It was a beautiful summer's day. The sun was shining, the sky was bright blue with a few fluffy white clouds and there was a gentle breeze every so often. If the weather kept up, the match could be played in very good weather. Of course, this was UK and the weather was highly unpredictable. London was far warmer than the students were likely used to up in Scotland. With the beautiful weather, the team had set up the day's activities outside.
The team of organisers for the day was the Charms Professor Artemis Vernatis, the Slytherin Prefect Nico Shymane and the Head of Slytherin Hjørdis Jensen. Whilst the organisers were from the Hogwarts faculty, they had opened up this event to everyone. Visitors from other schools were welcome to come along and use the materials to make their own support banners. Though, there was a clear bias towards Hogwarts and Hufflepuff with the amount of yellow present.
Situation not too far away from the stadium itself, they had set up the tables. Well, perhaps not really they. In all honesty, it was mostly Artemis who lifted them and positioned them given he could do them solo. He claimed he was strong, so Hjørdis was happy to watch him flex that. Nico helped him, carrying small stacks of chairs over at a time and placing them around the tables. She could not use magic outside of school. Hjørdis totally cheated and just used magic to set her section up, however. Then she perched herself onto the table and just smirked over to the pair as she watched them still setting up slowly. Grabbing a packet of dairy milk giant chocolate buttons, the head of Slytherin just ate them as she waited, with a smirk on her face - containing the desire to laugh at them both.
Sometimes Artemis enjoyed doing manual labour without magic as it reminded him of his times at home when his wife used to be there. The physical work helped keep him fit and his stamina at the level he needed to keep up with his kids and his devil may care students. It also kept his mind off of the negatives that seemed to play a role in his life. Lifting these tables and chairs manually instead of physically was definitely a better than using magic.
Yes sir ...
Artemis groaned as he straightened. Who was he trying to fool? He was only physically moving these blasted tables because Hjørdis asked him to, but it was too damn hot for this. Whipping out his wand, Artemis began to move the rest of the tables and chairs to their proper places. The snacks and cupcakes were then placed on them and the arts and crafts that were going to be used for the day's activities were placed a few feet across the grass from the snacks with stools and chairs placed around them.
The slightly sweaty man grabbed a bottle of water from the cooler next to the face paint table. It was the table he was in charge of and he had definite plans for the paint that was sitting along the table. He also hoped that their younger helper, Nico Shymane, would be helping him with the face painting portion of the Arts and Crafts day but he figured she would probably bounce around until she settled at one station. Either way, he was determined to have fun along with the kids and face painting.
His eyes would drift over to the Slytherin Queen who was doing something on the far side of the area and the man smirked. Oh...he was definitely going to have fun today with the face painting.
On a sunny day like this, Nico had to be careful. They were going to stay out here for a while so she had to take precautions. After owling her parents that she'd be staying at school for summer, they had sent her a package which contained a nice sun proof outfit. Each year the days got hotter and the sun hurt more. There was no harm in being too careful. Within she found a beautiful straw sunhat with a small dark blue ribbon. To reflect the sun and to not heat up too much, she wore a white shirt with a small picture of a shark, making it seem as if a small shark sat in a pocket on her chest. A casual, light blue pair of shorts with black combat boots. Her attire was perfect for moving around with ease and if things got dirty, they could easily clean it up.
Since they were no longer within the castles domain, as a student, she wasn't allowed to use any spells to aid her in placing furniture. It didn't really bother her until she saw her House Head doing so. Bummer. But since she was basicly raised the same way a Muggleborn was, moving chairs wasn't the end of the world or new to her. As the sun beamed down on them, the dhampir finally finished her task and slid down on one of the chairs she was carrying around earlier. The other adult present was the charming Professor of Charms, Professor Artemis. The way he drank from his bottle, it seemed she wasn't the only one slightly suffering from the heat.
Hopefully she could help them out whenever they needed her. The dhampir was ready to tackle this whole thing and... hopefully the Charms Professor wouldn't side eye her or anything.
Hjørdis finished up inspecting the area, mentally checking off that everything was prepared. The tables were set up with a variety of items. There was a range of different crafting materials.
In one section, visitors would be encouraged to make support banners. This could be for their school or their friends. This was a free-for-all section. Some chose to make large signs with encouraging words that they could hold up in their row to support their school friends, others went with small banners they could wave around. If you were creative enough, you could easily make large paper fingers of support out of the materials. There were drafted designs to inspire people to give them some ideas. Admittedly, the majority of the sketches were aimed at Hufflepuff, who were chosen to be the Hogwarts Champion. However, people were free to create banners specifically for their friends or for their own schools, if they did happen to have any visitors from other schools.
