May was having a great day. All her homework had been handed, and she had, for once, decent grades. As always, she wanted to celebrate, and what better way to celebrate than being alone? Well, she didn't want to be all alone. But she had to. She was all alone.
Really, she felt as thought she was going to die of cold out there, in the grounds, all alone, and scared. She was wearing a very comfy outfit, but really, with that weather, the comfy outfit was not enough. Shivering, the Hufflepuff went to sit by a bug tree with lots and lots of big leaves.
She, still shivering, took out her notebook and began to write...
Once upon a time....no, not that. In the begging of time there was....no! It's too obvious that it's a story of the first era...
She slapped the notebook on her lap and stared at the castle. There was nobody, May couldn't see a human being or a bird in the landscape. It was not an inspiration. It was nothingness, and May had to look at it.
About....five minutes passed, and May could feel rain drops falling into her hair, and some thunder rumbling. It was just four in the afternoon! What the hell was happening? She felt another shiver, but she didn't want to go to the castle. Too crowded, and noisy. Not the place for a dedicated novelist.
May drew out a great sight, and threw a pebble to the ground. She did not know why she was mad, but she did thought that something was troubling her. Her mother? No. Her family? No. School? No, no, no! She was the prisoner of her own thoughts, at that moment, and nothing could change that.

“You are moving too much!”
The voice came in a furious whisper, yet the euphonious tones were drowned in the rumbling outcome of the approaching storm. Tears now fell from the sky, showering the Hogwarts grounds lightly, dressing the branches and leaves with delicate droplets of fresh rainwater. Ariana prodded Janet in the back, the girl was shuffling around, obviously having taken no awareness to Ariana’s previous words. “Hey!” She spoke again, this time louder, in an effort to alert her best friends attention. “M-Maybe we should go back?” She asked hopefully. Janet was bound to be shocked by this statement, and Ariana waited for her reaction apprehensively. The brunette herself never really did back away from this sort of stuff, yet here she was backing out from their planned mischievous actions. The truth was, Ariana had never been so used to such cold weather before proceeding into Hogwarts, it had always been warm in Argentina. The chilly, biting climate of the Scotland highlands was certainly something to get used to. She was not about to admit this to anyone though, it wasn't as though she were scared of it, no it was just a dislike, a severe one.
She cast her gaze to the sky, where dark clouds had formed, blocking out the sun. Giving the landscape a sense of darkened aura. Ariana gulped, she hated the stupid wet rain clinging to her hair, exposing the curls that emitted only when it was wet. She hated the way her hoodie strings dripped with wet rainwater, swinging backward and forth as she walked. She hated it. Warm dry weather was much preferred, something she was used to, it was a familiar friend, yet cold proximity was enough to repulse her from stepping outside, which in actual fact she ended up doing quite a lot. Janet and her were off to the forest [where they were not really supposed to be, considering curfew was round the corner] but seeing as it was Janet and Ariana, they found the opportunity hard to reject, they rarely had free time to do such activities. Ariana was always busy with quidditch and the rest of the two girls' time was taken up by homework. She was now bitterly regretting her decision to take part in the ploy, as she had expected a more friendly sort of weather to accompany them in their plan. Janet was going to teach Ariana archery in the forest and the excited girl had willingly agreed, as this was one of the first of Janet's exciting plans that had actually made sense; she often forgot to include logic in her many enthusiastic suggestions.
They made their way to the edge of the forest, Ariana kicking stray leaves in a point of her frustration to the wet rain. It wasn't till she spotted another figure in the grounds that she doubled back in panic, her wet hair slapping across her face as she slipped, falling into the mud, knocking Janet in the process. For a second she was unaware of what had happened; her face was now one with the murky ground in which she was lying in. She sat up groaning, her palms dug into the ground as she spat the mud from her mouth, still gazing around for the person she had caught witness of in their midst. Despite her jeans being covered, as the rest of her body, in sloppy, dirty mud, she stood up- without a second thought, barely stopping to register the mess she was in. The girl narrowed her eyes, pulling Janet towards her “Someone is there...” She whispered, “If we don't want to get sent back to our dorms, we better go investigate, or keep out of sight” They certainly hadn’t had good luck in previous attempts at venturing out. Ariana found the memory of being confronted by four prefects too vivid to forget. Her hair was sticking to her face, it clung to her flushed cheeks, the curls dripping as she stood stationary, mannequin-still, in an effort to make out who was amidst them in the rainy hogwarts grounds.

