Santario nodded her head in agreement even if she did see Quinn plummet to the ground in his first game. That was a rough landing that she did not enjoy watching. His Hufflepuff tank top was in stark contrast to her sundress. “I’m saving my support outfit for the game. Got some new shoes for the occasion.” Really, she was given new shoes for the occasion, but it was all the same in the end. She glanced around to all the people who started to show up it seemed the bbq was getting popular, but there was food here, so that was a given.Interacting| @Alan Vanes

“Yeah, I think Bridget fixed it with magic after it cracked. I took it apart after I got out of the infirmary for maintenance. It hasn’t gotten dirty being mostly protected in my bag, but it was probably due for deep cleaning and care anyway.” Conversation with Alan seemed different than it used to it was at least clear to her that their dynamic had changed. The words didn’t really come as easy to her anymore more like they were forced, perhaps, because they were not as close as they used to be. “Did you get anything to eat yet, or did you just get here?” She asked him as she took her camera back out of her bag and starting to take some photos again while still giving him her attention.

The human body couldn't properly manage its own organisation if it would be only fed with vegetables. They were basically solid water with vitamins. It needs fat, it needs proteins. Vegetables did not possess those amazing properties. Her halloumi burgers hunt failed and she was glancing around at the students (a whole lot of them had already filled the place compared to the moment when she initially entered the scene) and checking what kind of food they were carrying in their plates.
But then, out of nowhere, there was a godly angel, a sacred being descending from the heavenly stairs. Her hair was shining with celestial light — blinding as it hurt the eyes, but at the same time impossible to turn away. The goddess was holding a plate with ambrosia. Four burgers were resting in glory on that empyrean plate. Not just burgers — halloumi burgers. Meenauh's heart almost stopped in its tracks as she realised the woman was graciously fluttering towards the Gryffindor prefect.
As soon as she touched the second burger and wanted to start a nice conversation, the head of Hufflepuff house appeared out of nowhere and discourteously laid a claim on their burgers. Not quite knowing what to do, she froze with a hand on the second burger, which was still lying on the empyrean plate, and stared at Hjørdis as if inquiring how to behave in that seemingly life-or-death situation.
She was definitely not going with the awkwardest flow.

Meenauh, though staring at the upcoming salvation, was crunching another piece of cucumber as Hjørdis addressed her with the ultimate offer no human being could possibly refuse. So, Meenauh, almost choking, managed to spit the words of infinite gratitude: "You are my saviour, Professor Jensen!" as she was carefully putting not one by two burgers onto her plate.Interacting with @Hjørdis Jensen

Once Caradoc addressed her directly, she turned her face towards him, her hand still holding the burger. That was not a question she could possibly expect from the head of the house, and definitely not the situation she was looking to find herself in. She gave the shining beauty a glance, making sure the hair was just as beautiful as they always had been, before answering: "I-... erm... Summer was finally here! Technically, it had started a couple of days ago but today was the day of the first event and Asteria was in a surprisingly optimistic mood despite the result of the last one she had decided to attend. It was true that the Blossom Ball didn't go well but this would be different, at least she hoped so. For one, this was a sanctioned event. There would be professors monitoring everything which left less room for freedom but a higher chance of survival. Personally, as much as she loved being independent and adventure, survival was a bit more important. Secondly, there weren't any giant murder bugs in the stadium which was a plus. The young Ravenclaw wasn't afraid of many physical things but those evil bug things were truly terrifying to her. Still, that was Hogwarts in April and this was London in July, there really wasn't anything to worry about.
The smells of the barbeque wafted through the air as Asteria approached the main area of the campsite. Before Hogwarts, her parents used to have a grill on their back patio. They never really got around to using it, much to the dismay of Asteria and her sister but when they did, it was a real treat with hamburgers, corn, watermelon, and many other yummy things. She grinned at the fond memories and the thought. Her adventures of the day had certainly caused her to work up an appetite.
Once she reached the area where the barbecue was being held, she couldn't help but make a beeline straight for the food. Anything else could come after her hunger was fulfilled. Asteria reached for a plate, admiring her surroundings.Planning on interacting with: @Serena Bowen