Stacks and stacks of materials, with very large pieces of paper sat around the area. Temporary floor boards had been added over a patch of grass to allow people a sturdy board to lay down the paper and create, if they wanted to do that. Sometimes painting against the floor was much easier. Since the Quidditch players sometimes flew up really high, these large banners would come in handy for them to see them from the distance. Students could certainly hang large banners down from their stands too, trying to support the players. However, if they wanted to do something smaller, then there were plenty of materials to create little pennants, banners or signs. There were also some thin bamboo sticks that they could add the banners to, to make them easier to wave around. Once people were done with their banners, they could be enchanted to make the badger or an image move a little. Artemis or Hjørdis would be able to do this once it was ready.
Another section had face paint. They could practice their face painting skills, if they wanted to work out a design for the game day or use the enchanted paints that would last a day. It could be washed out with a good old cleaning charm if needed but it would last until the game if they wanted it to. Perhaps they could use stripes for their school or house colours, or draw some sort of symbol. A few people preferred to write something.
Face paint was a fun way of supporting the team. Whilst Hjørdis did not apply face paint to her own face - nor did she have any intention of doing so for the match tomorrow - she could help do it for others if needed. Though, for now, Artemis was lurking over at the face painting table whilst she was near the Banners. Whilst students were encouraged to create something Hufflepuff related, there were paints in a variety of colours so people could create their own house themed designs to represent 'Hogwarts'.
At the face painting, there was also make up and products that could be used near the eyes - such as eye shadows. Glitter products that were safe for people's face, for example. On one end, there were also some hair sprays. People could spray their hair with the different hair colours. They only lasted a day or two and came out when washed but the temporary sprays would allow people to create black and yellow stripes if they wanted or include hair glitter.
There was so much yellow face paint though. By the end of the set up, there was plenty of gold, yellow and black coloured items that could be added here. From paints to glittery make up to bits of fabric that could be used to make a head band or a head mask. Honestly, Hjørdis wondered if it would just be easier to turn a tub of yellow paint upside down over people. It would certainly be faster, though perhaps not as decorative.
Dotted around was also snacks. There were a few bowls of chocolates and sweets, as well as a few boxes of cupcakes made by Hjørdis. Some of the bowls of chocolates and sweets came in a range of magical options, such as Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, Jelly Slugs, Drooble's Best Blowing Gum and so on. Whilst the other bowls offered a variety of chocolates and sweets in a muggle variety, such as these. These were mostly British options but they were essentially whatever the team could find before the event. There was plenty of choice for the different students that came to pass. The bowls were dotted around the tables so there was plenty to go around. A cooling charm surrounded the food bowls to prevent them from melting in the sun.
There were also trays of cupcakes. Two different types of cupcakes, to be exact. Sets of chocolate cupcakes that came in the four Hogwarts house colours to support house unity and show Hogwarts support against the other houses. There were more of the yellow and black icing ones, which were represented of the school's champions, of course. There were some additional trays of vanilla cupcake with yellow icing and a Hufflepuff logo on it. Near the trays, there was a little card with the ingredients of each tray so people could see which they could have if they had any allergies or specific dietary requirements - such as wanting eggless cupcakes. Around the area was also a few cooler boxes with water
Finally, there were two large boxes of hear gear and... tails? This was the best the team could find at the last minute but they ordered a bunch of badger themed merchandise. There were some funky headgear which was a giant badger face and there were some fluffy headbands with a tail too. It was... something. Of course, students could definitely make their own - and Hjørdis would encourage that. However, these were options for those who wanted them!
There was also an area where people could 'build a bear' and create some small clothes for it. The box had a range of plushies that were open at the back and could be stuffed. Students could also add a message for themselves within in and then get one of the professors to seal it up - or stitch it close themselves. With all of the fabric and supplies around, people could make a small scarf or a little hat for it too - or write a message or name on the plushie. There was some yellow material to make a small hufflepuff scarf if people wanted to support their champions.
It was certainly a fine day. Though, she could not help smirk at how some of the present company might have thought it was a little too hot. Picking up a piece of paper from the crafting table, she quickly folded it into a makeshift fan and smirked as she turned towards Artemis and fanned herself.
With that, they waited for the students to arrive and to just jump right into the activities of their choice.
