Errand Glitter and be Gay Courtyard Location

For Errand: Glitter and be Gay
The courtyard was always quite the view to see. While the vast majority of the place consisted of stone with only some greenery adorning the walls, there was a certain kind of charm to it that made the place beautiful. All in all, it was the perfect place for students to have a more private space to socialize with their peers while also enjoying the warm sunlight. That was perhaps one of the many reasons why this particular location was so popular, especially later in the day when classes were over. But the courtyard could always use a bit more colour, especially now.

Today, or rather, this month, was Pride Month. It was a month to celebrate the influence LGBT people had around the world and raise awareness. But more than that, it was a month of love and acceptance. It was a time for people to celebrate and embrace who they identified as, whether they were gay, lesbian, transgender, or anything else. And because of that there would be new changes to the courtyard.

Various supplies could be found in small baskets near the entrance. Students would be able to find an assortment of different crafting supplies, including a large number of paint cans along with paint brushes, fabric, glue, coloured paper, and anything else the students might need. There were ladders placed around the walls, in case people wanted to reach higher for decorating. The sky’s the limit on where people could decorate. They could have even renovated the floor, or the fountain sitting in the centre of the yard.

If any of the students had any questions or otherwise needed something from her, Saskia would be found wandering within the courtyard, but nevertheless ready to help if needed. Otherwise, she would leave the students to their own devices and let them decorate to their hearts’ content.

"Honestas ante honores."

[font=Segoe Print]Well, allegedly, pride was going around.

It was about damn time, Rafa was getting pretty tired of being the only one that thought highly of themselves. It was strange, how many people looked down upon self-pride, despised it, as if it were the most terrible of traits, a monster shuttered away in the closet one called the deepest, darkest recesses of their minds. The same place one stooped to place their monsters, demons, worst secrets and feared weaknesses. Positively silly. On the contrary, pride was a great thing, at least in the opinion of the young Captain – it made one more confident, comfortable in their own skin, all the while giving one the courage to stand up to others, make the tough calls without getting self-conscious to what other people thought. To put it simply, it made one immune to hate. The perfect shield for one’s mentality, if you asked the young man, and the perfect excuse to admire oneself in the mirror. Because, he was hot. And, on top of the universal benefits, it really didn’t hurt his case, that he was good-looking – if he didn’t help his own confidence, then others surely did by the double glances they spared. He was a prideful child, something he liked a lot about himself, a fact that was no secret. It was nothing to be embarrassed or ashamed of.

He’d learned a long time ago, how to tune out the collective opinions of his haters. Everyone seemed to have an opinion these days, everyone with a different take on how he was to live his life. But that was what people seemed to forget – that it was his. There was something liberating about crushing on as many people as he wanted, crushing on as many genders as he wanted. There was absolutely nothing wrong with his sexuality, his identification, and anyone who told him he was, was just mentally retarded. In his eyes, in the least. How someone could be so simple-minded, tell him to be someone else, it just… angered the child. It wasn’t fair. It was wrong.

Now, it was no secret that the young child was generally a nuisance to the staff. In fact, he actually took great pleasure in giving his teachers gray hair, stirring up chaos in all his classrooms by talking out and purposefully fluking spells and potions. But, he would have to admit, upon attending the rainbow-ified Transfigurations Room, he’d developed a newfound respect for Transfigurations guru Lian – her support certainly meant a lot, after all, coming from someone in power, as too many of those seemed to look down on the LGBTQ+ world in disdain and contempt. Where he’d come from, in the least. It was even more comforting, to see everyone in the staff who’d pitched in their support… perhaps teachers weren’t bad as he’d originally thought. Lian’s errand did sound quite interesting, the part about vandalizing the school with paint and glitter especially appealing to the street kid. Spray paint bottles aside, he supposed he’d always had a slight thing for visual art, more than evident in the sketches that covered his curriculum books and homework. He’d never been good at expressing himself, as the only feelings he’d actually ever felt were rage and attraction but… perhaps it wouldn’t hurt, to give public art a try.

After all, he had gay pride working for him.

The courtyard was positively busting with students, both studious and recreational, some even interested in the activity that he was. Though, their art would surely pale in the face of his own. Glancing up at the sturdy walls of the castle, he couldn’t help but think to himself, lip bit between his lip. Never before in his life, did he think he’d ever get the chance to vandalize something in broad daylight – surely any onlookers would be able to deduct that, from the way he slouched, hood pulled over his eyes, which were darting back and forth, as if watching for police. Typically when someone was attempting ‘illegal art’, they had a spotter to watch their backs… it really sucked, having no friend to watch his own, but he supposed it was all in good fun. After all, the risk was nonexistent.

