Being a muggle-born and a regular visitor to London Callie was no stranger to the sights she had the pleasure of seeing throughout the entire day. Although that didn't make them any less exciting as Callie simply adored the exploration even if it was of familiar sights. Throughout the entire walk to their destination Callie hummed along to a random tune that had gotten stuck in her head all while basking in the general chaos of London. It was such a welcome change of pace from the past few months in Hogwarts and from the general quiet of her hometown which awaited her soon.

When the group arrived at the museum Callie's face seemed to light up at the mention of wax. She remembered this place from her last visit to London alongside her parents last summer and utterly adored how strange the place was. Perhaps the most prominent memory of the previous trip was Callie tripping over her own feet and nearly sending one of the figures tumbling to the ground. While thankfully such an incident was avoided Callie couldn't help but fear a repeat, so she made sure to move with a considerable degree of caution. After all the poor girl was blighted by the curse of clumsiness and the last thing she wanted was to get in trouble for tripping over or doing something stupid on accident.

The instruction not to touch anything only further hammered home Callie's desire not to break anything so she kept her hands firmly tucked into her jacket pocket. That is until Callie took notice of a pamphlet sitting nearby which she took a hold of and decided to skim over, giggling at a few of the pictures contained within it. She got so distracted by the odd looking pictures that Callie barely realised the group was moving forward until she was lightly pushed forward by a passing member of the group. "Huh? Oh! Sorry!" The young girl mumbled as she moved forward, tripping over her feet in the process which sparked a light laugh from the girl. Clearly in spite of her precautions to avoid a repeat of last time her own clumsiness was well and truly here to stay.

Despite living a mere half-hour drive from the outskirts of London, it would probably come as a shock to many that young Elias Weare had never been into the great big city. Whether that was due to his father's military history and the man never particularly wanting to be away from the garrison or due to his mother's magical background, however, was up for debate. Taking all of that into consideration, the moment that the boy had heard about a trip to London, he had pounced on the opportunity to attend.

Having thoroughly enjoyed all the sightseeing that the group had already taken part in, the wizard was only growing more and more excited as they drew closer and closer to Madame Tussauds. Even with all the walking, they had been doing, Elias was practically bursting with energy in fact. A wax museum sounded immensely interesting to the boy and he couldn't possibly let himself get left behind or somehow end up arriving there after the rest of the group due to getting lost in London or something along those lines.

Finally, as the group stepped into the building Eli glanced around in awe, this place truly was incredible. Allowing himself a moment to collect a pamphlet about who all the wax dudes were, the boy began to look around. After what in his eyes seemed like an appropriate amount of time admiring a few of the many wax figures (he mainly looked at the footballers he had idolized prior to shifting his focus to quidditch), the boy recalled that the Professor who had brought them here had instructed them to head towards the science section, and so, he did just that!

This was not Bridget's first time in Muggle London. She had grandparents and cousins living in the city, after all, and her family had done a bit of sightseeing during their visits. Nevertheless, today's trip had been a fun experience and it wasn't even over yet. So perhaps she already knew a lot about Muggle culture from being one for the first eleven years of her life, but it had still been eye-opening. The decision to come along had been easy--there wasn't a whole lot to do at the encampment and why would a knowledge-thirsty girl like herself not come?

The day was hot, but not terribly so. Not for Bridget, at least. So long as she was in shorts and a tee-shirt, as she was now, the heat had never been too much of a bother for her. With the recent prolonged exposure to the sun, the faint freckles dotting her nose and cheeks had become more noticeable. Her legs were getting sore from all the walking, but their final destination made it worth it.

A museum she hadn't been to, specifically of wax figures. The incoming third year had pretty much exhausted Edinburgh's offering of museums last summer when she'd needed to get away from her family, so a new place to explore was always welcome. The time spent with Professor Galim was also appreciated since, as a Muggle-born, she had no intention to take her class next year. Her elective slots would instead be filled with Care of Magical Creatures and Ancient Runes since magical creatures kept attacking them, runes interested her, and she didn't really believe in divination, considering it a waste of time.