OOC Guidelines for the thread:
- This thread is moderated by Nico Shymane, Artemis Vernatis and Hjørdis Jensen
- It is open to all [Hogwarts + iNPCs from Ilvermorny or Durmstrang]
- In Character, this takes place the day before the match.
- Banner Crafting: There's a ton of materials for banner crafting, as well as ideas. Banners should be supportive. Most ideas are themed 'Hufflepuff' as they are Hogwart's champions but students can make Hogwarts ones (or their own school ones) or banners for their friends.
- Face Painting: Students are welcome to use the enchanted face paint, make up or temporary hair sprays to show their team/school support for the match. Whilst Hufflepuff yellow is encouraged, there's a variety of ideas.
- There is material to make some headpieces or outfit additions, you can also 'build a bear' and there is plenty of snacks and water around to keep you hydrated. Good chance to just mingle with other students from Hogwarts and the other schools, whilst crafting.
- There are also some badger 'merch', such as badger head gear or headbands, that they can take away if they don't want to craft their own.

It was one day before the official Hufflepuff agains Drumstrang match. And nobody could be more nervous than May herself. Her hands were sweating, her face was paler than usual and when someone tried to talk to her about the match, she felt her whole body tremble in a fainting position. The normally livid and happy Hufflepuff had changed into a shy troubled badger.
The girl left the tent and walked slowly out of the tent that she shared with Logan Baird and another boy she didn't know. Dont let your emotions take over you she thought. But of course, it wasn't reassuring enough.
She had told nobody else than the Hufflepuff student Annie Morgan about her troubles. Yet, she needed to tell someone else about it.
She saw some tables where the Charms professor and the prefect Nico Shymane were, and they were full with cupcakes, banners, and other interesting but not relieving stuff. May's face drained of colour. Now they think were going to win... she pushed those ugly thoughts aside and went to the still lonely group.
"W-why hello professor Jensen..." she addressed the Slytherin head of house. "M-my this is beautiful. I-I guess you trust us deeply-gee, this is good."
May took a deep breath and sighted. She picked up a Hufflepuff banner and waved it slowly in the air.

Holy Moly; never in a million years did Piper ever think she'd be alive to see an official Quidditch match against one of the houses at Hogwarts and Durmstrang; let alone the house she is in. Honestly this the ultimate family rivalry game; however with the way her family is and the fact that they asked for souvenirs made her amazingly happy to that they opened this crafting activity. Oh yes she would definitely make sure they got their souvenirs; as she walked around the tent looking around at all the crafting supplies...oh she was going to have some major fun here.
She loved creating; making things with her hands and getting lost in the process of it was like therapy or meditation for her. She walked along the tables figuring out what she'd need for each section because lets face it she was definitely making something for each of her family members. Her brother and father would be getting a Durmstrang flag with a little Hufflepuff twist, her mother and grandmother would be getting a bear sporting their houses with a small Hufflepuff flag, and for herself...she'd be making a Hufflepuff full length wall banner as well as a Hufflepuff bear. She took great care in selecting materials she'd need for each project; took all the materials to a corner where she sat on the ground with her legs crossed together to get to work.

He had been to one of Willow's games before and it had been amazing. But this time Hufflepuff was against a whole other school and opponents they did not actually know well. Alan was excited and confident in the abilities of the Hufflepuff team. He knew a few of the Quidditch players and all of them seemed to be pretty capable and were good at what they were doing. He wanted to do more, he wanted to cheer for them and show his support during the game and that was why he was thrilled about the event from the Slytherin head of house. He arrived at the little work shop and smiled at the professor. "Good afternoon, Professor Jensen," he greeted the woman warmly, offering her the kind smile he was more or less known for. If she remembered Tiger from the yoga class, she would recognize the feline he was carrying once again in his arms. Sadly enough there weren't all too many activities were he could safely bring his cat, but this one seemed to be quite fine for both of them to attend.
"Hi May," he greeted another familiar face of the few students that had gathered so far. He did not keep with her long as she saw a girl he had yet to get acquainted with and nodded to her in greeting. "Hi, I'm Alan Vanes," he would greet her softly as he shifted his weight so that he could carry Tiger with just one arm as he held out his now free hand towards the girl for a handshake. "Are you a Hogwarts student?"