He would pick up a spray paint can, shaking it well, before beginning to spray his handiwork upon the tiles of the school – the paint was fast work, as he knew it would dribble, ruining his handiwork. A beautiful purple, the color of the biromantics such as himself. To the average onlooker, his art would be a mystery, a formless shape. A backbone for the real art. And art, it was going to be. The paint stuck to the walls seamlessly, as if it had always belonged, and eventually, the boy let the can fall, paint dripping on his grass-stained sneakers as he admired the structure. It was only a matter of time before the world saw his vision of perfection. Disharmony. Insanity.

It was gay anarchy.

Alec had been a bit nervous to even dare to do such a thing. He had enough on his mind as it was. He was sure everybody else at this school did too. But it was different. I guess when your parents have a reputation to uphold, it's pretty much you have to get O's and be our good child. Whatever that was. Yeah, umm Alec had already gotten P once. That wasn't exactly going to go well with his parents. I mean, they were the type of people who sent him a howler for being put into gryffindor. Which was already beyond his control from the start. Alec liked to think that it was the way that he was brought up that landed him in gryffindor. With how overbearing his parents were, it surely could be the case. Even though half the time he was ignored by them. So that's great.
Pride.. The whole reason everybody was here. It wasn't exactly about pride for Alec to be honest he didn't know where he stood with everything was he supposed too? Alec's best friend already had a girlfriend. But Alec wasn't exactly keen on the idea of it, plus Alec felt it'd be best not to label himself anything for now. He'd never actually felt feelings that way towards anyone yet. Alec had never even heard about any of this stuff till getting to Hogwarts. It was a bit crazy for Alec to wrap his heaed around, not only was he learning about magic. But a whole new world of sexualities, identities, and the muggle 'baby shark' song. It made him happy to know people were living the way they were just trying to be themselves in this crazy and messed up world. Succeeding at it too. Alec may be a gryffindor but he didn't exactly have the courage of one. But everybody else, everybody who dared to say what they felt living as true to themselves as they could be, did. They were the true heroes.. It's awe inspiring,, really. That you could even live on an earth with people this strong, and not always physically.
Alec was the type of person to act on what he felt without thinking things through. Then regretting it and overthinking things later when it already has been done and dealt with. And Alec wasn't exactly the best at painting. He was a more I'm gonna make fashion sketches for dresses and suits type guy. They were literally hanging all over the walls of his room. His parents had probably taken them down by now, mind him. But still. Now the whole deal with painting the courtyard. It could use a bit of spicing up, there's no doubt about that. And now because of pride month they were allowed to paint the courtyard walls and such. Alec had only decided to do this to test his painting skills out. It was a lot better and safer than most of the stuff he'd been doing recently. So there was that in mind when doing this. That and Alec was a bit of a dreamer things always went better in his head than when he actually did them so please let this one this time actually go well.
Alec backed away so he could see the wall a bit better, almost backing into the fountain. Luckily he didn't too. That wouldn't exactly have gone well. Alec shook his head before finally turning his gaze to the wall. There was a whole patch that had nothing on it. Ideas flooded his head, tons of them. It was hard to pick something just perfect. Just right.. Alec had the eyes of an artist so whatever he picked might've actually looked good now if it actually met on the same level as his painting skills but that was a whole another thing.
It was probably the thing that'd be the downfall of it all too. I mean, you couldn't expect someone like Alec to actually paint well and spend his time practicing such a thing so often. Though the painting skills would've come handy for such a thing. And that's when Alec finally got his idea. His inspiration. And it was all because of his house, gryffindor.. The lion like everyone who was brave enough to be themselves and say something.
It was perfect. It meant everything, he thought. And felt.. Alec knew most people wouldn't understand it. But if you did great for you. Besides, courage wasn't something Alec took lightly since he rarely had any himself. There were rare moments where he did have some like now, mostly because he was inspired. And the other times he would get courage is just when he got upset. And it was hard to upset Alec. You have to say the right thing.. Really know how to push his buttons to do it. Now the other problem was Alec didn't exactly know how he was going to pull this off by any means. Or even where to start. So he decided to start with the nose, eyes and mouth and make his way from there if it wasn't too horrible that is.
Once Alec had gotten over his whole intense thought session he actually started to paint and let loose a bit. He was doing it quite slowly, though. This was because he didn't wanna risk messing up. This time it was done carefully and with precision, like he actually cared about what he was doing for once in his life. The lion on the vision on his head was an odd one. That wasn't something he was going to deny. With green eyes, a purple nose, and mixed rainbow fur, it was really something to see.

