Roleplaying as NPC Gregorí Erkens
Gregorí stood under a tree where it was not very crowded around him. A plate on his hand, filled with barbecued chicken meat cut into pieces, and the Mexican enjoyed himself. Really, the food was delicious, although unfortunately he only liked chicken. A bit of a pity too that it was really hot now that summer had truly come, no matter what people always said about the UK being rainy and grey all the time.
Even though the boy was having a good time, well at least an okay time, his face was stern and serious as usual. Three or four students passed by, and for some moment it was as if they were going to stare at him, before quickly realising what they had done and looked away for the sake of politeness. However, this did not stop the kids from whispering to each other.
"I wonder why he is so angry."
"Perhaps it was this hot weather? Or did he just got into a heated argument with someone?"
But Gregorí did not hear their whispers. He was too busy enjoying his snack, and looking for Drew Lycan. Where was his closest friend again? Oh, there he was, talking to a red-headed girl. That should be the cousin Drew had told him about. After the two parted ways, Gregorí waved to his friend, hoping to get his attention so that at least he did not have to spend the whole afternoon alone.

Logan smiled as she happily munched on her kebab, her plate full of watermelon, cantaloupe, and other fruits. For once in her life she was in a good mood and didn't think that anyone or anything was going to ruin it. Looking around for something to do, the Hufflepuff noticed some students chatting. One of them she slightly recognized decided to head over to them. What was the worst that could happen? They tell her to leave them alone.
Once close enough, she noticed that the boy she thought recognized was extremely red and looked like he was not having a good time in the slightest. She realized that he was one of her tentmates. She hadn't met him before but had seen him in the great hall every once in a while. Honestly, she didn't know if she was going to be able to help, but she could at least try.
"Are you okay?" Logan asked as she walked over to the boy who seemed to be slightly disoriented while talking to the two other students, "You don't look so good." Logan didn't know if she should be sympathetic or not, but the boy looked absolutely miserable, even in his white shirt and floppy hat.
She herself had a bit of a red tint to her pale skin, but her red dress just made it look like a bit of a reflection. Her plate of fruit sat in one hand while the other rested on her hip, making her seem a little more confident then she really was. Logan hoped that she would at least be able to help the boy a little bit.

Had Callie absolutely lost her mind? Eli couldn't possibly eat everything there was to offer, the food seemed to go on for days, and that was before one even took into account the grilled goods that Caradoc was making. It would surely be next to impossible to simply eat everything they had on offer there. You'd have to be absolutely huge. Not to mention that Elias was trying his best to stay in tip-top shape currently. He needed to be at a well rounded fighting weight if he planned on making it onto Ravenclaws quidditch team next year, which he was positive he was going to be capable of accomplishing. He had to do it if only to prove that he was once again better than Thomas Baines at something. "You're being ridiculous Callie, I can't eat until I'm about to pop, I have to stay in shape for if I even hope to make the quidditch team next year!"Interactions: OpenMentions: @Callie Jensen, @Eyre Reeves, @Logan Baird
Just before Elias was about to begin making his way towards the grill and ask Caradoc for a few of his barbecued goodies, Eyre walked over, and it was safe to say that the Gryffindor did not exactly look all that well. "Gosh, are you okay, Eyre?" Not only was he as bright as a neon sign, but he also appeared to have dressed himself in the dark that morning. What on earth was Eyre wearing? Why did he have such a ridiculous hat on? All questions he would be asking the boy once he had cooled him down somewhat or gotten him help from a professor. What if the boy had heat stroke? That would surely suck, especially on the first day of summer camp.
Turning his attention once more to the new girl who approached them, Eli wasn't quite sure if he'd met her before. It probably wasn't uncommon for people in separate houses to only ever meet each other in passing in the corridors and never speak a word to each other ever again at Hogwarts with how expansive the castle was. "Sorry to bother you right as you arrive, but can you go get a cold glass of water? Or a professor?" Come to think of it, the professor was probably a better option, they'd surely know how to deal with Eyre's current dilemma. "I think Eyre has sunstroke."

Drew finally found Gregorí, his friend from Illvermorny. Or, well, Gregorí found him. Seeing the frantic waving of his friend, Drew swiftly pushed through the crowd and made his way over to where he was sitting under a tree, the paper plate with the burger on it in his hand. "Gregorí! There you are. I was looking for you." Drew came over to the Mexican boy, a large grin on his face, and stood against the tree all cute-like the tree with his friend Gregorí, marking the less-popular kid as his. Being your stereotypical extrovert "jock," no one had ever, in a thousand years, ever, expected Drew to become friends with someone like Gregorí, let alone really close friends. "How are you, man? There's lots of different foods over there... No chicken, though, sadly." Drew took a hearty bite of his burger, his eyebrows raising in surprise- it was actually really good. "Not to criticize the stereotypical barbecue, but did they use magic in this burger or something? It's really really good," he said through a mouthful of food.
Drew looked over and saw Rose talking to the one and only Alexi Petrov. Drew went to Ilvermorny, and be was a first year boy, but he still knew about Alexi. He treated girls like toys- once he got bored with one, he would move onto another.