Caradoc's reaction to the whole situation made the whole reference worth it. She walked off whilst he was overthinking her comment, wondering if it was true. Which it very well could be. Hjørdis almost sighed a breathe of relief as the young prefect seemed to be grateful to take the burgers. It would save her from attempting to eat four of them by herself. That... might have been too much, no matter how tasty they were. She lowered the plate, allowing the student to take her share, "You're welcome," She replied to the claims of being a saviour.
As she did, she heard the attention seeking badger next to her, "Mhm?" was all that she managed as she glanced over to see him - oh so subtly - trying to get her attention over there. Hjørdis quirked an eyebrow at his behaviour.
Oh. He wanted the burger. Wait- he wanted the burgers after teasing her about them? He obviously took her words as a joke, realising that they were meant as one. Perhaps he was smarter than she gave him credit for - or perhaps he just knew her better than she realised. Catching Silmataurea's look, who was caught in between eating the burger and offering it to the Head of Hufflepuff, Hjørdis gave her an affirmative nod to encourage her to take the burger for herself. It was offered up to her first and foremost, she had full rights to them both.
O-oh. Caradoc continued to speak, complimenting her... hair. The hair that she had not plaited or put in a fancy hairstyle for once. The hair that she had just left loose... Hjørdis blinking, turning back to him to find herself staring into the 'innocent' expression he was going for. A small smile hugged on the edges of her lips. The puppy eyes were coming out. Uh huh. Right. Of course. Cute. Adorable. Utterly one of those things, yes. Of course. Totally. Right. Yes. The prefect's words answered the question, cutting through the air - and Hjørdis almost burst into laughter. It took a lot of self-control not to laugh, but that did not stop the edges of her lips curling. Hjørdis bite her lip, before smirking over at him. Meenauh - who quickly just got upgraded from 'Silmataurea' for not helping him in this situation in the slightest - definitely deserved that second halloumi burger. That was what happened when you tried to take someone's food.
Hjørdis smirked at him, offering absolutely zero help on the situation whatsoever. She allowed him to squirm for some more time, just remaining silent. Every so often, she sipped the cranberry juice that she had brought over, just trying not to laugh.
After some time of silently gloating, she spoke up, "So... hungry? Mister Browne?" She replied to his earlier request of food, echoing his own question back to him, moving the plate towards him and silently offering him one of her own burgers. Though... He would certainly owe her food after this. Taking half of her food! Outrageous!

Thomas was not an outgoing person. But to reside in a tent with the likes of Erin Ryan would lead him to rival the most active socialites in Los Angeles. Anything to escape her presence. Not that his intention this evening was to socialize. As per usual, Thomas would identify an agenda of worth, and pursue it. The highest priority of identification at first glance? Locate the firewhiskey, drink said firewhiskey.
In his search, Thomas would find the tables beside the grill where an assortment of meat, bread, and relish would remain. Hmm, why no fish? At the very least, Thomas could take comfort to see his brethren were not to be consumed this evening. He selected a burger patty, a slice of white cheese, lettuce, tomato, and a burger bun. But not onions, never onions, they were of the devil.
The boy’s icy blue eyes would fall upon the teapot man, short and stout. Judging by the enthusiasm the grown goblin had as he made love to bread&meat concoction, it was not his first barbecue. Maybe just the first of this week. Word traveled throughout the castle of a new half-goblin Groundskeeper, which Thomas quickly deduced after seeing the orange beard. A beard that might rival the man’s height had he cut it off. How does the man get around? Or perhaps he doesn’t.
Thomas shared an interesting link to the half-goblin, had the cabin reached the status of an airbnb? Apparently rent free, Thomas has not received an influx of galleons recently. Still, a potential connection to the half-goblin would prove beneficial. Which prompted his approach, looking down towards the man with a facade of respect, enhanced by his diction and tone. “Good evening, sir.” Thomas nodded down towards Mr.Dunaid respectfully. “You have your hands full tonight, could I be of assistance?” He motioned towards the many students selecting their food items. How hard could it be? One would think Thomas is intelligent enough to identify when it’s no longer pink, remove it. Simple enough.
Whether the half-goblin accepted or declined the teenage Slytherin’s help would not impact the following question. “How are you liking the cabin, sir? I’ve often wondered if the interior is as charming as the outside.”

