Summer of quidditch Finished Crickets M

Henry continued his slow walk around the campgrounds of the quidditch stadium, while most would be over joyed to watch a quidditch game Henry never was to fond of the sport and much prefer to spend his time exploring. Cricket Mercury; his best friend was walking besides him, he still couldn't believe he had time to send her a owl and get her reply since his father decided to tell his siblings and him about the tickets to the match just a few hours ago. While his twin sister; Annabeth and older brother; Arthur were watching the match with their father, Henry meanwhile was just happy to escape and explore with Cricket who knows what they could find.

Henry kept a good distance away from others as he walked, he never really grew his social skills. Now that he had time to think he remember that he'll be going to Hogwarts for his first year in around one month where he'll be surround by kids his own age. Kids that he will need to talk to in order to make friends, Henry tried not to think about it much because he also knew that Cricket will be there with him for her first year as well, Henry looked over at Cricket as he though this. So he won't really be alone at least he have one friend before he'll board the Hogwarts Express. As Henry continued to walk he lost tracked on where he and his friend were going and so lost in thought he didn't even notice he was walking in to the Hogwarts student section of the campsite.

Henry still kept his distance and walked only by Cricket as they past kids who were a bit older than them and continue to walk, Henry didn't even notice and Cricket didn't have enough time to warn him of the tent that he was up to crash into that belong to another Hogwarts female student since he was lost in thought.

How am I going to survive Hogwarts, yes Cricket will be there so at least I won't be alone but what about everything else. To make friends and even speak to a professor, you need to have some sort of social skill something that I don't have or ever have for that matter of fact. Ugh what am I going to do?

Cricket was invited to a quidditch match in London by her best friend, Henry Knight. She was surprised that her parents let her go because they had just received an owl from Henry's father a few hours before the match even started. Her parents decided to let her go since she hasn't seen Henry in a hot minute and her parents wanted her to interact with someone her age since she would be surrounded with witches and wizards when she goes to Hogwarts. It wasn't very bright out so it was safe for her to be outside. Henry has never been very fond of quidditch and Cricket respected that. It may be a difficult sport but Cricket had always enjoyed reading about it and going to matches with her father. She hopes to try out for Seeker once they are in Hogwarts.

Cricket and Henry missed each other so they agreed to sneak out of the match and explore like they did when they first met. As they were walking around the campgrounds outside of the stadium, Cricket couldn't stop thinking about how her first year at Hogwarts will go. What will I say? Am I going to make a fool out of myself? What if someone asks me why I'm missing two teeth? At least Henry is going to be there, right?

Cricket was lost in her thoughts when she noticed that she and Henry had wondered into the Hogwarts student side of the campsite. At least I'll get to see what the other kids there look like, she thought. Different students, tall and short, thick and thin, passed by her, not many though, since most were watching the match. It was a school filled with many different students from many different ethnicity's. A small group of older kids sped by her and she moved a bit closer to Henry. She looked back at those kids to try and see if she could look at their faces but she didn't notice that her and Henry were about to run into a tent that belonged to a female Hogwarts student.

"Hey, hey Henry! Watch out! You're about to crash into tha-" Cricket had warned him but it was too late, Henry already ran head first into the tent and tripped over his own feet to.

Henry looked up and grazed around at the other students as they started to coward around along with the owner's of the tent. Henry could feel his face hot with embarrassment as he sat their on that tent, he thought he should stand but his legs felt like lead and his arm's felt like jello as he couldn't push himself up. He thought he could hear mumbling and laughing from the coward and grazed at Cricket, he felt bad for her. She didn't have to be embarrassed it was him who wasn't paying attention and walked into a tent and it was also him who is causing her to feel uncomfortable.

Henry finally stood and turned to the owners of the tent as he strutted"S..sorry." He gave Cricket a look that told her he was sorry and that he mess up big time. As the coward started to disperse Henry held his arms together and spoke softly " want to go back to the stadium? I'm sure their flying and playing again." Henry then remembered that when they left the players took a short break for some sort of reason that he couldn't remember, Henry then started to walk back to the stadium while rubbing his chest real quick then holding his arms in front of his chest.