Alexi kissed Rose's hand as she introduced himself. Rose did not miss the flirty spark in his eye as he became a swooning girl magnet. He complimented her beauty and she smiled and said, "Thank you." But Rose didn't want to be competing for this boy, even if it was a really cute boy. She only wanted to make friends. Plus, he had plenty of girls to flirt with. Rose stepped back, said, "I'll see you later," and walked away. She wasn't sure if anyone heard her, but no one seemed to call after her, and if they did, she didn't hear them. Rose sat by the fire and finished her burger, which seemed average to her, watching the flames dance around in the fireplace all mesmerizing like. She got up to get something else to eat and, on her way away from the food, saw another girl munching on some food. She looked a little familiar, but they had never met before. "Oh, hi there. I'm Rose Moon, from Hogwarts." she introduced herself with a friendly smile. Her voice was soft and sweet and American. This girl couldn't be mean, Rose decided as she saw the look on her face.

"One measly little burger isn't going to do much harm to your qudditch dreams, silly!" Callie snickered and crunched on another celery stick rather happily. The idea of quidditch was still an odd one to the muggle-born girl and she didn't quite understand the entire appeal of playing. Perhaps this was down to the fact that even today after multiple flying classes Callie was still rather petrified of the idea. Regardless Callie enjoyed watching others play the sport and was happy enough sticking to the sidelines cheering the others on. Hopefully Elias would become one of the people she was cheering along soon, it would certainly make things more interesting. Even if she already knew he'd flaunt it around Thomas which would probably spark even more bickering.
Much like Elias, Callie was originally heading over to get her food grilled when she found herself stopped in her tracks by the sudden appearance of a rather sunburned looking boy. He had questionable fashion sense to say the least but Callie wasn't one to judge, perhaps he liked dressing himself in the dark! "Me? Of course I'm not Thomas! I'm much better looking." Callie giggled at the comparison before noticing just how bad his sunburn was. "Ouch! That sunburn looks nasty! You should have some water..I think there's some over here.." Whilst Elias talked to the boy Callie briefly skittered off to get some water.
When she arrived back with the group armed with two cups of water Callie managed to trip over a rock, sending the one of the glasses of water flying towards Eyre's head. Thankfully she managed to save the second glass of water when Callie managed to straighten herself and return fully to the small group. "Oops! My bad!" Callie apologised before awkwardly pushing the salvaged glass of water into his hands with an apologetic grin on her face. Afterwards she made sure to give Logan a wave after realising someone else was also checking up on the poor sunburned boy.
Thankfully Callie didn't have time to set in the embarrassment of her own clumsiness for long as an vaguely familiar redhead approached introducing herself as Rose. Callie couldn't quite place where she knew her face from but she was certain she hadn't yet spoken to the girl. "Hey there! I'm Callie! Ravenclaw at your service!" She gave Rose a mock salute accompanied by a toothy grin. "Do you have any burn healing paste? This guy is kinda extremely sunburned and I just spilled a glass of water all over his head..." At the mention of the apparent burn victim Callie gestured to the questionably dressed Eyre.

Reaching the stand Milena was secretly glad that the teacher had greeted her first. This way she could gauge the teacher’s greeting to gauge the level of formality she would have to use – it did not seem particularly high. That made things easier. Her English would probably be slightly stilted anyway and make up for any lack of proper formality if she did miss her guess.
Giving the teacher a confident but restrained smile, Milena raised a hand in greeting. “Hello Professor…?” She politely drailed off, inquiring after the professor’s name. “A good day to you. It is nice to meet you.” Not quite sure on the protocol whether she should introduce herself or not, she merely gave a nod and added: “Yes, please. Something to drink sounds excellent. What do you have to offer?” She was not entirely sure if the same drink selection that she could expect in Durmstrang would be present at an Hogwarts-organized event and thought it better to inquire. She did not wish to make it awkward by asking for something that could not be provided.
Deciding that it would be impolite not to introduce herself after inquiring after the teacher’s name, she then added an “I’m Milena Sergejevna Orlova.” after all. Still smiling at the teacher, she discreetely took another quick look around if she could spot any (additional) familiar faces in the growing crowd.