Who could deny the marvelous smells of a barbecue. Matched by the sights of smoke traveling up into the dimming sky was enough to give Ella a buzz of excitement. Muting the intimidation the Hogwarts school attendees provided. Widely regarded as the best wizarding school in the world, or at least that was Ella’s perception. Before the brunette was of age, her parents gave her a choice to attend Hogwarts, but she opted to follow her older brother Nichlas. As time passes, she continues to wonder if that was in fact the right choice.Mentions: @Ami Procoppio as Maksim Preobrazhensky
Ella would cautiously weave herself through the crowd in search for her brother. Many of the attendees she vaguely recognized from the hallways of Durmstrang. It put the girl at ease to know her school was represented equally, if not more so than Hogwarts. However, as time passed this was subject to change. She found Nichlas standing beside a boy almost as tall as he, a true rarity. She found Nichlas’ side, peering over at the boy with a charmed smile. Nevermind the fact his eyes the tint of flame, or the sharp ends on the tip of his fingers, and especially not the sharp teeth that were revealed when he spoke to Nichlas. What a lovely creature. Then she heard the boy speak before Nichlas introduced himself. Well, maybe not. Why must every individual be brimming with broody teenage angst!
It would not deter her from introducing a much needed pleasant tone to the conversation. “Who’s your friend, Nicke?” She eyed the older and taller Dhampir across them[Howard]. Then offering an introduction with a charmed smile. “Ella Forsberg, pleasure to meet you.”
As the boys’ likely carried on a conversation of little interest to Ella, where they would probably compare who could talk in a deeper voice, Ella’s eyes would travel around to other parties of interest. It did not take long to find a boy with curly locks, and darker complexion[Maksim]. More notable than his appearance, was the energetic enthusiasm he seemed to contain. Ella gravitated to this kind of energy, even if she would not be too keen on the boy’s spoken words had she heard. Her blue-gray eyes would linger on him a moment longer than the rest. But the girl was much too shy to approach a group of older boys by herself. This is where Nichlas would come in handy, but Ella would elect to hold off until they shed the dhampir.
“Nicke, I’m hungry…” She pleaded in a soft tone, her eyes flickering over to the tables. “A burger sounds good!” She beamed, in Ella language this simply meant: Will you go get me a burger while I kill this dhampir with kindness.

The height of the boy marked him around Howard’s age or he was just really tall if he happened to be younger. The teenaged Dhampir would offer a forced smile as the other offered his witty remark. Cute. “Howard White.” He would offer his name, but no handshake or other gesture of welcome. Not really his thing. “From Durmstrang I assume?” Judging from his accent, name and the way he reacted to Howard’s swear, he judged it to be true. “Just heading to the grill.” He said as he nodded in the direction of the barbecue. Leave or follow, just get out of the damn way!
Howard let out a long sigh accompanied by an eye roll as a little ball of annoyingly cute fluff came to join Nichlas. She would however off a bit of amusement. “Oh...Nicke, huh? Howard asked the boy with a not so nice kind of smile. Poke and find out what happens, why not, this was becoming boring quick. “Howard White. I assume you’re related to this one?” He introduced himself to her with as much enthusiasm as he had shown her brother. “Now, I’m just going over to the barbecue.” Howard turned his head to the side to crack his neck in frustration as the girl complained of hunger. “If we all just go to the grill, we can all eat!” He wouldn’t wait for anyone this time as he shimmied past the pair.
As he finally made his way towards the cooking station something would cause him pause. That would be his own name. Following the sound his eyes would fall upon a familiar face. Their eyes wouldn’t meet just yet but it was definitely Serena Towers. Thump thump. What the heck was that?! Howard’s heart had skipped a beat. The two had never been really close but years spent passing in the common room and sharing classes had lead to an acquaintance. Was it the summer sun? Or perhaps seeing her out of Hogwarts uniform? Whatever it was, the maturity they achieved over this last year shone her in a different light.
Howard cleared his throat and shook his head to clear his mind. Always one of confidence he now stood unsure of what to do. One step after another. Towards the grill he went.

