Alexa smiled in appreciation at Lindsey introducing her; she forgotten to say her own name!? Oh well. When you’re awkward, you get used to it, she thought, wryly.
“It’s nice to finally meet you,” she said to Lucia, smiling slightly. Then Lindsey called to the Gryffindor girl, and at the same time Cash arrived. Alexa took a step back while everyone greeted one another, and just smiled. She didn’t understand entirely what was going on; there seem to be a lot of nicknames, and something about a club, but she felt strange asking.
Finally she turned to the Gryffindor girl, Scarlett, and offered her hand. This time she would remember to say her own name! “Hi there, I’m Alexa. I’ve seen you in classes, but we haven’t really been introduced.” She smiled at the other girl.
Then Cash spoke to both of them, saying it was nice to see them here, and there was some more talk of nicknames and clubs. Alexa wondered what the “ABC” was, but again, she didn’t ask.
“Hey Cash, how’s it going?” She smiled brightly at the Slytherin girl, remembering fondly that she was one of the first people Alexa had met on the train to Hogwarts. Since then they had interacted several times, and Alexa liked her.
She noticed the guitar that Cash had brought. “Do you play?” She asked excitedly. “I sing,” she added, more quietly. She loved singing, and while she had a beautiful voice, it was not something she shared with others very often. Maybe today, though.
Alexa made sure to scoot over to the table and grab some candy before it was gone. She pocketed some lemon drops to save them for Alina, in case they were gone by the time the other girl got here. Hopefully she and Clifton would get there soon.

Truth be told, Clifton was a solid resident of the "Midnight Zone" whenever Alina was around. So much so, that he hadn't even noticed she'd said it wrong until they were already out of the Common Room on their way to the courtyard.Partying with @Alina Rosier @Alexa Mackenzie @Lindsey Springhall @Scarlett Aden @Lucia Fox @Cassandra Ironwoods
By the time they got there, it looked like things were already in full swing. He spotted several familiar faces. Cassie, who he hadn't seen since the train ride over at the beginning of the year. Lindsey, of course, who was busy talking to some friends. And Alexa's bright red hair that always made her stand out.
"Nice job, Lindsey," he smiled and at the group as they passed. "Everything looks great."
They went to join Alexa at the table and Clifton smiled when she handed over some lemon drops she'd been saving for them.
"Guess they're not joking when they say Badgers stick together," he laughed, popping one in his mouth.
"Nice guitar, Cassie," he said. "Were you both about to play something? I'd make a song request, but I don't know what sort of music magic people listen to. Besides the school anthem, and I think I've heard that one enough times."
He wished he knew how to play something. He'd tried the drums once, but it'd only taken two afternoons of it for his mom to donate them. His next interest probably would've been the guitar if he'd cut back more time from his other interests.
Then, suddenly curious, he turned to Alina. "Do you play anything?" It seemed likely, with her background, but he couldn't remember her ever mentioning it. Maybe, like him, she'd simply had other interests.
Either way, it looked like a fun crowd. And definitely worth a morning of trying to cram in the rest of his studying.
I do all my own stunts, but never intentionally.

“Do you play? I sing,” Alexa said to Cash. They seemed know each other before.
“That must be great Alexa!” Lindsey said to her friend. “I’m very excited to see you to playing and singing together!”
She’d never heard anyone playing or singing before, that’s very true. Except once Lindsey slipped into the Rehearsal Room and heard Nick singing——but that’s a little bit weird that what they’re doing here, right?
She than greeted Scarlett——or Adey, as she remembered in the ABC
“You two have met before?” She asked Lucia, for she had said Scarlett’s first name right. Hogwarts was big indeed, but it seemed small as well——the relationships here were really a bit difficult to know——she had experienced once before, when attending Opeila’s small event.
“Hey Clifton and Alina!” Lindsey waved to the two incredible badgers.
Clifton asked if Alina plays. Lindsey did her best to search in her head for the answer, but she just couldn’t find it——maybe she’d got to know more about her creative friend.
Another lemon drop disappeared from the table.

Scarlett was actually enjoying herself and scanned the food table for any chocolates that Lucia might've missed. The sour candy had been part delicious and part vibrantly sour, and was one of her first experiences of Muggle candy. She wondered if they were all like this.
Another girl came over to Scarlett, who she vaguely remembered for the red hair. She was in Scarlett's classes, but apart from that...
“Hi there, I’m Alexa. I’ve seen you in classes, but we haven’t really been introduced.”
The girl, Alexa, offered her hand.
Scarlett shook it. "It goes both ways," she smiled. "I'm Scarlett Aden."
Alexa had also turned around to Cash, and had said, "Do you play? I sing."
"That must be great Alexa!" said Lindsey. "I'm very excited to hear you playing and sing together!"
"You could be a musical duo!" Scarlett joked.
Quickly after, Lindsey had greeted her. (yes, she got the name right!) Surnames were now a thing of the past, though it would be a bit hard adjusting at club meetings. Scarlett smiled in response as Lindsey asked Lucia something, like, "You two know each other?"
She then found a bar of milk chocolate and took it - maybe to eat, maybe to give to Lucia.

