker. "And well, maybe you are right." He should have been offended by the incorrect accusations of bribery, but all of a sudden Philip was starting to think that the boy had a lovely point. "They sort of pay me with sweets." He said a bit nostalgically, and licked his bottom lip.

"Hey you - do you want a card also? I'm good at card writing." Meeting the boy's brown eyes, Merlin knew why he offered to write a card for his random housemate from the house he was not supposed to be in, and decided to temporarily put his card for his favourite cousins aside just for this. "You don't have to pay me anything."

𝕾ilver bells chimes. Reindeer neighed. Snowflakes fell. And the child of death ventured forth. Silence and winter chased down the warmth. But no amount of silence and bitter coldness can engulf the great hall in its wintry embrace. The child entered through the doors of the great hall. The spirit of Christmas attacked the girl. Truly, such an event should not fascinate her. Seeing that she is the child of the dark. However, the idea of trying to make her presence less miserable for her friends seemed enticing and, she decided to make something. Especially for her, Estella...she deserves someone much better than this miserable lump of darkness. She had brought a bunch of possibly useful items with her to help in card-making.

She ventured further into the great hall after greeting @Ebony Vetra in the entrance. She was a kind sixth-year prefect, who was also Ravenclaw's Quidditch captain. Someone Marcella wished she had befriended a lot earlier. After all, Ebony would be graduating soon. Everyone inched away from her now. Everyone except for the kind prefect and her few friends...and Estella...Why did she have to be so kind? Kinder than everyone else?

She approached the station where @Jrue Peterson was standing.

"Hey Jrue, how are you?" she inquired politely.

After a quick chat, Marcella moved on to sit next to a kind Hufflepuff boy, greeted him and started to make her Christmas cards for her best friends and friends Estella, Clark, Chatt, Evander and Elara. And also some for her family and her favorite professors.

First, she started with @Estella Cain's one.

Before the incidents that happened last July, Marcella had bought and made many trinkets for her friends. She had bought the book 'Six of Crows' for Estella, a new set of playing cards, and a ring. She also painted a picture of Estella on a mini Canvas. She decided to start by taking an envelope and decorating it. Then she made an accordion zine about what she means to Marcella. She drew and made bookmarks, stickers and little comic strips. She decided to draw another portrait of the two of them. And finally she made her card; she cut an A4 sheet into a heart and glued lace all around it. And wrote 'Merry Christmas' in a fancy and neat script.

and finally inside it she wrote:

" To my evening star,
how shall I explain every grain of my thoughts to you? How can I? When the moon does not speak out loud to the yearner? When the sea does not comfort the griever? When the land does not embrace the buried? Oh but I know. I shall explain in the way the sky cries for the land. The way the moon chases the sun. The way the clouds run for their lovers. And the way the stars glimmer in your eyes. My dearest star, I thank you for your existence in my miserable existence. Will I ever be enough? I doubt. Will you ever be less than a goddess? I doubt. Will you always be my evening star? I doubt not.

Happy 100 days before Christmas, my beauty,

your moon "

She put all of that in a thick decorated manila envelope.

Satisfied with her creation and a bit teary as she had just realized how much she loved and missed writing to her loved ones, she moved on to making @Clark Stellan's card.

She had bought him the book '', a huge set of rings, a fruit bat plushie, a handmade ceramic mug and an autumn themed tie. Along with all that she had made him a crochet bear, various bookmarks, handmade rings, a mini portrait of him, a beaded bracelet, crochet star shaped crochets and a vintage watch.