Following the Professor into the building, she hung off to the side while other students started a conversation. She recognized Reid Kovacs as Hufflepuff's Reserve Beater and Opeila Seilun, but didn't know the others gathered. The Slytherin wasn't interested in meeting them, though, or joining their conversation. Not right now. Turning her gaze to the nearest information panel in the Science room, she started reading, arms crossed. Perhaps with it being summer and all she should've prioritized social interaction over learning, but it was hard to go against her tendency to observe before acting. Besides, since their safety seemed to be under constant threat, it was hard to let her guard down and just be a kid again.

Lindsey merrily handed Opeila one of the brochures. She’s very glad that this kind and friendly girl still remembered her.
“Um, can you go and buy me one Lindsey?” May asked, while giving her two pennies.
Lindsey suddenly found out that she didn’t offer one for May.
“Hey actually they are free!” she gave one of the brochures she got from the entrance to May. “Muggles tend to give out advertisements free.”
The girl than noticed the elder boy.
“Um…would you like one too?” she offered, rather shyly. Lindsey really didn’t know many older students. But this boy seemed very friendly, so she’s glad to talk.
He suggested to visit the science room
“Good idea. Let's go.” Opeila answered, while moving to the direction.
Lindsey followed. She had read from the brochure that the wax people in this museum were all famous ones. So who would be in the science section? Some scientists? She wondered.
Wait, but what’s a “scientist”?
She remembered that the old muggle man next door called himself a “scientist”. Hmm…he did use some potions and machines to work when he’s not yelling at the Springhall kids.
“Um, just wondering, what’s a scientist?” she asked May, Opeila and the older boy.
At least, one of the three would know it.

As the daughter of the person who donates as well helped the funding of many organizations, historical places, heirlooms, companies, and all those other stuff. It had some perks in it, but obviously Selene didn't really care much about it-the only perks you get would be nominated, invited to certain events or galas. A shame tho that Selene couldn't bring some smoothies she bought on her way to the museum, it was damn well refreshing to see technology at its peak here in her hometown, she really miss coming here often with her father. But like every other adult, he turned into nothing more than a ruthless money-maker, sure some parts of his youth is still there, but they're merely parts of what he used to be. When he actually loved her, did he even? Or was it a lie? Deception is a well-known trait inside the Ackermanns after all. You just don't know who is who. Either way, while going wearing her silk handkerchief on her wrist. She looked around, her tiny feet continuing to walk making small footsteps sounds. Selene despises summer, but it doesn't mean she hates it- looks at the brighter side of things! The company will get more benefits from the sales that are going to take place for all refreshing summer products, stock getting overload, more modeling projects getting held for the summer. Selene couldn't help but let out a sigh, her father knows better than everyone that Selene was ready to help him. But his reasoning would be that she's too young to do so, Selene is an heiress, it's her duty to be ready at such a young age. Hey, at least she's not some random who was in a mafia and suddenly rose to the top when they're sixteen or something, god, too many ignorant books in the young-teens section nowadays. Unfortunately, she was still not allowed to bring any objects from her home to the quidditch grounds or any school activities, including her precious phone and other electronics. I mean, she already perfected her dad's signature as well helping with a budget since 4th grade that's saying something alright.

Pushing her glasses back, examining the entrance to the museum. Wax figures wonder how they all look like past midnight. Reminds Selene of that one show she watched as a kid, Gravity Falls and Night At The Museum. Selene was not much of the type to admire other people, but hey, it's summer. You gotta do a lot of things before you die, who knows? Something just might happen, after all, Hogwarts was never a safe place, to begin with. With everything that happened, it was a good choice for the teacher and the staff for trying to distract and give the students time to relax, away from their school. She once more looked around to examine everyone, she saw the one and only Seilun with another girl and someone who seems to also be a Hufflepuff, someone who's in the quidditch team. She would want to join the trio on their little conversation, but Selene had other plans.

She took the museum's pamphlet, looking through it. Reminds her of that one weapon museum she visited as a child. Hey, the more you learn the better your aim is. If that even made sense. Then, she saw a girl wearing glasses. Who accidentally, tripped on her won. Hopefully, the girl was not a klutz, that much...Selene cleared her throat, wearing her yellow sunglasses before walking towards the girl.

