Though this fact was nothing but misleading. The pale tan of the tent fabric brought no emotions to one's heart. Yet you still push aside the fabric to walk inside. The tent was fairly standard and did not hold anything that screamed high-class. Which was not very surprising. Once you enter inside completely you see that there are three bunk beds. One bunk bed lay flush against the back wall. While the last two bunkbeds stood parallel from one another on the far right wall. There were curtains that would allow for one to give themselves privacy. Though they had been left open and drawn back. The communal area expanded from the far left wall and the center of the tent. To the left sat a table where one could eat at. While, the center held two loveseats, a couple of armchairs, and a coffee table. On the coffee table lay a few games such as a deck of cards. Next to each of the loveseats sat a small side table that had a stack of books resting neatly on top. A small furnace sat in the center of the room, providing warmth to the tent. Multiple large carpets covered the bottom of the tent. You decide to stay. What could go wrong?"

When Mikael had finally gotten to the London Quidditch Stadium he had been genuinely fairly excited for once. To get the chance to camp with Yefim for the International Quidditch Tournament between Wizarding Schools was honestly exciting. Even the idea of sharing a tent with other students couldn't dampen his mood. It was finally summer, and a break from school was wonderful. Though things never seemed to exactly go as planned for him and Yefim.
It had been a little surprising that Nikolai had decided not to tent with him and Yefim. More so surprising that the other hadn't chosen to tent with at least Yefim. Nikolai and Mikael had never really been close, but it wasn't like he actually cared. Though seeing Yefim so downtrodden had made his good mood come to an end. Now both boys were without the certainty of where or who they would be bunking with. Mikael had gone looking about in a couple of the Durmstrang tents, and the majority had been filled to the max. It did not bother him too much though, he didn't want to have to deal with eight other tentmates.
So even though some of the tents had possible openings for both Yefim and Mikael. Mikael still carried on through the small maze of tents. That was until he came up to one particular tent. The tent was just as boring and unspecial as the one before it. When Mikael pushed open the tent flap he was surprised to see it was completely empty. Unlike some of the other tents, there were only bunk beds in the room, and there were no singles.
Though it didn't bother him at all as he pushed his way inside. The inside of the tent was similar yet slightly different than the others. Inwardly, he was glad to see that the tents were not carbon copies of one another. Each one seemed to have at least a couple things different about it. The tent was devoid of other lifeforms which was a large bonus for himself. Though Mikael wondered exactly how long that would last.
Yefim would be showing up any moment, and it wasn't like the two could hoard an entire tent to themselves. So even though their tent was a good ways away from the entrance. There was still the chance people would walk in looking for an empty tent. He looked down at one of the books that lay stacked neatly on one of the coffee tables. Mikael picked it up with a disinterested look as he read the title. 'Robinson Crusoe, Novel by Daniel Defoe' Before he dropped it down onto one of the couches.
The boy could honestly care less about the discarded book as he made his way to the bunk bed that was against the far wall. Mikael dropped his luggage onto the bottom bunk of the bed with little care. He didn't even want to think about unpacking at that moment, and it wasn't like he had to do it right away.
He couldn't help but enjoy the empty feeling of the tent. It was nice not having to wear a mask where he had to pretend to care about others. Sure he cared about Yefim, but it wasn't uncommon for others to expect the same. He was honestly used to it at this point. Though that didn't mean it didn't annoy him any less. Mikael could not help but admit to himself that it was nice to let down his guard for once.
Mikael made his way back to the couch where he flopped down. The boy grabbed the book he had discarded earlier and opened it up to read the summary. Even as he read it he couldn't bring himself to care too much about the apparent plot. Though boredom gnawed at his gut as he waited for Yefim to show up. So, Mikael crossed his right leg over his left before he opened the book to Chapter 1 and began to read.
"Hm." he said in a slightly surprised tone. Surprised by the fact that Mikael was actually interested in the book. The boy turned the page as he continued to read.

