If you want me to change/remove it just owl me

Henry stepped into his tent only to be amazed, while he is a pure blood and knew about magic he still found it amazing how a small, normal size tent could look like a two bedroom apartment. Henry look over at his best friend; Cricket and pushed her shoulder in a playful way while laughing. He still couldn't believe that they were attending a quidditch match while at the Hogwarts summer camp.

Henry let his graze wander around the tent as he plop down on the couch while placing his messager type bag and backpack at his feet. He ran a hand through his hair as he thought to himself, this place is incredible not to mention the extension charm on this place. I wonder who casted it and I wonder if they could teach me the charm, actually I wonder if I can learn the charm myself. It would make packing a lot easier and prove as a test to challenge my skills, maybe I should ask Cricket about it or maybe I shouldn't. Anyway I thought someone else was suppose to be tent mates with us, I wonder who it is and what they think of us, me. I still don't understand why two people can't share one tent, why does it have to be three or more per tent.

As Henry thought he smiled to his friend and spoke quietly" this is incredible, I wonder if I can teach myself the extension charm. Hey Cricket, I know I'm not a fan of betting but want to do one on the outcome of the match?" Henry grazed over at his friend and tent mate as he spoke before laughing a little. Henry was having so much fun that he forgot about his nerves and worries, he also didn't notice the figure that was approaching and entering the tent.

Charles was a nervous wreck. He did not pick his tent mates because well he was too chicken to ask his friends. So he just agreed to go in any tent. So as he was walking past tents he was sweating and fiddling with his wand.

He was out in the sun a bit too long, and it was a bit hot today. As he passed peoples tents set up there was so many people in his school he saw. But what made him feel bad was that they all gave him a look and walked away.

But Charles was used to this. It's just the price he has to pay for thinking that he was safe, when he was eight. Charles thoughts flew around his head, like a golden snitch flying around trying to not get caught by the seekers.

He was having flashbacks. He was thinking about who his tent mates would be. He wonders how many they were and if they were nice. He wondered if they were going to accept him for him.

But he was probrally overthinking it all. Charles book a dip breath and looked down at his hands. He did not realise that he brought his wand with him. He was fiddling with it like always when he thought too much.

He heard of of many bad things happening during this school year. He brought it here without even knowing. Charles signed, he needed to relax that's what the summer camp was for. To have fun during summer before heading home.

Charles was wearing a long sleeve shirt. So he hid his wand in his right sleeve. It was barley noticeable which made Charles a bit relived. At least if something happened this time and he was a part of it he could, use self defence.

He looked at the tent, it was really tiny how could something as small as that could fit at least ten people. He wondered how many people where in this tent. He walked in and saw a familiar face. "YOUR HERE!" Charles smiled widely. This might be the best summer ever.

Cricket couldn't believe it. As she stepped into the small tent for the first time, her eyes widened at the sight of the large space. Cricket, being from a pure-blood family, knew that wizards could cast spells to enlarge a space, but she's never seen it with her own eyes. Cricket turned her head to face her roommate and best friend, Henry Knight, and he gave her a little bump on the shoulder signifying playfulness. Cricket couldn't help but giggle a little bit.

Henry made his way to the couch and sat on it looking relaxed. Although he was deep in thought, so was Cricket. I have Henry here, and I know it's kind of weird to have a boy as a roommate when you're a girl. I also know that we will be having another roommate. I'm not worried about which gender they are. I've always gotten along better with boys anyway. I'm just worried about what they will think of me and how I'm going to survive three whole months with them!! Cricket didn't notice that she was pacing in front of Henry until his question snapped her out of her mind engulfing trance.

"This is incredible, I wonder if can teach myself the extension charm. Hey Cricket, I know I'm not a fan of betting but want to do one on the outcome of the match?" Cricket knew that Henry never liked to bet, but Cricket did. One of her any pleasures is winning and being right. She furrowed her eyebrows and a wide grin spread across her face. "You're on" she said in a deliberate tone. She was about to ask Henry which team he thought would win when she noticed a tall figure appear at the entrance of the tent. "YOU'RE HERE" said the figure as he waltzed into the light. Cricket noticed his face, as it was Charles Simmons.

"You're on" Cricket replied with a smile, Henry smiled back and was about to ask what team she thinks would win before a figure entered the tent. "YOU'RE HERE" said the figure who Henry recognized has the slytherin boy; Charles Simmons. Henry smiled back remembering he met him in his first year at Hogwarts, Charles has been in the same year with him and Cricket but he has become on of Henry's closest friends probably because they both were awkward around others and extremely nervous.

Henry smiled up at his friend while he spoke" Charles, I'm glad to see you. Are you our other tent mate? After Henry said this he immediately regretted it. Henry went red in the face and his neck started to sweat a bit, he could feel his nerves and panic grow. Henry then took a few calming breaths and then tried to hide his nerves and panic from his two friends as he tried to show a smile.