She decided to make him a mosaic designed bookmark with the little bits of colorful plastic she collected for this very purpose. And then she drew a picture of the two of them. She had also bought him chocolate frogs and Bertie Bott's Every flavor beans. And finally she made the Christmas card.

inside it she wrote;

" Dearest silvermoon,
In every autumn leaf, every ornate ring, every one direction song, every moon phase and every star I see you. I see you in the color blue. I see you in the flower dahlia. I see you in every cloud. I see you in every twinkle of the star. I hear you in every song. And I feel you in every season. Your presence is a mystery, I am yet to unravel. And your grace a history, I witness every day. Oh dear Clarkie, what good deed did I do to deserve you? I will never know. Do I deserve you? I will never know. But do I love you? I will always make sure you know.

Happy 100 days before Christmas, my sun,

your star "

She took a cardboard board to fit all her gifts for him into it, and decorated it. She looked proudly at her creation. The first few scrapes of positive feeling scratched her soul. Despite the wrongness of it, she smiled. A pure one. For this once.

And then for her favorite Ravenclaw @Chatt Auclair, she took out the items she had made and purchased for him.

She had bought him the book 'Pride and Prejudice'. It would be a good read for that cat.

And she had purchased a mini cat plushie key tag, vintage wristwatches, a Balenciaga woolen scarf. She had knitted him a dark blue sweater with a pixel kitty on it. The cat references were definitely on purpose. She made him a spiral zine with all their memories and all the poems she had written for him. She made a cassette with all his favorite vintage songs and a Walkman to aid him.

Sitting at the table, she drummed her fingers as she thought about what to do with Mr. Noir. YES! She decided to make him a charcoal sketch of Paris and a portrait of Chatt with France.

She quickly got on to writing his letter.

" Dearest Mr. Noir,
Sometimes they say its better to be alone. And sometimes I fear you might agree. If you do, how will I ever be able to bug you? But either way, whether you agree or not, I will always annoy you. Its how I am with you. And its how I will always be. Even if you agree, I'll still annoy you with cat references. Even if you agree, I'll still throw Talia at you. Even if you agree, I'll still spook you with poems. Even if you agree, I'll still chase you like a bludger (the totally non-violent one of course). Whatever you do, you aren't getting ready of me. Ever.

Happy 100 days before Christmas, my kitty,

your William Shakespeare "

She placed his gift into a white color mail envelope.

She decided she'd better speed up her process so she can get to the cookie making station faster. She took out the gifts she had gotten for @Evander Harvey Beauchamp and laid them out on the table in front of her. For her favorite confident, she got heart shaped chocolates, a poetry book, color-changing ink, a sawn feather quill, vintage bracelets, a painting of the both of them underneath the beech tree, a comic strip of their first meeting, a locket, a collection of artistic ties, and a crochet frog.

She had bought him the book 'To Kill the Mockingbird'.

And soon she started on his letter;

" Dearest Boba,
I remember the first time we met. The first conversation we had. The first book we shared. The first song we heard. The first walk we walked. The first painting we painted. The first fight we fought. The first difference that set us apart. The first conflict that pushed us together. The first visit we had. The first meal we made. The first video we made. The first picture we took. The first story we wrote. The first place we hid. The first class we skipped. The first star we gazed upon. The first time we ran a race. We have so many firsts and forevers with each other. Many memories I will never forget and will always hold close to my heart. You will always remain my best friend. My darling prince. My handsome best man. And one of my favorite Gryffindors. With all the love in the world, I declare you my servant for eternity :P

Happy 100 days before Christmas, my idiot,

your tormentor "

She giggled as she finished her letter and packaged his gift and set it aside with the rest. Finally she decided to do the last of her Christmas gifts for her friends. Her gift to @Elara Blackthorne-Vale. Her cousin. Her sister. Her comfort space. Her little gremlin.

She had bought her the book 'Sense and Sensibility'.

She had purchased diadems, little vintage jewelries, ring watches, bookmarks, ceramic figurines, watches, hair clips, lipstick made in the 1950s, a snail mail package, a Lego building set, beaded bracelets, arm cuffs, a book on quidditch, chaser gloves, journal and a peacock feather quill. And a secret gift and letters for all her moods and different seasons.