There was only a day before the game between Hufflepuff and durmstrang was due, but Ariana couldnt help feeling exuberant. Quidditch was one of the best things in the world. [Well at least in her opinion.] The concept of her attending a big game like this was thrilling and even though Ariana controlled herself as she made her way down to the activity, in her mind it was almost startling that the other students couldn't feel the exhilarated aura radiating off her.
No doubt she thought making decor and banners for supporting the players was something welcome, on the contrary she felt it was a must, and essential product if she wanted to show how she truly felt about her support for the match. As she neared the slowly growing group of people, she spotted a familiar figure. One that she in fact had not spoken to in a while, but nevertheless was thrilled to see. May. She quickened her pace, blinking as she took in the vibrant colors and materials littered across the prepared tables.
“Hello professor Jensen!” She waved happily. “This must have taken a while to set up, but I must say, it's absolutely wonderful!” Indeed it was, the slytherin prefect [Nico], Professor Jensen and Professor Artemis had certainly done a lovely job at arranging things.
Ariana then sidled over to May, tapping the girl on the shoulder. “Hey May!” Her tones tumbled out bubbly and excitable, contrasting greatly to her badger friend's nervous expression. The gryffindors face fell a little, “I- May are you alright?” She questioned, her features screwed up in concern. She lifted her head a little and saw another familiar face. Smiling again, she waved to her fellow gryffindor enthusiastically, her green orbs twinkling as she kept her hand rested on Mays shoulder. “Hello Alan!” She called. “Fancy seeing you here!” She would have ventured over to pet Tiger, but restrained herself, instead casting her gaze back to May. “You could help me do face painting May,” She offered lightly, in an effort to calm the girl. “You are very good at that sort of thing after all.” She gave her a tentative smile, gesturing to the assortments of paints. “I'd also love to make a banner, are you going to be doing one too?”

The lively, noisy atmosphere that a Quidditch match brought was one she always anticipated. Cheering on her fellow house mates (or in this case, school mates) was a great way to bring everyone together with house pride in her opinion. But obviously the main attraction was the thrilling and exhilarating game itself, Janet loved Quidditch, whether she was playing or not. As she arrived at the activity it was with great surprise that she realized she was early, wow that was a first. Janet made her way to the nearest table and scanned the pitch. She caught sight of May Moonstar, one of her hufflepuff friend's who was going to be participating in the game. The gryffindor grinned, delighted to see her good friend and started to walk over to her, in order to congratulate her on making the team that was going to be flying against durmstrang. But who was that with her? Ugh Ariana. Why is it that she happened to be everywhere just when Janet didn't want to see her. Well she wasn't going to let stupid Ariana get in her way. She walked over, throwing an unnecessary dirty look towards Ari and smiled at May.
"Hey May! Congrats on the big match tomorrow! Can't wait to see you fly, I bet you'll be great, wanna make a poster together?"

“Hey May!” she could hear, a tone, exited that May recognized immediately. It was her Gryffindor friend, Ariana Walker, that was greeting her happily. "Hey Ari. H-how are you?" she said. Now, she was trembling, and could feel her hands shaking tremendously as she half grimaced half smiled at Ariana. Then, she saw Alan greeting her too. "Hello Alan. I guess it's a cool day-" why was she saying that? She looked back at Ariana. Receiving so much attention made her even more dizzy than she already was.
"I-May are you alright?" she heard Ariana ask. It was obvious that she wasn't. The Usualy fragile yet strong girl wasn't in her best state. She was trembling and she was even paler than usual, and every single time she tried to smile, it turned into a grimace that was obviously not the kind of smile May always offered when someone talked to her.
"I'm fine. Exited I guess. " this time, it was a much better smile, not a grimace. "Sure! It's going to be fun I guess" she was about to ask her what she wanted her face to resemble, when she heard someone else talking to her. It was Janet, and May couldn't help but see the odd faces and the obvious ignorance the two supposed best friends were experiencing. "Oh, heya Janet! I'm currently face painting Ari, but you can help me out, right?" she said, and gave them both a smile. ]"After that, we can do the poster, and maybe Alan could join!" she smiled and picked up some face paint. "Now Ari, what do you want, badger, lion eagle or the Hogwarts crest?" she asked Ariana. Hopefully, the tension between both of them would ease off and they could be friendly again.