He let his hands guide him once he'd finished up with the eyes, nose, and mouth of the lion. Using tons of different colors, mixing and making a whole rainbow mess. Alec may have not known where he stood on the spectrum of well.. Anything but at least the painting had turned out okay and actually super close to the vision he'd had in his head.

With Pizza on her shoulder, Serena walked through the grounds. She was out for a little stroll, giving him some fresh air and clearing her own mind. A lot had happened over the months. It was a bit too much at times. Serena had thrown herself into Quidditch mostly, which proved to be a great distraction at the best of times.

Approaching the courtyard, she tilted her head curiously as she saw someone spraying something on the wall. What the- Why was no one stopp- her eyes widened as she saw Saskia just... chilling there. Allowing it. She was a prefect now. Serena blinked, wondering what was even going on and why Saskia was doing nothing about it.

Moving closer, she saw the signs. There were messages about Pride Month. It explained a bit more about the month, about how it was to accept and love people for who they were. Serena grinned as she continued to read. People could decorate anything they wanted as a way of celebrating the month and raising awareness, painting it in various colours. She could... most definitely do that! "Hey Sas, you're not decorating?" She asked as she made her way over with a wave. She looked around and what everyone else was doing. Their results were so good. Honestly, she was just going to splatter paint around and fill the place with colour. That was about as far as her artistic talent went.

Pizza climbed off her shoulder, running towards the equipment, "Ahh watch out, you numpty!" She scolded him, calling after him but it was too late. He found himself on the edge of the paint can and then... jumped in. Serena almost shrieked, wondering if he could even swim. She immediately ran towards the paint can but he was treading paint happily. Serena scooped him up, her hand getting covered in the purple coloured paint as she did. Pizza jumped out though, running around across the floor and leaving a trail of paint behind him.

"Ahhh!" She made a dash to try and catch him, leaving hand prints all over the floor as she made an attempt to snatch him up and missed. There were purple footprints of rat prints, as well as ink spilling from his body as well her own handprints soon enough!

Chad looked fabulous, and he knew it.

As he strutted through the corridors, feeling rather full of himself, his confidence was sky-high as he waved to girls, high-fived guys, and overall, was acting out his fratboy fantasies. After all, he wasn’t named Chad for nothing, right? Yes, Pride Month was mainly about advocating for the Queer community and addressing all of the issues that still remained regarding discrimination and prejudice, but it was also about being proud of who you are. After all… hello? Pride Month? That was why a month-long Mardi Gras for the Queer community would probably go straight to Chad’s head, making him think that he could do whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted… Although to be honest, that was probably already his mindset, after that stunt he pulled at the Blossom Ball with Ana.

He felt like a king- no, more than a king. All the Georges and Henrys in England were puny and irrelevant compared to him. He felt like a god- his style was impeccable, he held his head high with confidence (well, it was really more like over-confidence or arrogance), and his mustache was super cool. It was a wonder that the school didn’t worship him by now. His shiny golden shoes click-clacking on the floor, and his basket of drag pride flags hanging off his arm, Chad idly wondered where he should go next. Yes, he had planned a quick and efficient route through the school this morning in the Great Hall, but it was long forgotten by now. After all, he could barely remember what he ate for breakfast; why on earth should he remember a detailed plan that included over 10 locations?

He needed some air. That was the only thing on his mind right now, and the closest location that was actually outside was the Courtyard- which was also probably swarming with students taking advantage of the warm Scottish weather. Quickening his pace, Chad was at the Courtyard in no time at all, squinting in the bright sun at the stone lawn in the middle of the castle. Glancing around, he spotted one @Saskia Nicholson, who would undoubtedly marry some extremely rich person who she would still be way too good for. She was absolutely adorable- like a little teddy bear! Or maybe a small child you wanted to keep out of harm’s way forever. Eugh, what were these feelings? He didn’t even like children! Shaking his head slightly, Chad still grinned widely and waved excitedly at his fellow Hufflepuff. “You look adorable, chica!” he called out to her. “Freaking fabulosa. Bonita. Vogue should really hire you to model for them.”