She took a parchment and set to writing the letter for her little sister.

" Dearest little bug,
as annoying as you are, I love you. I love every time we hide from our parents. I love every time we buried our fathers in the beach sand for fun. I love every time we threw snowballs at each other. I love every time you'd comfort me when I'd cry. I love every time you'd try cooking and make a mess of the kitchen. I love every memory we made with our grandfather-
" she paused and wiped a tear from her eye. " I love every laugh we laughed. I love every shape in the sky we saw. I love every time you'd let me sing you to sleep. You'll always be my baby sister, Ara. No matter how old we grow and no matter the mere months we were born apart. I love you and that's my promise.

Happy 100 days before Christmas, my goblin,

your older sister "

Marcella set all the gifts inside the package she made for Elara. She sighed as she finished all the gifts for her friends. She had already sent the gifts and letter for her family the day before. So she simply wrote a daily letter to her parents, her paternal grandparents and her maternal....grandmother. She took out the gifts she had bought for her professors - @Katherine Townsend, her charms professor, and @Lesmana Asmaralaya, her potions professor.

She had bought them some books, journals, chocolates and tiny trinkets. And quickly got on to writing them their cards.

" Dearest Professor Kitty,
You've charmed me the very first day I walked in to your classroom. With every activity, lesson and spell. I hope all the years to come will be bright as mine when I get to learn with you. I hope you will be happy forever professor.

Happy 100 days before Christmas,
Your student,

" Dearest Professor Asmaralaya,

I hope every year that greets you to be a happy one. I hope every door that opens is a great one. I wish you happiness, love and success in life professor.

She placed the letters with the gifts respectively and put them all aside. She asked Jrue whether she can keep her gifts here until she is able to come collect them.

She stared with pride at all the gifts, letters and handmade things she had finished making in the past hour. Now finally she could make her way to the cookie decorating station, overseen by the Ravenclaw prefect, Ebony. She looked over and checked whether everything was right with her gifts. She felt kind of stiff and stretched to ease the discomfort.

She looked to her side and saw that the boy who was working on his cards had also finally finished it. "hello again. Would you like to keep me company in the cookie decorating station?" she asked him in the voice she kept to use on new people she had not interacted with. Her voice was slightly rough with disuse and her tone a bit gruff with the lack of practice. She smiled softly at the boy to put him at ease. She was delighted when she realized that she had succeeded in putting forth a decent smile instead of a mechanical one which lacks in all the appropriate emotions. After listening to his response and responding appropriately she decided to go.

She quickly got up from the table and with a wave to Jrue and she made her way to the other station.

Autumn was Locket’s favorite season. What was not to like about sweater weather, not too hot, but not too cold either, about the multicolored leaves so prettily decorating all of the trees outside, and school finally starting! She loved it more than any other season. As for the holidays, Halloween could not even compete with Christmas, for the girl. Sure, she liked to dress up in costumes, and eat as much candy as she could fit, but the Christmas spirit was just so warm and festive. The girl loved that people would get together, give each other presents and eat yummy food. How fun is it escaping the everyday routine to do something whimsy, and to meet all of your friends and family?! She also simply adored making presents - especially cards - for everyone and anyone she knew. That is precisely why she was so excited for today, September 16th.

Just as the school year had begun, Locket was keeping her eyes peeled when walking around the castle, trying her best to memorise all of the hallways, passageways and staircases, though failing miserably, as the castle seemed to be not as much of a building, and more akin to a living breathing creature, with a mind of its own, that always shifted and grew. But what do I know? Although something did come about from all these wanderings of hers, as one day she caught sight of a sign up sheet, pinned to the door of the Great Hall. When she neared to read it she saw that it was a sign up for a celebration of the 100th day before Christmas. What an amazing idea that is! she thought and right there at that moment hauled out her quill from her school bag and wrote her name on it, along with a little snowflake doodle - just because she was so excited.