Anyone that would see how much sewing Piper had done next to her they would most likely assume she had been here all day but the reality of the situation is that she is just a very handy with a needle. Getting lost in her own world; things tended to get done quickly...since coming to the school she'd gotten used to being a loner.@Alan Vanes
Which is why it shocked her when a fellow classmate came over to her;
; the sound of his voice made her look up at him but his question made her arch a brow. Now honestly she knew that she hadn't made any sort of impression but to the point where her own schoolmates didn't know another schoolmate."Hi, I'm Alan Vanes," he would greet her softly as he shifted his weight so that he could carry Tiger with just one arm as he held out his now free hand towards the girl for a handshake. "Are you a Hogwarts student?"
Had she been the snotty type she'd have simply told him no but she wasn't instead she flashed a smile at him as she took his hand "Hello Alan; I'm Piper LaMotta." Okay maybe shaking his hand was a mistake, when he shifted his cat her nose instantly started twitching with allergies trying so hard not to sneeze "Yes I am..." she was about to continue but instantly went to her hip bag grabbing certain crystals; one she put on her chest & the other she put in the middle of her forehead breathing deeply. Most people would rely on pills for their allergies but not her...she believed in a much higher power. It took a moment for her breathing to get under control when it did she looked up at Alan "Hufflepuff to be exact."

When she had been offered the opportunity to depart on a trip to England, to accompany the Quidditch team to participate in an inter-school match that would serve as the climax to an event fostering improved relations between the two magical schools, Greta had had a very different image in mind. Although she had known they would be camping, of sorts, she had still pictured that they would be delivered with a regimented schedule. Training in the mornings, perhaps relationship building workshops in the afternoon. Maybe even some seminars to offer introductory lessons for various languages to improve their mutual understanding. Structured and disciplined approaches. That's what she had been picturing. The reality, was something very different.
Over the course of the past couple of months, they had been very nearly left to their own devices. Sure, there had been a few planned events: a welcoming bar-bay-cue (as they had called the bonding over grilled food items), a chess event (which had been rather a bit of fun), and a gathering around a large fire to share stories (she'd gone to that, but really hadn't understood much). There had even been the odd games that some students seemed to have taken it upon themselves to organize, such as the game of conquering and the fight with water. But otherwise, it was really more like the muggle camps she'd heard about. Just a collection of children left to roam and run and play amongst themselves. A stark contrast to the more firmly-handed routine with which she usually contended.
Still, let it not be said that Greta didn't make the effort to participate where she could and to experience every opportunity that would be granted to her during their foreign visit. Thus, when word reached her of a spike in activity taking place in one of the clearings of the campgrounds, she had pitter-pattered her way over to take a peak. From around the corner of a nearby tent, she had watched the arrangement of tables and chairs. What struck her as rather odd was the way they were being carried. Or rather.. Not the way, really, but the fact that they were being carried. Manually. As though the ones involved were incapable of magic. Like those squibs that her mother had warned her about. Did they really not know how to use magic? And for so many of them in one place? But it wasn't as though there weren't those around who could. In fact, she was sure that her headmistress would have been willing to whip the set-up into shape within minutes had they only asked her…
What was even more odd, was that a short time into it all, one of them did end up bringing out a wand and exchanged brawn for brain and the use of a few well-placed charms. That confused Greta even more, and she settled to crouch down into a squat on the backs of her heels to watch, perplexed. After all, why hadn't they simply done that from the beginning? Did they enjoy making themselves appear less capable and working up an unsightly sweat in the heat of the sun? Strange folks, these Brits…
By the time they had finished, however, it was fairly clear what this was meant to be. At one table, there were papers and paints and all manner of supplies to create banners and flags. Another area had been set up with numerous chairs, paints, and mirrors. It was clear to Greta almost immediately that this section would be for applying face paint, and grasped at her interest. Only just that morning had she still been trying to think out exactly what she wanted to do by means of war paint for the coming match the next day. This could be the perfect opportunity! She also spied a collection of snacks and sweets. True to her namesake (she and her brother were, after all, Hanzo and Greta), she could hardly turn down an opportunity for that. Fortunate it was, then, that it was friendly (hopefully) foreign Professors, and not hags, leaving those trails of goodies around for her grazing. Plus two other areas that she really didn't spend much time inspecting to determine what they were. Her mind had already been made up.
Quick as a cat, Greta rose and turned about on her heel. The layered skirts of her outfit swished and kicked at her ankles as she hurried back through the maze of tents. She was on the hunt. "Hanzo?" She called, seafoam green eyes darting in and out of the little alleyways and paths that had been made between the various canvas structures. "Hanzo?" she called again. Her brother never seemed to be within eye or ear-shot whenever she needed him. And he wondered why she tended to dog his steps so closely; it was because if ever she let him out of her sight for one minute, he would disappear for the rest of the day! Lips pursed as she continued her hunt, searching in vain for her absentee sibling. Oh, she would be wroth with him when the night concluded.