Well, they had to sleep somewhere, and while out in the grass underneath the stars would have worked well enough for Yefim, he tracked down the wandering Mikael to find him holed up in an otherwise empty tent instead. Was it someone elses’? Well, who cared, maybe Durmstrang set the empty tent up or maybe Mikael stole someone’s hard work. Didn’t really matter, there his pal was cozying up with some book. What was this, school? Yefim had been glad to finally be able to let loose, school was always so formal and strict. Yefim could be a good student, especially when it came to training strength and form, but the second he was free of the eyes of his instructors, he was an agent of chaos, a match looking for fuses.

”[Mik! What are you doing?!]” Yefim yelled, pointing an accusing finger at his dear friend.
Swooping over like a pouncing tiger, Yefim latched his hands onto the back of the couch that Mikael had been so comfortably lounging on, trying to enjoy some peace and quiet, and started to shake it violently.
”[Can you read like this? Huuh?]” Yefim couldn’t help but laugh as he talked.
After playfully antagonizing his friend, he looked around better. Simple, good enough. Yefim didn’t have his luggage with him. In fact, he wasn’t sure where he left it last. He would worry about that later when he needed to find his toothbrush, it could be like an adventure. The quest for the missing luggage, which was missing because Yefim couldn’t bother to keep track of it. Well, when he thought about it, he wondered whether he might have left it at a train station somewhere. He wasn’t really paying attention to all that boring stuff. If all else failed he could just steal a toothbrush from someone else. He could just wear Mikael’s clothes too, there was nothing precious in his luggage. Nothing personal.
How could he even think of bringing something precious on a long trip anyway? He didn’t want to have anything that could be taken away from him. If he had nothing to lose, he couldn’t be disappointed when it was taken away. Better to not care.
Either way, it was obvious that he was going to bunk with Mik. Even if no one else was in the tent, he wanted to stay close. He wouldn’t admit it out loud, but if there was anything precious that he didn’t want to lose, it was Mikael. He wasn’t afraid of that, though, Mikael was extremely loyal. Well, to him, at least. He was different around other people. Yefim never asked why, because, well, who talked about feelings and stuff? Better to just enjoy the good times while they were here.
With that, he opened up the bag Mik laid out and started rifling through his stuff to see what he brought. Maybe he had a cool toy to play with or some kind of food.

«Какого черта? Я вернулся в Россию?» ["What the hell? Am I back in Russia?"] joked Valentin as he strode through the doorway of the tent. His Russian was casual but perfect due to his mother's influence. Anyone familiar with Russian would recognize his accent as Moscovite. As his silvery violet eyes adjusted to the lighting inside the tent they focused on the forms of Yefim and Mikael… and Valentin's face stretched into a devilish grin.
If Yefim was a match perhaps Mikael was the fuse that would start a fire. Team mates knew Valentin was a high-octane fuel that inflamed mischief into ever more dramatic and sustained chaos once it had already started. As Valentin glanced around the room he spotted Yefim shaking the couch that held Mikael, who was holding a book. Valentin understood this immediately and rushed over to the other side of the couch and began to rattle it as much as he could. Though, for his age this thin boy was not very strong and so the couch didn't outright topple over.
Valentin "Niffler" Schnell loved his team mates more than anything else on Earth, even more than quidditch, and that was saying something. Everyone on his team knew him as an extremely social and energetic powder keg: around strangers he was incredibly quiet but around his friends he became easily riled up... and once that happened nothing could get him to sit still. Other students could see this kind of bifurcation in his homework, too. If Valentin thought a class was interesting, his high intelligence would easily make him a top student. However, if he found the professor unlikeable or the material boring, he wouldn't even bother showing up to class. Thus, for someone as smart as he was, he ended up with pretty uninspiring grades.