Okay, but seriously, what was up with this whole Spanish thing? Ami never really mixed Spanish into her words, even though she was semi-fluent. It was just too weird, too random, even for her… so maybe that was why Chad felt alright doing it. After all, you didn’t question a king, especially not one as awesome as Chad freakin’ Preoccupied.

Glancing around the Courtyard again, Chad looked around for someone else to rope into his schemes. After all, he had flags to hang! And the Courtyard was, to be completely honest, looking a little bland. A little boring. It needed spicing up, with flowers, glitter, and bubbles… A slick-looking young man with his hood up caught his eye, and Chad tsked in disappointment. Vandalizing without a spotter? He would’ve been toast in about 30 seconds if this was Chicago. Thankfully, it wasn’t, and he highly doubted that Saskia would do anything about it. Crossing the Courtyard and making his way over to @Rafael D’spacito, Chad promptly yanked the boy’s hood off his head from behind him. With a smooth spin around the Gryffindor, Chad was suddenly leaning against the wall on one side of Rafael, his arms folded across his chest as he studied the Argentine with mild interest. He vaguely recognized the boy from the Quidditch pitch, as he sometimes paid attention to the matches out of sheer house pride, and knew that he was the Gryffindor team captain. However, the name to the face in front of him eluded the king’s mind, so he decided to just go with a guess. “Hey, uh… Despacito!” Chad said with a cheerful smile. “Nice art! Terribly boring though, just the color purple. I hope you’re going to do more than that.”

Bending down, he picked up one of the paint cans, shaking it with a practiced air, before flicking off the cap with just his thumb. Turning his head slightly to scrutinize the wall beside him, he lazily spritzed the wall with the neon blue paint, before rotating his wrist to create a heart. Clearly, he’d done stuff like this before, and he tossed the can to the ground unceremoniously. No big deal, the whole series of actions said.

“You are,” he said in a matter-of-fact tone, with a raised eyebrow of a mildly conceding nature, “Objectively speaking, hot. I, too, objectively speaking, am hot. Are hot? Is hot? English sucks.” Standing up straight and setting his basket down on the ground, Chad touched the brim of his fedora and nodded respectfully at Rafael. “I’m King Chad Preoccupied, although as we appear to be men of the same caliber, just Chad is okay. Bowing is not mandatory, but much appreciated.” Clearing his throat, he puffed up his chest slightly and grinned confidently. “You’re an attractive boy, and soy guapo, man. From one hot dude to another, I need a little bit of help.”

Gesturing to the basket of flags at his feet, Chad explained quickly, “I’ve been putting up these drag pride flags all over school, and while I’m pretty tall, already, I want this one to be super up high. So, the plan is for you to grab the flag, and then I’ll levitate you up high- maybe like 2 feet of the ground, max.” With a mischievous grin, the American exclaimed, “You’ll be like Superman! Come on, what do you say? I promise I won’t drop you. I’m older than you, so I know what I’m talking about. And besides, if I do, I’ll… I’ll bring you back some butterbeer next year! Deal?”

𝓣he courtyard was next on Amadea's list of places to decorate. Wand in one hand, glitter in another, Amadea entered the courtyard prepared to make it a rainbow paradise. She spotted a basket of supplies in the corner, which was good because she had used up most of the decorations she had made in the Great Hall while decorating the Astronomy Tower. With a quick glance around, Amadea noticed that there were already quite a few decorations that had been placed. What she noticed first was the giant rainbow lion that had been painted. Whoever had done it was quite talented, Amadea observed.

She turned around to survey who was in the area, not recognizing anyone until she heard a yell and then spotted Serena Towers, fellow third year and Hufflepuff, shrieking as she chased after what appeared to be a paint covered...rat. Against her better judgment, Amadea dropped all of the decorations in her hands and screamed. Amadea had quite an interesting history with rats, and not one that was pleasant. Back when she, Kyden Goodlow, and Ami Procoppio had been an inseparable trio, they had ventured into the passageways within the castle walls and encountered a large army of rats living there. Amadea and Ami had been swarmed by the rats, who had climbed all over their clothes and even into their hair. From that day forward, Amadea had a hatred of rats and would be perfectly happy if she never had to see one again.