Henry got up the couch and pulled his short sleeve, light blue shirt down a bit as he smiled a bit, happy that he was sharing a tent with his two best friends. Henry decided to lean on the arm of the couch to help him relax as he continue to smiled, as he spoke" It's great to see you Charles, how was your summer so far? Cricket and me were about to do a bet on the outcome of the quidditch match, you can join in if you like?"

Sorry for late response.
Charles did not expect to see Henry here. Charles looked around around before speaking again. He did not see much here that would interest him at all. And he did not see a library either. How could somebody live without a library in their house.

Charles knew this was just a temporary home untill camp was over but still. As Charles looked around he saw a girl. He did not get a good look at her because he just realised he needed to reply to Henry.

It would be super rude if he did not reply and Charles would not want to be rude. "Are you guys my tent mates. Im pretty sure I'm at the right tent so.." Gosh that was horrible. Charles face faceplanted, he needed to be polite.

"Sorry. That was rude of me, of course you're at the right tent. As you know Henry my name is Charles. And yeah I'm your other tent mate." Charles smiled. Then he realised something that he did.

"Oh my gosh, I am so sorry. You must think I am so weird after seeing me faceplate. Or you might think I am rude." And off he went rambling about random stuff. That did not even matter right now. Charles shoe his head for while.

When he came back to his senses he realised he did not answer Henrys other question. "Oh my gosh I am so sorry Henry. I am so nervous and I am starting to ramble. And I completely ignored your other question. Please forgive me." Charles looked at the ground.

"Oh and sorry but I don't bet." Charles mummerd still looking at the ground.

"Oh my gosh I am so sorry Henry. I am so nervous and I am starting to ramble. And I completely ignored your other question. Please forgive me" Charles mumbled, Henry smiled reassuring his friend as Charles continued "Oh and sorry but I don't bet." Henry smiled up at him as he replied " that's alright mate, you can chose a bunk if you like while Crick and I finish up are bet."
Henry searched his pockets for some money to place his bet; 3 sickles and 2 knuts not much but still enough to bet Henry thought. He smiled and grazed up at his Cricket as he said " so who do think will win, Crick?" Henry placed his money back in pocket as he continued to stare at Cricket awaiting a answer from her, while he was waiting he started to think how lucky he was to share a tent with his best friend; Cricket and his close friend; Charles.

So this summer probably won't be that bad and this camp maybe won't be bad either, I'm still not a hug fan of quidditch but at least my tent mates are my two best friends, I literally can't ask for two better tent mates than my best friend; Cricket who I can always depend on to be my friend and Charles who probably is the only slytherin I'm even friends with. This summer might be one of the best summer's that I ever had.

As Henry though he smiled, he finally spoke"Hey Charles I bought some books in my bag that I think you might like." Henry paused to laugh a little, it was truly funny how much Charles and him like books before he continued" so Cricket what's your bet on the outcome of the match?"

Charles Simmons. Second year Slytherin, Dhampir. Although Cricket didn't know the boy well, she knew he was a Dhampir. The pale skin, the missing teeth, and the eyes. He appeared to have a hazel brown eye colour but if you looked closely, you could see that there were black eyes under the faux hazel ones. A Dhampir can always tell if one is their kind. She was pretty excited to know that one of her tent mates were just like her. Cricket has always seen him around the halls at Hogwarts, but she never really communicated with him. Henry would sometimes talk about him and how he was such a cool person.

The two boys were asking around questions when Cricket started to feel hot and sweaty. She pulled off her light blue hoodie and turned her backwards cap right-side forward. She walked a bit closer to the entrance to see if the sun was out but it was nearly sundown. Not knowing what was bothering her, she decided to listen in on the boy's conversation. It sounded like Charles was rambling. Cricket snickered lightly as it reminded her of when she first stepped foot on the Hogwarts Express.

"Oh my gosh I am so sorry Henry. I am so nervous and I am starting to ramble. And I completely ignored your other question. Please forgive me. Oh and sorry but I don't bet." Cricket realized that Henry had asked Charles if he wanted to join their bet. She wouldn't have minded, maybe he would be on her side with Durmstrang. Although Hufflepuff was from Hogwarts, Cricket always had her best bets with Durmstrang.

"Hey Charles I bought some books in my bag that I think you might like." Said Henry, as him and Cricket were about to make their bet. Cricket knew that Henry didn't have as much money as her. The Knights weren't poor, they just had a different outcome. "So Cricket what's your bet on the outcome of the match?" Cricket dug in her pocket and found 5 sickles and 3 knuts. She placed the coins on the table and said "Durmstrang for the win." Cricket watched Henry's reaction as he was surprised she wasn't cheering for her own school. Cricket spotted Charles in the corner and went up to him. "Hello, my name is Cricket. I'm not sure if you've seen me around school but I definitely remember seeing you!" As soon as she heard what she said, her face went red from embarrassment while her eyes widened as if her eyes were about to pop out of their sockets. She had the sudden urge to just bang her head against a wall and punish herself like a house-elf.

