After a quick discussion, Bella decided to quickly go to her dorm to get her notebook and quill to take notes, just like Xio did. However, when she came down from her room and entered the Slytherin Common Room, she saw Irene quickly walking over.
"Hi Irene!" Bella waved to her friend. Irene explained her situation, and Bella just chuckled.
Whoever wrote this letter thought things through. Maybe...maybe there was multiple people working together!
'Hey, do you know if anyone else found letters like this? The person said that they separated the knowledge into pieces...I wonder where the other parts of the letter are, then?" Irene asked. Bella gave a quick smile, thinking of the rest of her friends, still in the strange classroom, holding the papers in their hands.
"Actually, yes. Here's the strange thing, I found one too! And so did a couple of other students, too! We are all meeting in this strange classroom, where I found a letter, to discuss this mystery! I did wonder if it would be good to tell a professor, but we figured that it may be better to just investigate for a while ourselves, in case they take the evidence away and never tell us what happened, you know?" Bella took out the letter and held it out to Irene to read.
After Irene finished reading, Bella led Irene to the strange classroom that they were gathered in and took a deep breath.
"Something happened when I was gone, didn't it? Why does the room smell so...interesting now? I mean, it was always weird, but...something is off," Bella declared in surprise.
OOC Notes: And now everyone is gathered in the classroom! And the suspense is building up! Woww!

Cas resisted the urge to step backwards as Xio introduced herself, taken aback by her enthusiasm. "Casimir," he introduced himself to the two girls, although he was still more focused on what he'd overheard than anything. "I found this in the Hufflepuff Boy's Dorm--" he extended his hand with the parchment clutched in it, figuring there wasn't much point keeping it a secret since the mysterious writer had specified that people essentially had to work as a team to figure it out. Besides, if there was some sort of issue with searching for whatever it was the writer referred to, it was better to have the issue spread out amongst people than concentrated all on him.
The Slytherin girl with Xio began to speak and Cas listened intently, about to give his thoughts when suddenly more people approached. It seemed many people from many houses were finding these letters all at once... was this truly a coincidence or was there something bigger at play here? Everyone finding these after more than seven decades certainly felt suspicious, especially when there were so many students who had passed through these halls since.
He dipped his head in a nod to Nicole and in agreement with Bella's suggestion to leave the classroom, but before they could Xio noticed something off happening. Cas felt it too, the shift in the air, and it convinced him more than ever that this wasn't a simple prank. He looked around their gathered group to confirm nobody was using magic to mess with them, then cleared his throat slightly.
"We should leave," he said seriously, meeting the eyes of each person in the room to stress his words. "I don't know what this is, but all of our letters speak about something bad happening. If we're noticing a change, it sounds like whatever this bad thing is might happen to us soon. We don't have enough information beyond piecemeal notes. I was heading to the library, should we all go there? If this is as big as it feels, maybe we can find records of something happening between 1952 and 53. The more people to search, the better."

Irene was stunned when Bella showed her the letter and even more so when she led her to a weird classroom where everyone gathering there was holding a piece of parchment exactly like hers. To have said the classroom was weird, it smelled (there's no denying it), horrible.
There was a Hufflepuff boy, Cas, a Griffindor girl Avery, and a Hufflepuff girl Nicole.
It was deeply concerning when no one found the letter for over seven decades. There must be someone who walked in this very classroom. Why did they find out about this now? And they were all from different Houses, which made everything more confusing since they couldn't decide which House the person is from. Is this just a coincident? Or is it something bigger...something more concerning and dangerous.
'Maybe we should look in the library or the trophy room?' Irene suggested.
But the air shifted: something was off. But no one was using magic to mess with them.
'We should leave,' said Cas seriously, 'I don't know what this is, but all of our letters speak about something bad happening. If we're noticing a change, it sounds like whatever this bad thing is might happen to us soon. We don't have enough information beyond piecemeal notes. One last shift rippled through the air before the classroom fell completely still. The cluster of students froze in place, all of them suddenly too afraid to move, as if even the smallest motion might be enough to wake whatever had been disturbed. For five long seconds, no one breathed.
Then—
Everyone turned at once. The sound had come unmistakably from Xio, who looked just as horrified as the others. She stared down at her own stomach in betrayed disbelief, as though it had chosen this exact moment to announce itself on purpose.“...growwwwl....”
She said, clearing her throat and speaking too quickly out of embarrassment.“Right—okay—”Before anyone could tease her, she shoved her sketchpad hastily back into the sleeve of her robe and hurried after the others, eager to escape the suspicious classroom and its unnerving stillness. The corridor outside felt safer somehow, though only just.“Let’s grab dinner first, then meet in the library to gather more clues and do some research!”
Behind them, the room gave the faintest shift, subtle enough that none of the students noticed. Something had changed. Something had been stirred. And whether they knew it or not, the group may have already stepped one pace closer to trouble.