What "Niffler" Schnell was good at was finding things with his keen eyesight, especially shiny things. As a sign of affection he loved to prank his team mates by stealing a shiny object of theirs and running off with it. Since he was infamous for repeating this prank endlessly, people who knew him would know that if they wanted to keep their shinies to themselves they had better hide it away when he was around… or if they wanted to play with Niffler they could expose it even briefly and it would start a game between them.
Team mates would also know that Valentin did not like to eat due to a quidditch-reated eating disorder, so if anyone was going to see him at events such as a barbeque or other kinds of meals, one of his team mates would have to drag him there. His extremely thin build made Valentin extremely light and fast on a broom, but he would not be able to help much with feats of strength.

Faceclaim: Maarten Convens Male | 14 | Pureblood | Portuguese/Italian | Fourth YearKHEANU MARAVILHO MONDELEZ
"Your discomfort fuels me. I unsettle you, and that's exactly how I like it."----------------------------------
The relative hustle and bustle of the Durmstrang campsite was broken up by a tall figure striding down a row of tents with a business-like air. The boy's elegant and purposeful steps betrayed his lack of understanding of exactly where to go from there. One would not see it from behind his seven-thousand US-dollar Cartier sunglasses, but Kheanu Maravilho Mondelez's eyes quickly scanned the canvas facades, looking for one he could claim as his own.
The boy softly sighed as he fanned his face with long, delicate fingers.
All this walking was exhausting.
"Am so 'ot..." A heavy Italian accent laced the complaint with an exotic trill that fell out of glossy, pouted lips. The double-layered combination of a cream plaid-print jacket and a tan cashmere jumper he wore did not help his case whatsoever. "If honly someone were to--"
"I'll take your jacket for you!" An enthusiastic voice rang from behind him.
Kheanu turned to find an older boy with a dopey smile and a dazed expression on his face.
Oh, him.
He forgot his tail for a second there.
See, Kheanu wasn't one to pack lightly on any of his excursions. In fact, if he didn't prepare at least three outfits for each day of the trip, then he was severely under-packed. The inter-school summer camp was a slightly different business altogether, however. They were much closer to London, and so Kheanu could acquire more outfits through courier-owls pretty quickly if he so desired. That being said, the boy still ended up with two suitcases, three duffel bags, and two purses--the last of which were both just full of fashion catalogs, magazines, and other miscellaneous items a boy couldn't live without (like skincare products and perfume).
The previously-mentioned older Durmstrang student--whose name the Mondelez boy did not care enough about to ask--carried all of this baggage. When he arrived near the entrance to the campsite with all his bags, Kheanu could just so easily have levitated all of them with a simple spell across the camp. But who was he to deny a boy who saw his lost expression with all his heavy bags and decided to help him? Surely, allowing the older boy to help a poor, delicate boy with all his burdens was a chivalrous act worth mentioning? He totally did not flutter his lashes nor fake a shy blush to entice anyone to help. Nor did he intentionally look weak and helpless to warrant some assistance. Totally not.
Besides, Kheanu was sure an opportunity to flex his strong arms and look impressive carrying all of the heavy baggage was something the older student could not possibly pass up.
"Really?" The blonde-haired boy would put a hand to his heart. "You would do that per me?" He'd walk the small distance between them while sliding the jacket off his shoulders in a deliberately slow manner. Since the boy's arms were occupied-- what with both suitcases being clutched in both hands, and all the other bags hanging from each of his two shoulders--Kheanu opted to lay the soft article of clothing over an arm, trailing his fingers on a bicep as he pulled away.
Kheanu would whisper a low "thank you kindly, signor" as he'd turn back around, not missing the way the boy's bicep flexed under his fingers nor the way he took a deep breath of the subtle scent that wafted from the soft plaid jacket.
The blonde-haired beauty's lips quirked up slightly. Oh, boys. Such single-minded individuals. The other student looked more like a clothing rack than an infatuated teenager, but Kheanu's small interactions were enough to temporarily make him forget that fact.