"Hi to you too"Cash said to Adey Scarlett. "It's uh.. Phoenix"Cash added when Scarlett asked about the green eyes girl first name, try not to grimace at their own first name. "Phoenix Cassandra"Cash informs the red hair girl. Cash nodded their head and took off the sunglasses that perched on their nose.
They put it down on the edge of the table that still have a space for it. Cash had to close their eyes briefly by the sudden light changes. They open their eyes again and smile. "I am good"Cash then shift their conversation to Alexa. 'Good' is an understatement of what Cash felt right now. After the Howler incident that their mom sent, Cash was at lost.
But today they determined not to be a party dampener, so they smile to hide the truth. Alexa then ask whether Cash played the guitar or not. "I do and great that you are sing. Maybe we can sing a song together?"Cash offered to Alexa. Then a single male voice join the group. It is had been a long time not heard or saw Cliff's face or voice.
The last moment where the young Serpent met the male Badger was on the train. Clifton gave his compliment about the party to Lindsey. "Clifton! It is so good to meet you here"They exclaimed with excitement. "Thanks"Cash stated their gratitude toward the boy. "It is depend on Alexa whether she wants to sing or not with me"Cash told Clifton.
At the mention of song request, Cash ears perked up. "What do you have in mind?"Cash inquires Clifton. "If I do not know the song, you can sing it to me and I try my best to follow suit"Cash uttered. Then Clifton shift his conversation to the girl that stand beside him. Cash has not seen the girl around or shared the same classroom with her.
With how big the school is, it is a understandable matter. Lindsey return Cash greet at them. Cash let out a chuckle seeing how excited about the prospect of Cash and Alexa play and sing together. Lindsey then greet Clifton and the girl that beside him. Now that Cash know her name is Alina. Cash took all surrounding.
It seems Lindsey, Lucia, Alexa, Clifton, and Alina are a residents of the same house or maybe they share the same classroom. Cash then look down on the Food and Drinks table. The lemon drops almost gone and the chocolate bar not as full as the beginning of the party. Cash took one of the chocolate bar and tore the wrapping.
They eat it piece by piece. Not need to get sugar high too early from this party. Cash then took a medium size plate and start fill it. They took a beef and egg sandwiches, some finger foods and a glass with black liquid in it. They put it on the plate. Cash let out a small laugh at Scarlett joke. "I am down for it. Are you, Lex?"Cash question the other red head girl.
Cash then cast a glance at the Wishing & Achievements Wall, itching to write down their dream and hope. "I will be over there"They pointing to the Music and Dancing table. "Feel free to accompany me"Cash mentioned to the party goers. With that Cash slip their sunglasses in front of their white tee shirt collar, pick up the plate and the glass and walk to where their guitar at.
Cash sat down on the long bench and start eating the food that on the plate.

Sorry if this is a bit wierd, it took a while to figure out when everything happens lolA new girl came into the courtyard carrying a guitar - a guitar! - emblazoned with the word Ironwoods. Lucia thought she had heard it somewhere before, but couldn't remember where.
"Nice get together you have here, Holly. Also nice seeing you here too Alexa and Adey" the girl said.
Holly? Adey?
"I do not think we ever met. My name is Cassandra, Cash for short" she then said, turning to Lucia.
"I'm Lucia," the girl said to Cash, holding out her hand. "Nice guitar! You know, if I was going to learn any instrument it would probably be the guitar. Or the piano."
Scarlett then said to Cash with a grin, "Hi Woody. If you don't mind, what's your first name? Because, you know, we only knew each other's surnames in the ABC."
Lucia opened her mouth to ask what the ABC was but someone cut in before her.
"Hi to you too. It's, uh, Phoenix. Phoenix Cassandra," Cash answered.
Ooh, thought Lucia, Phoenix is a beautiful name. She thought that is she had that name she would find it hard to choose between it and Cassandra.
Alexa then cut in, saying "Do you play? I sing."
"I do and great that you are sing. Maybe we can sing a song together?" Cash responded.
“That must be great Alexa! I’m very excited to see you to playing and singing together!” Lindsey said. Lucia couldn't help but think that her friend really was a true Hufflepuff.
Scarlett added in a joking tone, "You could be a musical duo!"
"Or trio!" Lucia added. "I sing as well. If we're doing a group sing along," she added, "I'd love to join in." Then she realised Cash might have meant just her and Alexa. "Or, you know, you could just do a duet."
"You two have met before? asked Lindsey, referencing Lucia and Scarlett.
"Yes, we met earlier in the year," Lucia confirmed, before catching sight of Alina Rosier and her boyfriend, Clifton Troublefield, walking into the courtyard, recieving greetings from the group. which i couldn't be bothered to write out due to the strangely long amount of time i already pent on this thing xD
"Nice guitar, Cassie," Clifton said. "Were you both about to play something? I'd make a song request, but I don't know what sort of music magic people listen to. Besides the school anthem, and I think I've heard that one enough times."
Lucia laughed and admitted to Clifton, "To be honest, I kind of prefer muggle songs most of the time."
"I do feel like we should have some music," Lucia said thoughtfully as Cash walked off to another pat of the courtyard. The former finished her chocolate bar and, seeing no bin, put the wrapper in her pocket. "I wouldn't mind singing something - in fact, I'd quite like to."
It had been a while since Lucia had been able to perform a song and she looked forward to doing so again if the others didn't mind.
Though, how many people were there? The girl didn't like performing infront of more than ten people if she could help it and counted the people on her fingers.
Lindsey, Scarlett, Alexa, Cash, Alina and Clifton. Six - not too bad then.

