As a note, it's honestly very hard once you're indexed and have RPed to add family members. Especially if you've stated yourself as an only child. I would not recommend it unless you have a specific lore tied to it.

It's definitely possible to have siblings on site! Blaize and I are both second-generation characters, so we planned out our relation well before either of our first-gens graduated.
For twins it is a bit harder, but not impossible. We have twins right now in first year - also second gens, Zyva and Arkyn! I'd recommend either A) bringing a friend to site to play a twin or B) discussing it with someone who is already on site and might be willing to deactivate and/or reindex to play twins. The latter I'd just warn you to not be pushy on the matter - not that I think you will be, but we definitely want to make sure everyone's playing a character they want to play! However, we have totally had users be twins before - if you do it before indexing/RPing as an only child it is definitely not impossible. We allow users one name change too, and we've had characters in the past realize that they're siblings well into their time at Hogwarts, like Winnie and Evelynn.