After a short while of entering random tents to check their vacancy, both boys happened upon a wide-open one. From inside, the sounds of a friendly scuffle could be heard, prompting Kheanu to peer curiously into the canvas abode over his designer sunglasses. What met him was a pair of boys bugging another one over a book he was reading--all of them exclaiming at one another in what seemed like Russian. None of them were familiar to him, but that was understandable--none of them looked to be his age.
As he surveyed the interior over their shenanigans, Kheanu could see the potential--three bunk beds spaced equally from each other and a wide common central area. From what he could gather, there was more than enough space in the tent. And some to spare for his clothes.
He might have possibly found his new home.
Clearing his throat softly, the Mondelez boy tried to catch the trio's attention. "Um, mi scusi...?" He'd feint a sheepish, shy tone of voice as he looked at all three of them from underneath his lashes. "I have been looking all day for ha place to stay. I was wondering if you 'ad a free space for h'one...?" At this, he'd look down, tucking his long, blonde locks behind his ear.

Mikael, to be honest, did not notice when Yefim walked into the tent. He was usually more aware of his surroundings. Though the book proved to be a good distraction. The boy's eyes snapped upwards towards the figure of his friend pointing an accusing finger at him. It was surprising, to say the least. Mikael thought he had a couple more minutes before the other would have been able to track him down in the rows of similar tents. Though it seemed like he had been wrong.
The boy glanced down at the book in his hands before looking back up towards the other boy. Yet, before he could even open his mouth to say something. Yefim swooped behind him and began to shake the couch. It must have been an impressive feat to shake a couch with Mikael lofting on top of it. Though Mikael was not very impressed. The boy angled his body so that he could comfortably sit while he glared daggers at the other boy. To try and save his place, Mikael shifted the book into his left hand. Before, he stuck his index finger on his left hand in between the pages.
"Not really." he said with a frown. Even with his annoyed outward expression, it was hard for the boy to stay mad at the other for long. Yefim sadly had that effect on Mikael. Before he had a chance to tell the other to knock off shaking the couch, he watched as Valentin came into his peripheral. The shaking of the couch increased as the other joined in. Causing Mikael's book to fall from his left hand as he made sure he didn't fall off the couch. The book hit the ground with a thud.
Mikael stood from his spot on the couch. Not bothering to pick the book up from where it lay splayed on the floor. He had lost the motivation to continue reading the book after being disturbed. The boy turned about and studied Valentin for a second. It hadn't even been thirty minutes since he had entered the empty tent. That someone other then Yefim had invited themselves in. At the very least, Mikael knew who the boy was and how he generally acted.
The star Seeker of the Durmstrang team was nothing short of a social butterfly. It already mentally pained the boy thinking of having to room with the other boy. Though Valentin himself had nothing to do with Mikael's ire. Mikael had picked the tent specifically to make sure he would not have to deal with any other students. Though his plan had truly blown up in his face.
Mikael threw a smile at the other boy. Though he was certain the other probably noticed the shift in emotions. That did not deter Mikael from putting on a mask for the boy. "Valentin, surprised to see you here." he said politely.
