β‘β‘β‘β‘β‘β‘Riley breathed the fresh air. Her closest friend, Tina Carilla, had invited her to audition for her new play. She had made an acting club, and Riley had helped put up flyers for it. Tina had told her a bit about it earlier, but she wanted to keep the audition a secret so Riley could fully enjoy it! Riley did enjoy a good surprise, Tina knew her well.
Riley had put on her best shirt, not trying to dress up too much. She wasnβt exactly nervous, more excited. It was the first real audition sheβd been to. gOf course, Riley yearned for the feeling of performing for an audience. She had performed during the pageant as a first year, doing a combination of song-dance-acting-and guitar playing. She loved to perform.
Riley finally reached the classroom. When she saw Tina, she wanted to run to her and hug her, but she seemed to be helping another student. The girl was a first year, but didnβt seem to be much shorter than Riley. Of course, Riley was quite short. The girl Tina was helping sat down eating was looked like a rather delicious cookie. She had lovely messy dark hair and dark eyes.
Once the girl stopped talking, Riley walked up to Tina, surprising her from behind. βTina!!β Riley smiled her bright and iconic smile βIβm finally here. Sorry iβm a bit lateβ¦ Umm, I may or may not have overslept! Riley said with a giggle. She set down her blue satchel. Oversleeping was quite unlike Riley, but she was still getting used to the new term.

Bella knocked twice on the closed door before opening it to peek in, then swinging it open. Her eyes widened in delight as she saw all the decorations and the refreshments. Finally, her eyes settled on the three girls in the middle of the room, one she knew quite well and two she has seen around.
"Oh, wow! Hi everyone! And Xio, you're here too!" she spun around in a circle, smiling as she took in the room.
"This is the auditions for the play, right? I'm Bella Light, 1st year Slytherin, and I'm so so so excited to be here!!" she squealed out. "I've done a couple of plays back at my old school, but never at a magic school and definitely not at Hogwarts! I can't wait to see what we will do!"
Bella rushes over to the two other girls who she didn't know quite well and determined that they were probably both second years, since she didn't recognize them from her classes. Based on their robes, though, they were both Ravenclaws.
"Do you need to know anything about me? Like preferences, height, stuff like that? Oh, and are the cookies here refreshments?" Bella glanced at Xio, who was happily munching on a cookie. "Thank you! Mmm...this is good!" Bella grabbed a treat from the plate and continud after she swallowed her bite of cookie. "And what are we going to do for auditions, by the way? We weren't supposed to memorize anything beforehand, right? Since I didn't get any papers or scripts, so we are doing improv? Ooh this is going to be amazing!"
OOC Notes: Xio, I love The Greatest Showman too! I never watched it but I really liked the music! And I haven't watched The Sound of Music either but I read the summary and listened to the music a lot

When Maya decided to join and sign up for a Theatre club at Hogwarts she didn't know what to expect really. She never had any experience with theatre before, but she went on a few plays when younger, most of which she didn't remember but she remembered her favorite was a musical theatre. She really liked the idea of any kind of performance arts despite having no experience within it. She didn't know if she'd be a good actress or not. But the idea of this club was very exciting so Maya supposed it'd be very good for her to get out of her comfort zone.
She heard they were gonna perform The Sound of Music, she had heard about that once but never watched it. When she learned about the summary of it, it seemed pretty interesting to play on stage, plus it was a Musical!
She entered the abandoned classroom the first meeting would be in. As she looked around the classroom Maya realized she loved the decoration and really appreciated what Tina did. The classroom had many sweet and savory foods with fruity drinks. Maya could almost swear her stomach started growling, truth to be told, she was just such a sweets lover.
There were four people there, Tina ,who did all of this, and Xio and Bella, Bella was a first year slytherin like her and she knew Xio because of her birthday invitation before, and another Ravenclaw Maya haven't met before.
As far as Maya could see, they were all talking to Tina. As Maya walked closer she heard Bella asking Tina questions, which happened to be questions Maya also wondered.
"Hello there!" Maya introduced herself first then picked up a cookie too. "I am Maya, and those are good questions, how will we go about this?..can't say I had any experience before so I don't really know what I'm doing" She admitted, laughing. "But I'm really interested"