Amadea knew she should do something to help. The rat was leaving behind a trail of purple paint all over the floor of the courtyard, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing considering the nature of errand, but it would be much better off in the hand's of its owner. Amadea glanced around, looking for something that she could grab the rat with - there was no way she was touching the rat with her bare hands - and her eyes landed on the baskets with the supplies. She ran over, quickly moving all of the supplies onto the floor and apologizing quickly to Saskia, the Hufflepuff prefect who had organized this section of the errand. Hopefully, Saskia wouldn't be too upset that Amadea had tampered with the supplies and stolen the basket. It was for a good cause, right? She scanned the courtyard looking for the rat. It was perfect timing, as it scampered over toward her, Amadea quickly scooped it up in the basket and held it as far away from her as possible.

"Here!" Amadea said to Serena, hoping that her voice didn't sound too disgusted. She didn't want Serena to think she was judging her for having a rat; Amadea was the last person to judge anyone for their choices in pets. However, the memories of the rats in the passageways were making her slightly queasy. "Your rat certainly left quite the trail," she said, looking down at the floor of the courtyard. "I bet we can make it look like a rainbow river though," she said, the idea popping into her brain as she surveyed the twists and turns of the purple path the rat had left behind. "Want to help me paint it?"

Serena chased the brown rat that was covered in purple paint now. Sigh. She was not entirely sure how to get the dried paint out of his coat at this point but either way, she first had to catch him before she could do that. He kept evading her, leaving a trail behind him. Pizza was a great pet to have sometimes. Most times, in fact. But occasionally, tended to get a little excited - overly so and things went wrong. However, luckily, her fellow third year had much better luck at capturing him. She grinned as she quickly took the basket, "Ahhh, thank you!" She said gratefully as she peered inside. He seemed to content just running around the basket for now.

Sighing a breathe of relief, she scolded him a little, "Pizza, you have to be more careful!" She told him as she pouted but he ignored her. Scratching the back of her head awkwardly with her hand, forgetting there was paint on it, she sighed and put the basket down on the side. Her eyes scanned the courtyard, looking over the trail of evidence of his run. He seemed to have enjoyed himself, at the very least and hopefully worn himself out. But it was certainly a little bit frustrating.

She was definitely glad that no one else's artwork was ruined in the whole thing. She was also grateful to see that the event also involved painting so she did not get in a huge amount of trouble. Amadea was definitely coming to her rescue today though,"Yeah... Sorry about him. Thank you for getting him though. I- That sounds like a great idea! Sure!"

There was a clear excitement in her voice as her face lit up with the idea. The river would be a very cute idea. "How about... Could we do it with hand prints or shoe prints in different colours?" She offered, wondering if that would work. They could go around the same trail, adding more colours and prints to each.

Assuming that Amadea was on board with the idea, Serena would pick up a nearby can of blue paint after checking on Pizza Rat and then dipping her hands into the paint. Carefully, she would leave a blue hand print near one of the purple marks. Spacing them out a little, she added a few more hand prints in blue. Some of them overlapped with the purple, some did not.

Wiping her blue hands off on her skirt, not really minding if they got messy, she moved to the next colour. Green this time. Repeating the same steps around the courtyard with the green. It was not long until the Hufflepuff had worked her way through every colour available to them, filling the stone floor lots of her hand prints or even finger prints as she ended up using just one finger when she was trying to fill some smaller gaps.

It took a while to work through, but eventually - and hopefully with the help of her fellow third year - Serena managed to finish the rainbow river. It looked rather pretty in her eyes. It was not the most beautiful painting ever but it was definitely a good attempt - and it was colourful. There was so much colour and that made it very pretty in her eyes.

By the end of the task, however, Serena's clothes were just as messy. Her skirt had lots of paint smeared everywhere as she wiped her wet hands over it throughout the whole process. Her hair was also had flickers of colour in it by the end, as she kept rubbing her head or touching it without really worrying. The small Hufflepuff looked over towards Amadea and grinned, not really bothered with her own appearance. If anything, she was celebrating by pride by embracing the flag colours all over her as well, "What do you think?" She asked with a toothy grin on display, tilting her head and waiting for a response.

The last stop on Thea’s journey would be the courtyard, one of her favorite places around the school. She didn’t really know what they could do there, but she knew that a prefect from her house would be stationed there, so it would probably be fine. As she walked out onto the fresh air, the witch could really feel the June weather, even in Scottland. It was a lovely day outside – the sun and the light wind both were making themselves noticeable.