She was starting to get anxious, though. With every turn, she was met with more unfamiliar faces. Every darting through a crowd had her navigating a field of giants. Shoulders hunched and she ducked her head and hoped that none of them would accidentally step on her. Not that she would expect them to. Agile as the lion that served her national animal, she shot through them all, her mane of untamed blonde flagging her presence. By the time she reached her own tent, she was short of breath, face flushed and shimmering with specks of perspiration.
"Hanzo?" she asked again, pulling back the canvas covering. The brother she sought would not be found within. However, her brother of choice would be. "Nikolai!" she beamed, rarely as happy as she was then to find herself face to face with the surly Hanzo stand-in. [In Russian]"I can't find Hanzo…" Typical. She had been searching for her brother. Again. And couldn't find him. Again. [In Russian]"May I borrow you?" And in such situations, it became the assigned duty of the next one in the group that she happened upon to take up the position of honorary Hanzo. [In Russian]"There is something happening in the courtyard. Tables and chairs and supplies all laid out. And food and sweets as well! I want to take a look…" Her hands clapped together to nestle at her chin, eyes dilated in the dim interior peering up at him from below her lashes.
Not that she ever really took no for an answer. Regardless of whether he acquiesced or offered a refusal, Greta would dart in to grab at his hand within each of hers, stepping back and attempting to pull him forward and from the depths of the tent. The only difference between the two outcomes would be the [In Norwegian]"Pleaaase…" and the small pout that would accompany her guiding steps if he should have the audacity to refuse her. And the moment he relented, her cheeks would pull right back into her beaming smile, face alighting in elation.
Thoughts fixed onto the collection of sweets and the display of paints, Greta hardly registered their trek back towards the set-up. It wasn't until they reached its perimeter that Greta released Nikolai's hand and made a bee-line for the face-painting area. The set-up of the area had drawn the attention of a few other students, none of whom Greta recognized. Fortunately, they all seemed to be occupied with themselves. The petite Norwegian cast a furtive glance in the direction of the adults while making a sheepish way over to the trays of little glazed cakes. They looked delicious. Already, she could feel her mouth water. But there weren't any of her peers here. And there certainly was a noticeably large amount of yellow and gold. Had she made a mistake? Was this for everyone? She gazed longingly at the treats, fingers curled tight into little fists pressed against her collar. Then back over her shoulder towards Nikolai as though he would somehow have the answer to her silent question about whether they were allowed to take one.

"Hi Ariana," he would greet her with a light tone and a bright green spark in his eyes as he smiled at her, genuinely in a good mood. He would sit down at the crafting table, as he set down the feline right next to himself. Tiger would not want to stay on the chair for long and quickly jumped up and on top of the table to explore all those curious items he could find. He would sniff at the face paint resulting in a yellow streak across his snout. Smart enough, the cat quickly moved on and settled with using the fabrics as a makeshift resting place as he curled up within a box of cloth.
A girl would mention that May was in the Quidditch team which quickly caught Alan's attention. "You are?", he wondered, not in disbelief but merely a little surprised since this was something he actually had not known before another girl [Janet] mentioned it. "Join making a poster?," he asked curiously and nodded his head. "Sure, why not". But for now Alan had to keep an eye out for Tiger who had spotted the cupcakes, so with a quick motion, Alan swooped the tomcat up and placed him on the chair next to him again, giving the feline a more or less serious glare. Or at least he did a good attempt at glaring , but it looked more like he was focusing on something, rather than actually glaring. "Stay there and don't cause trouble for Miss Jensen," he scolded the cat softly as he scratched him behind the ear with the tip of his finger.
"Oh okay, it's a pleasure t-to make your acquaintance," he would nod with a soft smile before his attention was captured by two people arriving, which made Alan quite curious. He had been in the middle of gathering his materials to make a poster with aquarelles as he glanced at the two new people. Again, two new faces and before he could react, Tiger jumped down and bounded over to the pair, trying to get their attention. Dropping the few art supplies he had held in his hands so they cluttered the area of the table the Gryffindor had occupied, he would follow after his cat and quickly picked him from the ground before he could bother the two of them. "My apologies," he would say quickly, giving them a lightly tense smile. "I'm Alan," he would introduce himself to the pair.
