─────Camping was something that Lucian did a lot with his father. He was used to the wilderness and knew how to set up a tent. His father would take the young muggle to camping often. But this time it was different. They had to use a floo system to get to Ugandou's wilderness which scared the young Lucian a little. But he still managed to come there in time to listen to what was being instructed by the Headmaster of the school where this was happening.
Lucian took mental notes of the different types of tents and their equipments. He was eager to see what the headmaster had in store for them. It was something that he had missed since coming to Hogwarts. He wanted to learn more about different kinds of tents and their purposes. He was intrigued to see the crowd there. He was happy that he was one of them.
He didn't like to be left alone. He hated that feeling. With him being there with others made him feel like a part of a group. He was very much eager to see what happened next. He had a feeling this was not limited to what the Headmaster was saying.

| xxxxx | To be very frank on the matter, Kahira Valerian was only here because she was trying to escape from Hogwarts. After having been Sorted into very much the wrong House, the castle that was supposed to be her home and her liberation from a family that didn't treat her in the special manner she deserved had become more like a prison. The Hufflepuff common room was suffocating, with all its smiles and hugs and plants, and so even though coming to Uagadou for this strange out-of-school experience meant sleeping in a bedamned tent, Kahira was almost glad for the respite. Almost. She mostly hung towards the back, giving disgusted looks to the fellow students her age who seemed more than happy to get their hands dirty in this very Muggle-esque manner. In groups, they chattered away, raising poles and hoisting... whatevers. Meanwhile, Kahira sat with her own small tent supplies in the back, very much unwilling to take part in any of it until she came to the realisation that if she didn't at least try to set something up, she wouldn't exactly have anywhere to sleep these next few days. Why did I come to this ridiculous school anyway? With a groan, she stood and begrudgingly stuck some poles into the ground, balancing the top one while she stretched onto the tips of her booted toes to reach. All the while, she glanced around with narrowed dark eyes, trying to make sure that no one worth her salt was going to be looking her way, seeing the pureblood sparess doing Muggle things. |