When September 16th finally came, a day she’d been looking forward to, in the afternoon she made her way to the Great Hall, where she was met with three tables set up as different stations each dedicated to the most fun of Christmas activities and crafts. Locket wanted to attend them all, but knowing how long she would spend perfecting all the things on her craft, she knew that for now she could only manage to choose one. So, after an excruciatingly hard time picking, she decided to approach the card decorating table. An idea popped into her head to make a card for her family. Sure, she’d sent owls to them and told them all about her adventures in Hogwarts, but she also wanted to make something colorful for them, something that could remind them of her. So, without further ado, she listened to what the friendly-looking Hufflepuff told the group gathered around the table, and got to work.

Of course, she chose to draw her own card, as well as cut out some shapes and glue them to it. While she chewed on a candy she’d managed to snatch up in her mouth, she began her craft, with immense focus. When it came to gifts, and, really, crafts of any kind, Locket took them seriously. She folded the parchment that she’d taken in half, then proceeded to cut out little squares in the cover of it to be like little windows. She decorated the cover with a bunch of glitter, drawings, and stickers. She put on it anything that she could find, of course, if it looked good with the rest of it. Inside, she drew herself along with her mom, dad and sister - the whole family, lined up so that it could be seen through the holes that she’d cut out in the cover. Next to the drawing, that was also not left without glitter and stickers, she wrote down a little message to her family:
Dear Mom, Dad, and Clara,

I congratulate you on the 100th day before Christmas! May this time until Christmas bring you many colorful experiences, and never forget to sprinkle a little glitter on everything - makes it a hundred times better!

I hope the owls are getting to you well, maybe they’ve learned by now that our window sill is not a restroom.

With best wishes, your little catastrophe,
Locket.
She finished off the card with a bunch of doodles and even more glitter. By the time she finished a few hours had passed, but at last she was happy with the result. It was so sparkly and bright, and so ready to be sent to her family. She grabbed a handful of candy before saying goodbye to the Hufflepuff prefect, and anyone who sat near her at the table, with her next destination in mind: the Owlery, where she would be sending off her “Christmas” card right away.

Card making. Fawkes had wandered into the hall on the 16th to see the tables had been set up with various activities. The one she had chosen to do? Card making. Fawkes wanted to write messages to all the friends she had made in the last year and the people most important to her. She had made a mental list already and was ready to get right to it. There were a lot of people on it so she planned to just use the exact same card design for them all. Was it a bit lazy? Yes maybe it was. But she had a lot of people to get through and not enough time to personally customise each card.

She had picked out dark blue paper for the background. On the inside, she stuck plain white paper so she could write on it. She then used glue to stick a bunch of sparkles on to make them look like stars. Ideally, she would have liked to be able to wax seal her letters for some added flair but there wasn't any. Instead, she cut out small circles and drew the moon and star design of her seal on them. She would just stick them onto the letter as she sealed them.

Fawkes decided to first start of with her roommates. They had been an absolute joy to share a dorm with last year and she couldn't wait to see what they would go through together this year.

@Mikaela Hendricks
Dear Mika,

It's been an absolute joy being your roommate for the last year. I remember when we first met in the dorm. Both of us were talking about our families and though neither of us knew it at the time, we went through a lot together. Especially the Astronomy tower incident...... Thank you for finding me that night. Truly. Im happy we became roommates.

Fawkes
@Tina Carilla
Dear Tina,

OH TINA. How I've adored being roommates with you. The amount of adventures we've had together, the moments we've shared, I cherish every one of those memories. Thank you for being my friend this last year. I hope this friendship continues on for years to come!

Fawkes
@Riley Bluescar
Dear Riley,

Riley! I know we haven't interacted the most beyond our dorm but still. I've enjoyed your company and have enjoyed being your roommate as well! Hopefully we can do more activities together, who knows!