"You look like you've been before if my gut tells me correctly, that is."
Selene said bending down to the girl's level, why didn't she help her? God no, Selene was not here to make friends, rather, to distract her mind rather than looking into lifeless eyes.

A wax museum. Why not? Rose had northing else to do, really. Plus, it would never hurt to know more random facts about the world and the people in it, right? Feeling slightly awkward, Rose followed Maya Galim. They kind of just wandered around, Rose simply admiring the exhibits in the museum.
Rose was wearing a black spaghetti-strap romper with a jean jacket over it, complete with some sandals on her feet. Her amber hair was halfway up in a braid.
She was kind of pushing the introvert inside of her, meeting new people and going to a lot of many-people events, but she knew if it got too much, she could escape from the world for a few moments.
Also feeling a little lonely and awkward for being alone, Rose approached a boy that was with their group, who also seemed alone. Inwardly crossing her fingers in hopes that this would go well, Rose said, "Hey there," she introduced herself in her soft voice, "I'm Rose... These really are interesting, aren't they?" Her voice was heavily American accented and her emerald eyes seemed to scan him for a split-second. "What house are you in? If I took a random guess, I would say... Gryffindor? I don't know, really."

“Um…would you like one too?” Eyes brandished with a certain look of curiosity prompted the student to look away from the feature across the hall to Lindsey. Since he didn't know if she had enough or needed to get more, he didn't feel like looking for one anymore and certainly didn't want to give her a hard time about it, he respectfully declined.

"Thas' alright, think I'll manage. Dun' wanna trouble you anyway, appreciate it though." There were placards near the wax figures anyway, he couldn't imagine that he'd miss out too much. Plus his assumption was that Professor Galim and whoever she asked to accompany her would explain everything eventually. Reid matched their stride, his hands in his pockets as his shoulders pulled tightly to himself to avoid bumping into people.

He had grown a lot since his first year at Hogwarts, taller with the physique and features of his muggle father. However his heart and his eyes were gifts from his mother, a kind boy deep down with a pair of dark evergreen eyes. His head turned at the question that the new girl imposed when he entered the science room. “Um, just wondering, what’s a scientist?” It wasn't unknown to him, he was largely a muggle raised kid who knew common terms.

But was it that foreign to students who weren't that exposed to the muggle world? "Type of people who study science, but that can be a lot of things. Like you can be a scientist of biology, but thas I think called ... a biologist." He cleared his throat and rocked on his heel for a second. "The lot of 'em go to a Uni, a sort of muggle school for when you're an adult."

He was old enough to know about all of that, the life he could have led if he didn't go to Hogwarts. The school would've been a normal school, he'd graduate, and then go on to some college for a major. But it seemed his life was going to be something different, where he'd someday be working in the magical world as who knows what. But at least he wasn't going to be a scientist, they kind of sounded boring. He turned his head to Lindsey again. "Oh, sorry 'bout that. Forgot to introduce myself, I'm Reid."

Wearing his very comfortable color scheme of black and white, as he had sandals on which flip-flop softly in the background as people were talking. Remi, the little first year who didn't even get to start his first year in school but first couple of days in magical summer camp. But lacking any spells, it was feeling too muggle for him and it was starting to ache his psyche, his mind would ponder rather often on how the hell can Muggles survive without magic? Did they just deal with that life itself is pretty dull.

So, why did Remi go to a Muggle Museum trip? Well, two reasons: One, talk to more first years and try talking to them about how Hogwarts life is going to be like. Reading books about the matter can only go so far and his parents, being foreign and somewhat new to Britain's wizard laws, have a lesser clue than he did. Two, he liked looking at muggle history and how they often didn't learn from their mistakes from the past and plus, how aloof they were as they literally stared in the eyes of magic and constantly refusing to accept the fact that magic exist.

It was cute, really.

Sighing in boredom as he looked around in the Museum, a couple of fun thoughts was drawing into his mind,
'Maybe I could do some Muggle-baiting, that'll be fun.'
His eyes looked lazily at this ugly muggle family and their kid who kept on screaming on wanting some snacks.