Though Mikael's attention was drawn away from the fair-haired boy in front of him. As he noticed Yefim, in his peripheral vision, rifling through his bag on the bed. As Yefim rifled through the bag, he would notice that the bag was larger on the inside. The boy would be able to see an assortment of objects within
Unbeknownst to Yefim, Mikael had bought the Gummy Worms specifically for the other boy. Mikael never liked sweets. Finding them way too sweet to ever be able to enjoy them. While the sweets were for his friend, he did not enjoy the other going through his bag. Especially when his hidden knife lay at the bottom of the bag. The knife represented Mikael's paranoia, wanting to protect himself and those close to him were second nature to him. Though it wasn't like he would admit that to anyone. Not even to himself. He had gotten the knife for his birthday last year, and Mikael had gotten into the habit of carrying it with him ever since. To himself, it had barely even crossed his mind to not bring it.- 1 Quidditch Uniform
- 1 Broom
- 4 Vintage Sweaters
- 2 Long-sleeved Shirt
- 1 Button-down Dress Shirt
- 3 Pairs of Slacks
- 2 Pairs of Jeans
- 1 Pair of Long-sleeved Pajamas
- 1 Wand
- 1 Journal, Quill, and Jar of Ink
- 1 Leather Pouch Carrying Galleons
- 1 Package of Gummy Worms
- 1 Dungbomb
- 1 Box of Matches
- 1 Three Inch Russian Hunting Knife [Wrapped in a cloth at the bottom]
"What are you doing." he said blankly walking around the couch to come up next to Yefim. The boy went to grab the other's arm to stop him from rifling through the bag any further. Though Mikael glanced away from Yefim instead, looking towards the tent entrance, as he heard someone clear their throat. The boy's face fell into a neutral expression as he studied the other boy. He took in blond hair and way too fancy clothes. For some reason, the boy seemed to admit a bad aura despite his neat appearance. Mikael's eyes narrowed ever so slightly as he tried to figure out why the other seemed to be emitting such an aura. Though the boy was unable to pinpoint anything and went back to a neutral expression.
Mikael was certain that the boy must go to Durmstrang as well. Seeing how the boy was currently standing in the Durmstrang Camp. It was unlikely the other was from a different school. Though Mikael couldn't place whether or not he actually knew the boy. When Kheanu spoke in almost fluent English, Mikael could not help but pause to think. His English could be considered edging passable. He guessed that he had his parents to thank for drilling English into his brain as a child. Though English remained as not one of his strongest languages.
Even though the boy understood the majority of what the other said, he did not answer him. Instead, the boy turned towards Yefim. "What do you think?" he asked with a neutral expression. Mikael inwardly did not want to have a new tentmate. If Valentin decided to stay, then three would already be a crowd. Though he was unable to voice his thoughts with Valentin so close by.

Yefim couldn’t have been more delighted when he saw the bright, unmistakable white glow of Niffler (as Yefim called him, just ‘Niffler’) jumping on the bandwagon beside him. Yefim was only a waitlisted member of the Quidditch team, but it hardly mattered. With the way Durmstrang was, every team was an unbreakable unit. Family! The third and fourth string players got non-stop training alongside the main team, it would be a mockery of their principles if a third string got to play and they sucked. Because of that, he had spent plenty of time around the excitable snowflake. In fact, he was a source of nonstop entertainment.

That was his purpose in looking through Mikael’s things, but there was a disheartening lack of shiny things in his belongings. He could have taken a galleon to throw, but if it got lost he might have to pay Mik back, and he wasn’t sure he had any money on him. Patting his athletic shorts briefly confirmed his suspicions-- no money. Must be in his luggage. As much as he would have liked to see Niffler catch a thrown knife out of the air, he wasn’t about to disrespect his best friend’s birthday present. He knew how much it had meant to him, so he quickly covered it back up so no little white monster could think to nab it.
Instead, Yefim lifted up and looked at the gummy worms, an odd choice for the sweets hater. If he didn’t know better, he would think that Mik brought them so Yefim would have something sweet to snack on after he inevitably wore himself out running around the whole campground. Just kidding, he totally knew it was for him, that was just how Mik was. Mik came over to put an end to Yefim’s snooping, but before Yefim could explain his almost innocent defense, there was another entrant into the tent, this time way more obvious, unlike Niffler who just kinda appeared like he had always been there.
This was someone who clearly didn’t look like they belonged in a tent with a bunch of smelly jocks, it was some random hot girl speaking some totally unintelligible language. Was she even from Durmstrang? He could see a ton of luggage just outside the tent flap, it reminded him of some kinda celebrity or something from a movie. Was this some magazine shoot, what the hell was she doing here of all places?
Mik asked him what he thought, but he totally had no idea what to think, what the hell was she even saying? She didn’t want to bunk with them, right? That would be insane… which was fine by Yefim!