Fawkes
Right, those were her roommates done. She put the cards into envelops and glued them closed with the custom seals she had made. She then began to make a small neat pile in the corner with the letters. She would hand deliver these to her roommates after she was done writing her letters. The next on her mental list was her lovely mentee, the first year she had taken under her wing to learn how to duel.

@Marigold Wesley
Darling Mari,

I know its only been like 2 weeks since we met but truly you mean more to me than you realise. You're are like the little sister I've always wanted but never had. I hope over the next years we continue to be friends. I also can't wait to see how you'll become an amazing duellist.

Fawkes
Fawkes giggled softly as she added the letter to the pile. Now she was going to write letters to her closest friends. There was quite a few of them but she was prepared to write words for each and every one of them.

@Dido Bleaklane
Dear Dido,

Dido! I have adored our newfound friendship and I do hope it continues. Remember our first meeting at Angel's birthday? It feels like almost yesterday that it occured. Also has anyone ever told you how nice your hair looks? And your eyes as well. Anyways. Hope we can become better friends as the year continues!

Fawkes
@Cecilia Merrick
Dear Cecilia,

Cece! Thank you so so much for saving me last year from the lake. I dont know what would have happened to me if you hadn't been there. I do enjoy hanging out with you tremendously and do hope we can hang out more!

Fawkes
@Angel Dayes
Dear Angel,

Ah angel! I remember when we first met in the courtyard during the argument. Truly we have come a long way since then and have become fast friends. I do hope we continue to be friends for years to come!

Fawkes
@Aislin Darragh
Dear Aislin,

Aislin! Man we've been through a lot together. Im glad you're alright though after the whole.... incident.... I couldn't ask for a better duelling co-captain and friend. Im glad to have met you!

Fawkes
@Henry Holbrook
Dear Henry,

I truly could not ask for a better friend! It's been an absolute joy to hang out with you over the last couple of months. CTF was especially fun as well, remember the amount of chaos that happened during that match? Anyways I hope we continue to be friends through the years as well!

Fawkes
Well that was everyone whom she considered to be a close friend. Now she had to move onto her family. She quickly wrote out letters for her parents, brothers and some of her cousins as well. She would go to the owlery later to have them delivered but for now she focused on writing a letter to the latest family member who had joined hogwarts.

@Sylvia Savage
Dear Sylvia,

Syl! You've finally joined Hogwarts as well! I do hope you're enjoying your time here. Remember, you can always come to me for anything I'll always be here to look after you!

Fawkes
Whether or not the girl would actually read the letter was a completely different question that Fawkes had no answer to. But then again, it was the thought that counted right? Perhaps her cousin would simply be thrilled with the pretty card. Either way, Fawkes looked at the pile of cards beside her. She thought wondering if she had forgotten any family members when a thought crossed her mind. What about her head of house. It struck her that over the course of a year, Fawkes had begun to see her as family. Besides, that hufflepuff prefect had written a card for the Astronomy prof. So really there was no harm in making one for her head of house.

@Jessamine Lancaster
To Professor Lancaster,

Thank you professor for being one of the best head of houses I could ask for. You've helped me grow a lot in the last year and I don't think I would have settled into the school as well as I did if it weren't for you. Also, Happy Birthday in advance! I hope you enjoy your birthday and the year ahead.

Regards,
Fawkes Chaos.
She nervously sealed the letter and added it to her pile before getting up from the table and picking up the entire stack. Now she had to go around the castle and give everyone the cards she had made. Hopefully she'd be able to find them all relatively easily.....

Demo's Name, but in orange font + turtles
15th September

This boy - B6-C (Phillip) - looks like a character from a cartoon. In reaction to his animated reaction to what Demo considered a bland introduction - B6-C (Phillip) received no indication of guilt from Demo. His stare was as passive as it usually was, as if he hadn't registered how his words could come off rude. " Is that rhetorical?" he instead asked. Had to be sure. Sometimes people ask things like 'why would you think that' and then get confused when he answered. Weirdos.