After Charles chose a bunk he realised he left his trunk at the entrance of the the tent. He was so stupid that when he fiddled with his wand he did not realise he dropped his trunk. Most people did not bring that much stuff because they did not have too.

Charles did not bring that much stuff as well, but he had to brig a Trunk. Because he grabbed his favourite books that he packed with him before he came to Hogwarts. And a few books to study during summer camp.

Charles then heard Henry say something about books. And his head moved to the side to look at him intently. As if he was a dog that just heard the word 'Treats.' Yeah he was a book nerd, it did not matter what the book was. If it was a book he wanted to read it.

As Charles was thinking about books he did not notice the girl approach him. So he was very surprised when he started to talk to him. No surprised is not the right word. He was startled, yeah that's the right word.

In fact he was so startled that he fell on the floor. Charles smiled sheepishly and started to observe the girl. He did not really pay attention to her eye colour or her hair color. But he noticed that when she spoke she had gaps were her canines were supposed to be.

And she did not seem afraid of Charles. Like most people would. When Charles put it all together he realised something. He really wasn't alone like his mother said. This girl infant of him was a Dhampir as well.

What was her name again. Oh right she said it was Cricket. "Your like me?" Charles said without thinking. And then he regaled it. That was rude first of all and it was out of the blue.

Charles shook his head and got up. And instead of chatting some more, he headed out of the tent to grab his trunk.

"Durmstrang for the win." Cricket have said while placing her 5 sickles and 3 knuts on the table. Henry smiled and took out his 3 sickles and 2 knuts from his pocket and placed them next to Cricket's on the table as he spoke "ok, then I bet hufflepuff will win but durmstrang will catch the stitch." Henry held his arms together in front of him thinking that sounded good, as Cricket walked over to Charles who seemed to have fallen over as she said "Hello, my name is Cricket. I'm not sure if you've seen me around school but I definitely remember seeing you!"

Henry looked over eagerly at them hoping that is two friends would get along but didn't say anything because while he wasn't as nervous as the previous year he was still a bit nervous so he just stayed quiet as Charles said "Your like me."Before he ran out of the tent, Henry moved to stop him but didn't, he didn't know what to do. So he turn to Cricket as he spoke"He's probably just nervous like I told you before, Charles can be extremely nervous and I guess shy around people sort of like me."

Henry smiled at Cricket thinking of a way to ease their nervous as he finally said" while were waiting for Charles to return what about we chose a bunk." Henry garb his backpack and messager type bag and walked over to Cricket, smiling at her. At 5'3 he was taller than both of his friends, Henry didn't think he was that much taller as he looked down at Cricket a bit while giving her a reassuring smile.

I wonder what's up with Charles, I hope he's ok and not to nerves. I hope Cricket isn't nerves around him either, Don't tell me I have to be the brave one here. I'm not as nervous as I was for my first year at Hogwarts but I am still nervous, ugh great well it shouldn't be that worrisome of being brave or having courage said no one ever. I just hope I don't grow anymore till second year, I rather not look like a bloody tall, gangly nervous wreck.

"You're like me" was the last thing Charles said before he ran out of the tent. Henry tried to stop him from leaving but he pushed him aside and landed on the floor. Cricket made her way over to Henry and reached out her hand. Henry gladly took it and Cricket helped him to his feet. You're like me. Those three words were trapped in her mind as she was helping Henry straighten up.

"He's probably just nervous like I told you before, Charles can be extremely nervous and I guess shy around people sort of like me." Henry spoke with reassurance. Cricket just stared at a speck of dirt on the floor and nodded. She wasn't surprised that he found out they were alike, in fact, she wanted him to know. She was surprised at the fact of how he reacted. He fled the scene as if he was nervous around me, she worriedly thought. "While were waiting for Charles to return what about we chose a bunk?" She heard Henry say as he started walking towards her. "Okay" was all she could fit to spill out of her mouth.

As Cricket and Henry were leaving the main room to explore the rest of the tent and find bunks, Cricket said what needed to be said. "He knows" was all that she said to make Henry stop in his tracks and look at the girl with a puzzled expression. The pale Gryffidnor turned to look at her friend. "Remember when we first stepped foot on the Hogwarts Express and we were with Eyre? The trolley witch had asked us if we wanted anything, and I said a blood lolly. That's when I had to say I was a Dhampir. Don't tell Charles that I am telling you this but he's a Dhampir...and he knows I am too." Cricket looked down at the floor as she continued for her now, understanding friend. "I'm just surprised on how he reacted. If I'm being honest, I was looking forward to spending time with someone like me. Did I say, or do something wrong for him to react like that?"