Interacting with: @Ariana Walker @May MoonstarJanet darted from tree to tree, attempting to simultaneously shield herself from the droplets of rain showering down on her and provide protection from any watching eyes. She stopped at one tree and looked around to make sure her friend Ariana was keeping up. Janet was enjoying herself very much, there was nothing she enjoyed more than little adventures like this, the thrill and excitement of knowing you could be caught any minute, and that if you were the consequences would be severe was what made it exciting in her opinion. Ariana caught up with Janet, her mouth moved but the rumbling of thunder drowned her words. Janet looked questioningly at Ariana, silently asking her to repeat herself.
“M-Maybe we should go back?”
Janet was slightly taken aback at first.
"Go back!?" She asked incredulously, "Oh Ari it's just getting exciting!"
What could possibly make Ariana want to go back? it certainly couldn't be the fear of getting in trouble, Janet and Ariana were very similar in the fact that both of them were unmoved by tellings off, and detentions were considered something to be proud of between them. She glanced up at the sky,
"Is it the rain?"
Janet herself didn't mind the rain at all, but she knew Ariana had grown up in Argentina where it was always sunny. Oh well, Ariana was tough as nails and Janet knew she would soon get over it. Janet's hoodie was soaked through (she had chosen a dark grey one, better for sneaking around) and she quickly grew tired of the hood being up, dripping water down on her and obscuring her vision. She pulled it down and allowed the bullets of water to soak through her hair freely. Whilst she was preoccupied with tying the messy strands of her hair back Ariana had obviously noticed something, in an attempt to pull her behind a tree Ariana had tripped over and brought Janet down with her. Janet fell down face first in the grimy mud, she spat out some from her mouth, disgust written all over her face. But before she could push herself up Ariana grabbed her arm.
“Someone is there...” She whispered, “If we don't want to get sent back to our dorms, we better go investigate, or keep out of sight”
Janet glanced up and her eyes fell upon the silhouette of what was clearly a human being. Well Janet was definitely not too keen to be caught a second time near the forest out of bed, especially as (like the first time) she was planning to practice her archery. She had only dared to bring out her bow once before at hogwarts and that had not ended well, it had been confiscated and she had earned a telling off by four different prefects. But Janet was not one to give up and she had worked as hard as she could to try and make her own bow. It wasn't exactly a work of art, more like a stick with a piece of elastic attached than a bow but it would have to do. She answered back to Ariana in an almost inaudible whisper.
"Well the first option sounds a lot more exciting, unless you want to stay here in the mud."
She stayed on her belly and crawled through the muddy leaves scattering the floor until she was behind a tree and hidden from the mystery person. Janet slowly got to her feet and started moving, step by step, extremely slowly, so as not to be heard. Janet could actually be really quiet and stealthy when she felt the need (and now was one of those rare moments). She signaled for Ariana to follow her and flashed her a quick grin. This was the kind of thrill Janet enjoyed very much. She made a speedy decision to drop back onto her belly and try to get to that bush, she would then be able to observe who it was that happened to also be out on this rainy night. She was already extremely dirty and a bit more mud wouldn't make a difference, so Janet slowly crawled closer and closer, the mysterious someone getting more and more clearer the more she advanced. Once Janet had hidden herself behind the bush she peeped through it's leaves.
"May!?"

May couldn't find a first line for her supposed novel, but something stopped her. What was it? She could hear something behind some bushes, whispering and- "May?!"
With a shriek, she fell backwards into a muddy puddle and her notebook, her beautiful leather notebook got all soaked with the mud... "Janet?! A-Ari? W-whoa!" she had a questioning look on her face, and her eyes were wide open. She was soaked in mud from head to toes, and her wonderful chinese outfit was ruined. "What the hell are you guys doing here? You give me fright?!" well, it seemed like they wanted her to stumble backward into the mud, and give her a horrible fright. She didn't like that sort of prank, and even less when they had ruined her favorite outfit. Well, technically they hadn't ruined it because it was her that fell into the mud. Not that they pushed her or anything-
She glared at her friends, and her face was red. "Guess what? Now I'll need to take a bath. In this cold weather?! What are you two doing out here anyways? Sneaking outta school?" May's expression calmed a bit but she was still frowning and with her hands on her hips as thought she was mad at her brother. She rolled her eyes, finally, and smiled in the company of her friends. And, she laughed.