[ IMPARTIAL IN EFFECT : ALLURING NEGATED ]
|| Phillip Looks like ... Some Random Kid ||

" You have? I haven't seen your eyes before" He tilts his head and leaned every so slightly close, uncaring for social norm of personal space between two humans who barely talk to each other.

" Name? You can call me 'Hey You'" he says by instinct, cooly - like a robot repeating what instruction it was given. " I don't remember yours, you don't have to know mine if it helps you feel better ".

It was the answer to his original question that made his eyes widen, a slimmer of interest in them. His bland expression suddenly showing life. " Sweets? Cool cool cool! Thats a good payment! What sort of sweets are we talking about? Sweet, sour?". What can he say? He understood the satisfaction of getting candy. It was one of his earliest understanding of what to associate 'like' with.

At the mention of getting his own card though, the light in Demo's eyes darkened slightly, clouded by evident confusion. " What? No pay at all? You know we live in a capitalistic society right?". Demo didn't know further than that. It was just something he heard in passing primarily during 2 weeks after the staffs pay day. " Whats even good about making me a card. Anything you wanna say to me, you can say it right now to my face. Isn't that more practical. Okay! I'm ready!" he sits next to him, staring him unblinking with pure focus. " Lay it on me, 'Hey you' is ready For You"

The girl really did feel like Christmas had come early. Everything really did just feel so festive and it helped take her mind off the immense amount of school work that she had.
So after Tina finished decorating her aray of cookies she headed over to decorate a Christmas card.
As soon as the young girl sat down. She knew she had to address it to her sister. The table was filled with so many art supplies, it was possible for everyone in the world to make a card.
Tina first wrote the card. Making sure it sounded extra strange.

Dear Olivia,
Happy Christmas! I hope everything is great at home. I wish I could see the tree. I decorated some cookies for the great Christmas banquet. I can't wait till father Christmas comes tomorrow morning!
-Tina 12/25/26

The tina decided that she wanted to decorate the card because why not? She took different colors of watercolor and firstly sketched the design. It was a crimson truck with a fully decorated Christmas tree on it. After she finished the sketch, she colored in the red truck with all the tiny details. It took a steady hand and skill but after the countless art classes she took when she was little, it was easy. Then she took 8 shades of green.
She dabbed at the Christmas tree until her hand hurt. The lighter shades of green did indeed look like snow. Then she took little jingle bells and tiny Christmas bubbles and some hot glue. She also got her hands on some glitter. She put gold glitter on the headlights of the truck and made the base of the Christmas lights on the tree a glimmering gold too. Then she glued on the bubbles and the bells.
When she was finished, an hour had already passed. She added Happy Christmas! In gold calligraphy at the top. She was quite proud of herself. Knowing that it looked like something that you'd buy at a shop. Then, The young girl stood up and left the great hall ...

A few days later, Damaris returned to the Great Hall, ready to write more letters to her loved ones.
As she walked, she couldn't help but glance at the other tables; at some, people were making Christmas decorations, while at others, they were decorating cookies. In a way, she was interested in trying both activities, but she also knew she wasn't particularly skilled at them. So, with a smile, she continued walking toward the letter-writing table.
She found a spot in the corner, with paper, decorations, glitter, and other supplies spread out in the middle—much like her first time there when she had written a letter to her best friend.
"Who should I write to now?" she wondered silently, mentally reviewing the list of people she still had to write to:
Her grandmother
Her grandfather
Her father
Her mother

After a few seconds, she decided to take a small wooden figurine of Hades—god of the Underworld and her favorite figure from Greek mythology—out of her bag and place it on the table near her, as if wanting a bit of company. She gazed at it for a moment, and shortly after, she decided who she would write to next.