This was a nice gathering! She smiled at her friends as her and Clifton came closer and Clifton started talking with someone Alina had yet to meet but she smiled to her kindly and looked to her guitar. "I only know the piano," she said to Clifton upon his inquiry on if she played anything. He watched her, as if wanting more information and she smiled. "I guess you can be the judge on how good I am during the summer when you come visit," she smiled and squeezed his hand that he was already holding.
"But I'd love to hear you play," she spoke to Cassandra with the guitar and then looked to Lucia, "and hear you sing. You should do it!" She loved when other people shared their talents with the world. It was one of the reasons we were here, according to her, anyway.
She took one of the lemon drops that Alexa offered. "Thanks. You know me too well," and she popped it into her mouth before giving Clifton a shrug. "Sorry, I'd share but... but I'm not going to," she teased him before leaning up to gently kiss his lips, knowing just a small amount of the sugary sour flavor would be left upon them.

Alexa smiled at Scarlett and Lindsey when they suggested that she and Cash should perform something, but she blushed as well. She had blurted out that she could sing, but now was embarrassed for being the center of attention, however briefly. Intentionally or not, Lucia saved her, mentioning that she liked to sing as well. Alexa jumped on this idea.
“A trio would be awesome,” she said to the other girl. “Maybe after we eat?” She added, noticing that Cash had loaded up a plate and was now enjoying her meal off to the side.
She handed the lemon drops to both Clifton and Alina when they arrived, and grinned at Alina’s response. “That’s what friends are for,” she said, chuckling.
She was amazed to hear that her friend could play the piano. “I’d love to hear you play sometime,” she murmured to Alina privately, though Clifton could probably hear, as everyone else began talking to one another. The small crowd was a little much for Alexa, and she found herself wandering over to the food table and making herself a plate as Cash had. Lindsey had gotten a hold of some delightful foodstuffs, and Alexa was looking forward to enjoying it.
Smiling at everyone as she passed by with her full plate, Alexa went over to the wishes and memories board and studied it for a moment. She wondered what she should put down, if anything.

Lindsey had made such a nice gathering. Alina hated that she was late and hoped in being so, didn't make Lindsey think her little event didn't matter because she had tried to be on time!
Alina walked over to make a plate of snacks herself and found Alexa examining a presentation of sorts. She grabbed a napkin, placing it under her plate, and walked over to her, smiling to her. She felt bad that it was already the end of the school year and the two girls just didn't know each other that well. She had admired the girl's spirit ever since their venture into Hogsmeade.
"I've heard there's a piano here at school although I've never seen it," she hadn't been to those practice rooms and whatnot. She tended to avoid them because all the prima ballerina types were always there, so she heard. "Maybe over the summer you could come over for a sleepover...I could show you my not-so-professional piano skills and we could go swimming and such?" it was an offer that she hoped her friend would accept. She felt they could get along quite well if they just spent more time together.
"What's this?" she asked, now realizing the handwriting was all different. It hadn't been written out by one but a great many authors, giving up their responses. She saw the different pens placed around too, welcoming new words to anyone who passed.

A Friendly End Of Year Party

When Alexa saw Alina coming toward her and smiling, she grinned back at her and stepped to the side so that the other girl could see the board in front of her as well. They examined it together while munching on their snacks.
Alexa had barely processed Alina’s comment about the piano in school before the girl was inviting her over during the summer. Alexa’s eyebrows shot up, and she quickly snapped her mouth closed which had been gaping slightly. “Me? Come to your house? That would be… Incredible!” She broke into a wide, delighted smile. A sleepover! It would be so good to spend more one-on-one time with Alina, whom she liked very much, in spite of not knowing her terribly well.
Then Alina asked what the board was, and Alexa said, “The Dreams and Achievements board. I think I’ll write something on it later…” She trailed off, blushing slightly when she thought about what she was going to write. She simply wanted to write as an achievement that she had made good friends at Hogwarts, something she hadn’t been sure was going to happen in the beginning. But now one of those friends stood beside her, and had invited her over during the summer. Suddenly inspiration struck.
“Oh! And you are of course welcome anytime at my home in Scotland! It’s a farm… So it’s not exactly… Exciting or anything. But there are some cool places to explore. Maybe you could come sometime,” she finished lamely. She meant what she said though, Alina was more than welcome. She just didn’t know if the other girl would be bored at her place. About the only thing there was to do was explore the countryside, finding ruins of churches, graveyards, and if you went far enough, even castle ruins. Alexa thought it was great, and since Alina clearly liked to explore, maybe she would as well.