Skylar Celine Evans wasn’t usually a girl to brood outside in the rain. On the contrary, she disliked the damp ,wet substance nearly as much as she hated gryffindors, and this was certainly saying something.
This was why it was certainly unusual for her to be venturing outside when the atmosphere threatened to spill its tears everywhere at any second. Yet, she was undoubtedly bored; she had reluctantly completed all her homework, finished reading the books her mother had sent her, and couldn’t find a single gryffindor to pick on around the castle. It was highly unsatisfying. So she went out into the the grounds, careful not to ruin her expensive clothes and adjusting her wand in her pocket nicely.
Fresh drops of rainwater first spat down lightly, the girl winced at the touch of their tears, but carried on nevertheless. It was not long until something unusual caught her eye and he doubled back in mild curiosity, brown orbs dancing through the trees to fix their gaze upon three distant figures. By now it was pouring down. She was bitterly regretting ever coming out here, the girl certainly didn’t want to be caught by a prefect, no, not at all. Yet something inside her told her that this was indeed no bunch of prefects or professors for that matter; but mere students like her. The female snake furrowed her eyebrows, taking brisk [but still extremely careful] steps forward, she didn’t want to slip in such wet weather, how unfortunate would that be.
However upon reaching a distance that rendered close enough proximity to make out the three figures identity, Sky almost fell, shoes sliding around due to her sudden shock. Oh no. She turned, balancing herself, making a vain attempt to avoid such a potentially treacherous gathering. Those were definitely three people she did not want to see. However it seemed luck hadn’t favoured her today, for as she took quiet steps back towards the castle, she slipped again, only managing to stand up by placing her foot on a dry twig and grappling at thin air till she found a low enough branch to hold for support. In her haste to prevent her fall, she hadn’t realized the amount of noice she had made, and the slytherin froze, not knowing what to aniticipate next

”Well the first option sounds a lot more exciting, unless you want to stay here in the mud."
Janet’s sassy response only prompted Ariana to roll her eyes in annoyance, “Ha ha, very funny” she mused, ignoring the girl and taking steps further forward. Janet flashed her a grin which the brunette returned, only she skipped the rolling around in the mud, for if this really was a prefect they were about to run into, then they would have a hard time explaining why they had just crawled out from the bushes looking like they had just survived WWI.
“What are yo-“ but she stopped herself, noticing the identity of the lone person. This wasn’t a prefect, nor a professor. This was May. May Moonstar! Her guard eased down, Ariana leapt out from the bushes, which on second thought probably wasn’t a great idea; for May shrieked in freight, falling into the mud. Ariana couldn’t help but splutter out a surprised laugh as she saw this, for the girl looked incredibly silly.
"What the hell are you guys doing here? You gave me fright?!"
Ariana couldn’t help the roll of her eyes and the smirk that came to her face. “We...whatever, just wanted to take stroll out here…what about you?” She picked up the sodden notebook and handed it to the girl. “Were you drawing? Writing?”
May continued blabbering, although Ariana really didn’t hear half of it. The hufflepuff girl had a frown on her face and hands placed on her hips as though that looked intimidating. Ariana couldn’t help but glance around indolently until it went silent for a bit amidst Mays laughter. The beater glanced at Janet and gave a cough, “Well…” she started, swinging her arms rather extravagantly and shifting her gaze across the grounds. The smirk that had initially captivated her beautiful features had now been replaced with a sheepish look as she grappled for a lie which she could use to get away. “Janet and I...better be on that stroll right?” She couldnt tell May the real reason they were here, she would ruin their fun.
Ariana turned swiftly to leave glancing over her shoulder, and putting up a lazy hand in action of a wave. “Well, it was nice seeing you Ma-“ she froze, halting her speech, her gaze fixed on something Janet and May couldn’t see. Her back was to the two of them and if they attempted to call her she stood silent, focusing. She had heard a noise, one that certainly proved to be a humans. Hues darted to the spot where the sound had issued from and they narrowed upon instinct, annoyance building up at the sight of such dislike. Instead of taking the approach of a yelling toddler, Ariana stepped forward rather quietly taking the sheepish look on Sky’s face to her advantage. Janet was possibly the only one who know what was coming, for when Ariana went silent, this was dangerous.
The gryffindor hadn’t seen Sky since the journal incident in the empty classroom. So had she decided to show her wretched face today? Out here? Why? The audacity!? But then again Ariana knew full well, Sky did what she wanted- that was one of the many few things that rendered similar between the two of them. The knowing smirk was plastered onto her face again, tugging at her lips as she advanced, not a care for the pouring rain at this point. She was lucky that she had gotten taller during the year. Ariana reached her and said in a rather cold voice. “Has spying become your pet peeve now Evans? Nothing better to do than follow my majestic, talented arse around?” The comment held humour in a mocking tone, the chill of such hatred was almost vibrating through the evening air. Previous plans crashed down nastily in the back of her mind as only one thought entered her head at that moment.
She wanted answers.