She walked over to one of the supply boxes and found a piece of blue paper. She wanted to do another colorful landscape, like the ones she did in the Hufflepuff common room and in the corridors. But with all of the colorful paper she saw, she didn’t feel like just using some rainbow markers and paints would do it justice. So instead, she pulled out two more colorful sheets in pink and purple, as well as a pair of scissors and got to making a mountain landscape in the bi colors.

Past the sun catchers, this was one of the more relaxing activities, although she had to make sure to e careful and precise in cutting up the mountains which wasn’t exactly her strong suit. Despite that, she was quite happy with the final product. She smiled and pulled out a black marker to put her initials on it as well. And with that, Thea stood up and went back to her room, both tired and strangely relaxed from the 4 activities.

[font=Segoe Print]Rafa was, and always had been, a king. It was about damn time that someone noticed.

But, in all seriousness. The boy knew he’d needed a spotter from the beginning – call it intuition, call it premonition, call it a spoiler alert from the universe, tricking him with the punch line before sharing the actual joke. There were reasons young, handsome men needed lookouts, and it wasn’t for the sake of brotherhood. There was no man here to save him now – the light had erupted into his face, the sun burning him like it would a dhampir – the right shock that the Hufflepuff dude had given him shook him to his very core, a gasp escaping his throat as his eyes went wide, shoulders hiking upwards in surprise. If he’d had anything in his bladder, it would have been gone. “Shit!” he shouted instead, his paint cans yeeted behind his back. The Huffle dude had effectively caught him by surprise.

Despacito. Not how one typically pronounced his name, but given how hot the guy that had said it actually was, he’d accept it this time. There were so many things you could do a reprimand someone that was that damn good-looking. Now, people often said that Rafael had low standards, true, but that was an opinion, based on his natural attraction to anything with a decent face and two legs. This guy was freaking caliente. Like, Rafa needed sunscreen or something. Did he bring sunscreen? The boy checked his pockets subconsciously, feeling around for the spray he usually kept with him in Argentina. Nope. It was okay, though, he was distracted staring at the hot guy. An impressed eyebrow raising hiking its way up his forehead, his arms crossed, he began to scrutinize the competition – it was then, that he would be able to properly understand what the Huffle had told him. “Wh- My art isn’t boring!” he sputtered in retaliation. Hell, he hadn’t even gotten started yet! To prove it? Glaring at the hot guy, he grabbed a random spray paint bottle from the gathered pile of his – blue – and, without looking, drew a random squiggly on the wall, in the middle of the purple shapes he’d been forming. Completely pointless, sure, but he’d deal with it when he was going over it later. Leaning forward, and curtsying in a caustic manner, he dropped the can into the pile, much like a rapper would drop a mic. No one called his art boring.

He was mad at the guy, and for a lot of reasons. But he supposed that all was forgotten at his next words – at the very indication that someone else recognized his ruggish good looks for what they were, he couldn’t help but grin, his arms crossing once more as he listened. This guy was obviously in a right state of thinking. Well, the Captain could respect that. Cocking his head to the side, he looked down, nodding as if coming to the conclusion that the guy was a valid source. “Nice to meet you, Chad,” he enunciated, offering the stud a charming smile. “Rafael D’Spacito, King of Blatch. Though I guess you already know that much.” He would hold his hand out for shaking – a sign of manliness, one the boys his age often used to measure their macho. If his hand was taken, he would make sure to squeeze the guy’s hand as hard as he could, just like a real man did. Then, regardless if his hand was taken or not, he would shrug, stuffing his hands in his pockets and nodding as if to show his fellow royal that he was listening. If it was in the name of manliness and nice faces, he was all in. “What’s up?”

“You’ll be like Superman!"

He was already like Superman, that had been established by now, but he supposed it didn’t hurt to prove that to everyone else. Flying… wasn’t anything new, though attempting it without a broom would definitely be a venture. It didn’t matter, though, because he was a Gryffindor and therefore invincible to all pain or failure. Plus, Chad seemed to know what he was doing. Pondering for a long moment, his eyes locked onto his shoes and brows furrowed, the Captain finally decided. “Make it firewhiskey, and you’re on.” He rolled up his sleeves, making sure his arms were nice and flexes, before striding over to the basket of flags Chad had brought, swiping one from the mass and clutching it in his hands. “Beam me up, Scotty.”