”[Oh, I think this will be fun.]”
Of course Mik wouldn’t be too pleased with the crowd, but he needed to loosen up. He was on vacation for frick’s sake, he should let go of some of that intensity. Why couldn’t he chill, like he always did when it was just the two of them? After all, wasn’t Yefim the one who was supposed to be hard to get along with?
Walking over to the newcomer, who seemed to have asked a question, probably, Yefim smiled like he had every intention of answering it. A big happy, friendly smile. Once he got close enough, he nodded solemnly before grabbing those shiny shades right off her face and flinging them across the tent.
”[CATCH!]”
Surely Niffler would nab the shades out of the air and totally impress her, and they wouldn’t clatter to the hard ground and break. Well, either way it would be pretty funny.

As the newcomer arrived, Valentin had decided to sneak over to Mik’s bag while everyone was distracted. Sneaking one little hand inside the bag, the boy’s incredibly keen eye caught the reflection of a glint of light striking the tent wall above him. Valentin’s niffler instincts instantly engaged. He was already running back towards the front of the tent when, in beautiful unison, Yefim snatched the newcomer’s glasses and threw them up in the air. ”[CATCH!]” This was the kind of private moment that would have shown to any stranger that the team knew each other so well that they could operate in near-perfect synchrony, as if by magic.
Ever the dramatic flier, Valentin redirected his run towards the couch which he then with one leg leapt onto, using it to launch himself high into the air in a slight spin. His hand outreached, the Niffler grabbed the sunglasses gently but firmly. Finishing his descent, Niffler landed on only one leg, spinning on his heel, and then took off in the direction of the couch... which he then hid behind. Niffler’s grasp on the glasses was solid, but it was certain that if the glasses had been a fragile golden snidget, not a feather on its little head would have come to any harm. Well, there would be fingerprints on the glasses, but that should be no big deal compared to the thrill of a game with a new friend…?
Poking his head slightly above the top of the couch, Valentin’s silver-violet eyes regarded the person whose glasses he had just stolen. Some percent of the Niffler’s brain was occupied by already scanning him for more shiny objects, and indeed the boy with the Italian accent looked the type to own many shinies. However, Niffler also caught a distinct chill coming from the boy. In fact, Valentin got a disturbing sense of danger from him. Yes, there was a darkness about the brightly-dressed boy. Cocking his head, Valentin’s gut was deciding what to think about the boy’s terrible presence. Hmm, Valentin liked danger, he concluded. Yes, this boy’s edgy, dangerous feeling was likely to cause some kind of adventure. Even though it was unnerving, Valentin decided to embrace it. Sneaking the sunglasses onto the bridge of his nose, Valentin continued to peer over the top of the sofa. The lenses of the sunglasses would surely protect him from any gaze from the boy that would have otherwise turned him to stone.

Kheanu's fake smile slowly started to ebb as the boys showed they did not respect him enough to talk about or to him in a language he understood. The corners of his smiling mouth took on a sharp edge as the other three spoke to each other with guttural, throaty accents he could not, for the life of him, comprehend.
The long-haired Mondelez cleared his throat daintily and enunciated, "I don't think I quite understand..." Though Kheanu did not expect the random strangers to take him in just like that as the fourth resident of their little abode, he did expect at least the common courtesy of being turned down in a language he knew.
Besides, it wasn't like he needed their tent that desperately--he could just buy a new one! It would probably be better furnished and have all the space he needed for his... special requirements.
But where was the fun in that?
Kheanu's soft smile returned in full force as one of the boys started to approach him, seemingly falling under the spell of his alluring good looks. Finally. He sighed to himself. For one second there, he thought he had lost his touch! Fluttering his lashes at the dopey-smiled teenager, Kheanu bent and leaned forward a small bit, a practiced piece of body language to convey an illusion of great interest in what one had to say.