Eyre's world was a blur at that point. He grabbed onto his friend's shirt in disbelief, a goofy smile on his face. "Smun smoke? Naaaaaaaaaawww... Ely, you're hilarious." He guffawed, his delirious sunglass-covered eyes looking over to Logan and then to her plate of food. Eyre wanted a piece of watermelon so bad. It was like a mirage in his desert full of sand and rocks and... what was he talking about?...Maybe he was worse off for wear than he thought.
Without fail, he gently put his hands on the plate of the fruit that Logan was holding. Maybe this was enough to save him from his terrible sunburnt and delirious state.
"I...need this...Please..." He said, sinking onto the ground as his knees buckled underneath him, taking the fruit down with him. He began to eat the fruit as if it were his life blood, but simultaneously at the speed of a chimpanzee who hadn't quite learned how to use his opposable thumbs yet.
He hoped that someone would have a trusty spell that would be able to get him out of his predicament. Thankfully, ailments were often treated that way, so he knew that he would feel less like the human embodiment of an egg on a hot sidewalk soon. However, until then, he just had to wait it out.
While he was waiting, though, something a lot more annoying happened instead.
A cup of water went soaring at his head, crashing into his noggin and nearly knocking himself onto the ground. His mouth was full of fruit at this point, and the bits that he had left over on the plate had spilled onto the grass, virtually tainting it.
"-Hhy! Mahfroof!" Eyre grumbled through a mouth full of cantaloupe. If he was in his right mind, he would have been rightfully upset. But instead, he was just grumpy.
one morning this sadness will fossilize and i will forget how to cry. ☆

His lips brushed her knuckles delicately and Ariana smiled, a light blush adorning her cheeks as she watched him introduce himself to her and the surrounding girls. The young beater wasn't usually one to pathetically fawn over boys endlessly, in fact she was quite headstrong when it came to that sort of thing, however it wouldn't hurt to mix things up a bit this time, would it?
"Why did no one think to tell me that Hogwarts does not girls, Hogwarts has angels?"
She gave a little laugh, “Моя любовь, I am far from an angel, do not be deceived, however feel free to think that way- no doubt you will be surprised sooner or later.” Although the girl did not commonly speak Russian, she knew a few words here and there, her brief knowledge in the language was certainly turning out useful in this case.
By now it wasn't just the three of them that accompanied the boy in his introduction, several others had joined in the greeting, and Ariana cast smiles over to most of them, wondering whether she should step away and let others become acquainted. It was then however that another voice captured her attention, along with a small punch to her arm. Ariana turned her head, bemused, only to come face to face with another of her tent-mates and dear friend.
“So there you are! You two were supposed to wait for me!”
Ariana laughed at the girls grumble, “Relax Ivy, if we hadn't left we wouldn't have met dear Alexei here,” she gestured to the boy. “Now that would have been a disappointment.” A brief smile was sent in his direction before she addressed Ivy again, “Why don't I show you the food assortments- Lizzie made me drop half of mine on the way here,” She sent a playful glare towards the girl next to her, “So I could do with a refill.” The gathering was indeed becoming a little crowded, and after all the boy seemed as though he had enough girls to talk to for the time being, surely he wouldn't notice if a few of them disappeared. Yet Ivy seemed to have other ideas, “And uh... who are you?" she asked lightly, directing her question at the durmstrang boy.Translation:

“No, no, just a hobby.” She managed to offhandedly answer Caradoc and give the girl a returned nod of acknowledgment before they went their own way for the time being. Santario focused on creating interesting light flares through her lens, leading to what she hoped would be interesting photos later on. Now that more people started to arrive, taking photos got easier. More Hogwarts’ students showed up, and she was sure she heard something that sounded like Russian from close to the drink table. The only thing she wasn’t sure of was is any of the Americans had shown up or not. Regardless she would float on the outskirts of the area, snapping photos of people going about their business just like she had at the ball.Interacting| @Alan Vanes

It wouldn’t take too long, however, before someone, she knew recognized and approached her. Alan Vanes would be that person this time. As he approached, she would snap a photo of the metamorph before tucking her camera into her bag for the moment. It was better to put it away when she was socializing as it was less likely to get damaged at that point. Alan mentioned not knowing she was going to be there, and San could have sworn she had mentioned it at one point, but perhaps she hadn’t. “Hey Alan, Yeah, I’m here.” She greeting him with a soft smile as she reached up to adjust her locket before crosses her arms over herself. “Couldn’t miss these kinds of photo opportunities, plus I’d love to see us smash Durmstrang into the ground.” Anything was better than going back to France right now; she wasn’t ready to face those emotions yet. She wasn’t confident she would ever be prepared to face them, but San knew she couldn’t run forever. So she bought herself a month.

The girl entergetically introduced herself as Callie (a cool name), complete with a salute and a grin and asked if she had any burn healing cream. Rose's mind flashed through her stuff and she replied, "I have some in my tent, let me get it real quick."
There was probably some kind of spell to heal it, but Rose didn't know it, and I'd she tried it she would probably just make it worse. And she didn't want that to be her first impression on these friendly people.
Five minutes later, she was back at the barbecue and handed the medium-sized bottle of sunburn cream to Callie. "I hope your burn gets better," she said awkwardly to the sunburnt guy, a spark of concern in her emerald eyes. He was... strangely dressed, she noticed. She introduced herself in her soft American voice, "What's your name? I'm Rose, from Hogwarts."
Seeing that the strange guy seemed just a little... Well, he looked a little insane at the moment, she suggested kindly, "Maybe you should go back to your tent... Or at least under a tree. The sun may be setting, but we really don't want that sunburn to get any worse."