Upon finishing the letter to her grandmother, she smiled, happy to have written another one for her family and loved ones.
She scanned the table, looking for something to decorate the letter with; finding nothing that really caught her eye, she simply left it as it was, closing it and slipping it into an envelope.
After a few moments spent debating whether or not to write another letter, Damaris looked up and noticed that it was still early in the afternoon; there was plenty of time left, so she could write at least one more. Smiling, she picked up another sheet of paper and her pen, and proceeded to write—this time, a letter to her grandfather.

Made buy me. Buy it here

Sept. 16th
100 days till Christmas. Why she decided to sign up was an answer beyond the universe. Really, to be honest, she had no idea either. It was as if some spirit came and possessed her and forced her to write her name on that sign up sheet. It couldn't be her handwriting on there either! Someone had to frame her. But she still chose to come, so technically it was her choice, framed or not. The real reason she went was because why the hell not? Half of the people here were going so why shouldn't she go and see what all the fuss is about? And they had cookies you could decorate! What's so bad about that?

Stupid theme. Who was the idiot who planned to celebrate Christmas 100 days before it? Christmas was already celebrated enough. On the twenty fifth of December. And she hated that date. She wasn't the Grinch. Her heart wasn't two sizes too small and her head was screwed on just right. And her shoes fit just right. Her reason was known. She never had a joyful Christmas before. Let me reword that. She never had a Christmas that was pleasant that she remembered. Some could argue and say that her first and second year of Christmas could've been nice. But being the youngest and most hated in her family didn't give her any kind of reward. Sure her mother feared her, but her mother was a stupid idiot that let her husband use her as a punching bag and didn't stop anyone from provoking the Devil Child. Her Christmases were filled with watching and hearing about other peoples family and how great their gifts were. Being woken up after everyone opened presents, and receiving only two crappy gifts that she probably got last Christmas too. The best presents she got were form her eldest brother Cole and her best friend, Alana. That ended up placing Christmas as last place in her most liked holidays and winter as her hated season. She liked the season before winter. Fall, where everything was dead and haunted looking. The perfect season.

The sound of the Great hall when she entered was just enough to make her want to hide and run away. The laughter, yelling and talking. She wasn't a people person at all. Most of the time she got in fights when she met other people. Just cookies and maybe a card, then leave. Sounded simple enough right? Wrong. The table where cookies were being decorated was packed. Hearing footsteps coming up behind her, she quickly steps aside avoiding being ran into. Not the time or place silently she watches the kid hurry to the decorating cookies table. Once they got there, they let out a loud squeal and sat down next to someone. Must be nice to have a friend in this hellhole Grumbling under her breath, she reluctantly makes her way to the card table where it had some open space at the end. Taking her place at the end, she scouts as much as she could away from the other people. Once settled, she looks at everything. Make a card, simple right. The million dollar question was to whom? Her parents? Everyone else probably sent a card to them, stating how awesome their week has been so far, how cool Hogwarts is, asking how they are and weirdly a Merry Christmas. Weird and stupid. Stupid and weird. But it was a normal thing to do right? And shouldn't her parents be the ones worrying about her? Wouldn't that make them abnormal if they were not worried?

To Mother and Father

I suppose I should ask how you guys are. Honestly, I do not expect a reply back. I would be surprised if you guys did respond and send a letter back. So asking would be pointless. You must be wondering why I am sending this. Well the school is throwing some sort of a hundred day before Christmas celebration. Some had to write cards. Since you guys wont reply, I hope assume you are wondering how I am. Although one could argue especially since I wasn't told anything before I left. But for your information Im doing fine, just fine. The place is huge. The rooms we stay in are nice The beds feel like you're sleeping on a million feathers. The classes are very interesting. That's all. And if you see Alana or see her mother, please let her know i'm doing fine. I will try to write to her.

Letting out a quiet sigh, she carefully chooses a black envelope to send the letter. Folding the letter carefully, she licks the top and seals it shut. Looking at it she sucks in her bottom lip, Don't expect a reply...