It proved to be the instrument of his detriment, though, as the boy quickly snatched the Panthère de Cartier aviators off his nose and chucked it across the tent. Kheanu stared, slack-jawed in horror as it landed unceremoniously in another boy's filthy hands. He watched his statement piece disappear behind the couch and wanted nothing more than to curse all of them out in Portuguese, Italian, and English all at the same time.
But he knew nothing would come out of it. Definitely won't get him a place to stay. And so, although it was an immensely difficult thing for him to do, the feminine Durmstrang student plastered on another one of his fake smiles.
These were the type of people who do things for attention.
And attention they will get.
"Does that mean that I get to stay, then?" Kheanu smiled, showing his perfect teeth, which made him look simultaneously dashing and threatening at the same time. Overall, it would catch anybody off guard. "Meraviglioso! [Marvellous!]" His heavy Italian accent made him roll his Rs as he clapped his hand in mock glee.
With a twirl, the long-haired boy gracefully traipsed back to his previous companion, leaning forward slowly to whisper in his ear. "Grazie, bello [Thank you, handsome]. I'll take it from 'ere." As he pulled away, Kheanu's lips brushed against the random boy's cheek, eliciting a fierce red blush from it. Accidental or not, no one would ever know, but the small action made the boy release his burden from both his hands and shakily lift Kheanu's purses off his shoulders. "That's it, tesoro [darling]. Thank you. Just leave them 'ere while I talk to... my new friends." Giving one last smile to his helper--who stumbled away dazedly--Kheanu turned back to the three occupants of the tent with a dangerous glint in his eyes—a glint that did not belong on his sweetly smiling face.
His intense gaze homed in on the boy peeking his head behind the safety of the couch, Kheanu's designer sunglasses perched on his pale nose.
The older boy’s smile widened, and as it did, it seemed like the temperature dropped a few degrees inside the tent. Like the taste of iron before a thunderstorm, the boy's unsettling aura made itself known. None of it was real, of course. It was simply the feeling that he elicits in those that meet him. There was a certain dissonance to the Mondelez boy that the others would not be able to explain, but as he strode purposefully towards the one currently in possession of his accessory, it would look to them as like a hunter approaching its prey.
Leaning forward, Kheanu would reach out to recover his sunglasses while murmuring in a soft, silky voice, "I'll take that back... Grazie." He would chuckle sweetly under his breath. "And while we're at it, h'why don't you help me with my luggage, darling?" This last sentence he said louder to be heard by the other boys.

Chaotically Wild
Valentin felt an icy chill permeate the room as Kheanu's gaze fell upon him. The discordant feeling Valentin got from the other boy was increasing in intensity. Though the Niffler would usually run off in order to extend the life of the game, he found himself transfixed on the strange beauty of the boy. It was almost as if… he was shiny. Kheanu felt so dangerous, but also so… shiny. That made for an excellent combination for Valentin, the thrill-seeker who loved the rush of diving about at insanely high speeds on his broom or escalating a very risky prank. While this made the pale Niffler chaotic in nature, his basic drives were not inherently confrontational or aggressive. Especially when in the presence of his team mates, Niffler was instead inclined towards affectionate (if a bit obsessive) games. As Kheanu came up to the couch, the Niffler froze, allowing the other boy to easily take back the sunglasses. After all, Niffler had found something even more shiny. A thrillingly dangerous shiny. Only one second later, Valentin launched himself at Kheanu with an attempted hug.
„Sprechen Sie Deutsch?!“ ["Do you speak German?"] he exclaimed excitedly. Valentin did not want to speak English since he wasn‘t particularly good at it, but he did not wish to be rude to the new boy either. "Or English if want." Niffler looked around at his friends, Yefim and Mik, to make sure that he wasn‘t making them upset by trying to bring the new boy into their fold.
Words about luggage were said, but baggage was neither dangerous nor shiny and so Valentin ignored them... for now, at least, until he could secretly find another treasure in them to run off with.