"KarrGahr." The professor filled in the girl's question in between her greeting. "Nice to meet you as well, Milena! Lovely name." A smile lit up the woman's face as she pointed as the drinks she brought out for Maksim. "We have some different sodas, I can take some more out of the cooler. There's also water in the pitchers over there, sort of a self serve thing. Oh! I have some iced tea, sweet and unsweetened should you prefer either of those." Kateri returned to the cooler behind the stand and waited for the girl's response. She would wait for a response on which drink, grabbing whatever the student needed before leaning on the top of the stand, sort of a mock Muggle 'lemonade stand' look to it. Just a little less fancy than some may have made, Kateri was adamant it would have to be something quick to put up and take down. The camp setup alone was already a large task.
A wry smile crossed the woman's lips as she looked at both Saskia and Milena, giving them a small wave to come closer. She had stashed some extras away to hand out later should students come sniffing around for more treats, something on the cooler side. "I've got some things I wanted to save for later but if you two want to break into them now we could." A mischievous glimmer in the woman's eye twinkled as she bent down back into one of the other coolers put off to one side. Digging under the mound of ice, Kat let out an 'Aha!' before popping back up to the pair of students, her arms behind her back. "Pick a side!"

"Oh really?", he asked her wondering what shoes she would be wearing for the day and smiled lightly. "I want t-to show support whenever I can, possibly, th-there are just so many Durmstrang students," he explained and looked down at his own shirt that would display a badger and was colored in yellow. It was nothing Alan would wear at their school probably, since ironically red was his favorite color which just fitted perfectly. He could show house pride while wearing his favorite color. To compensate for the yellow Hufflepuff shirt he was even wearing his red sneaker who were slightly worn down at this point, but incredibly comfortable which is why he did not mind that much.
He nodded at her words and smiled carefully at her. "I'm glad t-to hear th-that it is fixed th-though," he would let her know and he truly meant it. He too, did not realize the difference between their interaction bur how could he? He still saw her as he had done the whole time. For him little has changed but he had been told by Santario in an owl that there were changes to her life ever since winter even though he had no idea about the details. "Did you sign up to any of th-the camp activities?", he asked curiously, before taking a glance at the camera in her hands. "Any new pictures?"

As his lips left her hand, Lizzie looked down to the floor. She should not have been flattered at all. She literally did have a boyfriend and even if it was a fake relationship cheating was a big no in her books. She liked to stay loyal anyone that came across her path and that meant everyone including evil sick beings and people she was using for her own gain.
She brought a hand up to her mouth and laughed. "Miss Lizzie? You have no need to be so formal." She smiled, "and Angel? Oh I assure you I have been mistaken for an angel one to many times. It's getting pretty lame as of late." She shrugged her shoulders and picked up a slice of apple and put it in her mouth, "I am more human then you think I am."
More girls had continued to join them including another one of her tent mates, Ivy Bellamy. The girl that she wanted to have a good relationship but Lizzie had no idea weather it was going up hill or down the hill, "Hey, I wanted food and you were taking longer then expected with those damn shoe laces." She grinned but then lifted the bowl towards her face, "Want some fruit?"
The blonde waved towards all the other new comers. She did not want to seem rude as that would not be the case. It would most likely be because there were so many people around them that is was getting a bit over whelming and Lizzie could not handle it very well.
She looked around quickly and tried to spot anyone she could go to without being hoarded with people [specifically girls who just wanted a hot guy even if they were probably only just finishing their first year]. Lizzie sighed and widened and eyes and she slightly backed up hopefully slipping out of sight.
Trying to leave the conversation but probably won't [someone please grab her wrist or something i am begging on my knees here]