Henry grazed at Cricket to see that she was walking besides him. Henry waited until they were a reasonable distance from the Hogwarts student's before saying" sorry about that, if I embarrassed you or made you feel uncomfortable I'm sorry. I'm pretty a lousy excuse for a friend." Henry gave a guilty smile as he continued"I was just thinking of Hogwarts and how I will survive. I don't know about you but I'm nervous for it, are you nervous? I just hope that we'll stay friends in Hogwarts, we will right even if I'm in slytherin?"

Henry felt his face hot as he asked Cricket someone who he considered his best friend his most embarrassing and panicking questions he ever thought of. He grazed down and held his arms tighter as he worried about her answers.

"-that tent." Said Cricket with her eyes shut together, not wanting to see what happened. She opened her eyes and went to help Henry. He didn't seem hurt, just embarrassed. Cricket didn't really care about other's opinions of them at the moment. She just wanted to know if Henry was alright. Cricket could hear a bit of laughter in the background and she tensed up. She hated the sound of laughter, but only when it was towards her. Henry sloppily got up and turned to the owner of the tent whispering "S...sorry." He gave a meaningful look towards Cricket that let her know he was sorry for embarrassing her. Not wanting to say anything, she just nodded and took her friend by the arm so he would feel a bit better.

"Want to go back to the stadium? I'm sure their flying and playing again." Cricket remembered that at the point they left, the players were taking a short break to get back into proper condition. Cricket just looked at the floor and let go of her friend's arm. He started rubbing it against his chest then crossing his arms. They were a pretty far distance away from the student's tents when he said "Sorry about that, if I embarrassed you or made you feel uncomfortable I'm sorry. I'm pretty a lousy excuse for a friend." Cricket shook her head and chuckled lightly as Henry continued, "I was just thinking of Hogwarts and how I will survive. I don't know about you but I'm nervous for it, are you nervous? I just hope that we'll stay friends in Hogwarts, we will right even if I'm in Slytherin?"
Cricket stopped in place. Henry turned his body to face hers and Cricket put her arms on his shoulders.

"It's going to be fine. We will find a way to survive, I promise you. Of course I'm nervous, have you met me? Look, my parents have told me my whole life how they think I am a Gryffindor and i actualy don't even know why, I'm not brave at all! You would do great in Slytherin, and if we end up getting opposing teams, then so be it. Nothing can keep our friendship from falling apart." She gave a slight smile and pulled Henry in close and gave him a tight hug.

Henry stopped in his tracks still holding his arms tight in front of his chest when he saw Cricket stopped and then grab him by the shoulder's as she said"It's going to be fine. Nothing can keep our friendship from falling apart." Henry smiled after she finished, Cricket then smiled back and pulled him into a tight hug which made Henry naturally hugged her back, tightly.

Henry wished they could stay like that for a bit longer, he felt her skin against his and smelled the forest-smell of her her and for the first time wasn't worried or nervous about what others thought or about making a fool of himself. He was just himself, and he felt happy and calm as he stood there hugging Cricket after she reassured him of their friendship. Henry felt as if he was hugging her tighter as he bended his head down a bent, given their height differences, and smiled knowing that his best friend would still see him as her friend at Hogwarts and no matter what houses they were sorted into.

After a few more minutes, they broke away from their hug and Henry spoke" that's good to hear, I'll bloody hate to lose you as a friend. You are probably the greatest friend to put up with my awkwardness and panic attacks." Henry smiled guilty at her while taking a pause before continuing" and just so you know even if I'm in slytherin and your in gryffindor I'll still cheer for your team." Henry laugh a bit and the his arm around Cricket's shoulders as they continue to walk back to the

"Your also braver than you give yourself credit for and I could see you as a great gryffindor." Henry said while smiling.