Remi's face looked grizzly at the family and hoping the other students didn't notice Remi's rather disgusted face at these muggles. Well, disgust and minor concern, wondering who's going to deal with these rather disruptive muggles.

People didn't really know how he didn't hate muggles, but if they fit the stereotype of being intolerant and annoying, he loses it.

And he would do something! If only he took his wand with him and even then, he doesn't know any spell plus, he'll get booted from Hogwarts without going to the school itself.

He looked at a bigger group and finally linked up with them, but a girl caught his eye. She looked like a first year who's name was Rose.

Uncaring about social faux pas he might do, he leaned his head between the group, interjecting his opinion into the persons,
"I might be in Ravenclaw, hopefully. That or, Slytherian."
The unknowing Gryffindor said.
"And I'm Remius." He grinned.

A friendly boy came up to Rose and introduced himself. He was very brave to do that, most people would just tell him to leave them alone, but Rose was lonely and he seemed in need of a friend. "Oh, hi... Remius. That's a cool name. I'm Rose, by the way... Rose Moon." she introduced herself in her soft, American voice. "I wouldn't know, I've just met you," this was her reply as she smiled at his comment about houses. "And even if I knew you as well as you knew yourself, I still wouldn't have much of a guess which house you were in." Her emerald eyes flashed a knowing look. "So... You're going to be a first year in the fall?" She asked, attempting to make conversation. "I just finished my first year, maybe I could answer some questions you have?" she commented, attempting to help the friendly guy. Hogwarts was so big... She didn't know if she would ever figure out all of its secrets, but she could always try to make him feel more at home there. "Do you have any siblings?" she inquired, wondering if she knew one of them or if they could connect through that.

Rose.

Rose Moon.

Taking the time to let Rose's name to set in his mind as to not forget it. It was always interesting to ask about people's names, many wizards had very interesting last names and it came to Remi's attention only now that his name was rather...

Plain. It came from the Muggle Roots, Yao. Either it came from the very old chinese surnames from the past, meaning of eight kings but there was a couple of discrepancies about that whole idea.

He knew fully well him or his family didn't come from China. Asking his father, he learned that the Muggle creation myth of African Lore. Yao meant, "Born on Thursday." Or born to the Earth, meaning him and his family were purely natural, not holding the pure-blood curse of blood purity and gaining birth defects like going mad.

But that was boring, the Eight Kings idea was way more cool than the boring Born on Thursday shtick, something about hiding, marriage deals with other pure-bloods in the area, blah-blah-blah. If he told any of his friends from Hogwarts, they would always get on his behind about being born on Thursday and how his parents thought that would be a good idea for a name.

He was born on a Friday!

As Rose said his name was cool, he coo'd playfully, saying,
"Staaap."
He waved his hand at her, but liking the recognition that his made-up "real" name was cool - No, it was awesome.
"Rose is a nice name too. After those thorny plants."
He nodded, realizing that the house question couldn't be answered right away as how could she know? She was just a student.

"So... You're going to be a first year in the fall?"

Remi nodded his head,
"Yeah, first person in my family to go to Hogwarts too. Family can't help me wit' much so..."
He said glumly, but thankfully, Rose came to the rescue!

"I just finished my first year, maybe I could answer some questions you have?"

"Questions? Mate -"
The first time, and very rarely, use British slang and you can see him smirk once he said it,
"I got too many. I can name a few though. First, what does the Hogwarts lot do with squibs? A second year girl told me that there's no squibs in Hogwarts and I find that hard to believe. Two, what's up with your accent?"
He rose his eyebrow casually, interested on the girl's origins.

"Do you have any siblings?"

"Too many."
He said gravely but it was clear he was joking,
"Nah, I got three sisters. Only boy, they're all doing their own thing. One's in the states, the other two are doing something with enchanting stuff like papa's friend. Might do the same thing once I get older."
He said plainly.
"What's your plan for the future?"
He asked Rose, finally ignoring this boring Muggle history and paying attention to someone finally interesting.
