New adventure

The sound of a bell could be heard from far. Hogwarts Express was leaving in fifteen minutes, Violet hugged her parents and sorted her luggage. She was almost losing the train.
Violet had just hopped on the locomotive, a few minutes before the engine started working. She looked at her parents from the window and started searching for a seat. Violet didn't mind being with someone, or not being able to find a compartment, she really just wanted to sit down. The girl searched three carriages. All of them were full, or with groups of friends. "Why aren't there any empty compartments?" she mumbled to herself. A student passed, looked at Violet with eyes of slight confusion and a hint of disapproval, as if saying, "This one has gone mad".
As Violet was giving up, she passed through a few last compartments. Either they were all full or closed. Luckily, the last one was semi-opened, she peeked inside, and just saw a boy. He had black hair that covered one of his eyes. It made Violet think of a shy person whom she could probably talk to easily. She took a deep breath and opened the door of the compartment a bit more. The young girl stepped forward, just enough to block the door frame.
"Hello, do you mind if I sit here? All the other places are full." Violet asked, desperate for a seat.
New adventure
Stephen was in a gaze looking out the window at the departing families from platform 9¾.
Stephen looks over as hear the compartment door slide open he looks up and sees a girl standing there.
Stephen nods and extends a arm to the seat across from him.
"Sure no problem" He says with a nod and a small smile as his hair flows over his eye.
Stephen waited for her to take a seat he always found it hard to talk to people but this girl seemed friendly.
"I'm Stephen by the way Stephen collins" Stephen says with a small smile as he offers her his hand.
"First year too?" Stephen asks with a small shy smile.
"What house do you think you will get?" Stephen asks over the bustling noise.
A bunch of the older students were rushing past their compartment to their own ad they carried some books , some treats from home , and some carried their pets weather it was a toad , cat or others until the scarlet steam engine rolled to life and started to depart the platform heading for the castle of hogwarts.
Stephen smiles as he watches the platform vanish from his view he could help bur bounce his feet excitingly.

New adventure

As soon as Violet hears the word the boy's approval, she goes to him and shakes his hand, with a warm smile, taking the seat in front of Stephen. The girl looks outside through the window, looking at the platform, with all those parents and familiars, loking at their children in the train, as she speaks.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Violet Anzu, it's my first time in Hogwarts too." she answers, smiling confidently at the boy.
As Stephen inquires about her House, she contemplates for a second, looking at the wooden floor boards of the compartment, before answering.
"Maybe Ravenclaw, my father was in Ravenclaw, it seems like a good House, from what I heard. But I don't know."
Violet looks at the students passing by, busy with their own lives and their multiple problems. She gets up, and closes the door, attempting to reduce the noise of both the engine, and the students speaking loudly to eachother. She looks to the window again, as the platform disappears, and slowly the only thing visible is the green terrains of the United Kingdom. She smiles, imagining the Castle and the magical classes.
"It's really exciting to go to a new school, isn't it? I really have big expectations for Hogwarts"
New adventure
Stephen smiles as she Introduces her self and they shake hands.
"Nice to meet you vilolet" Stephen says with a nod".
"I'm personally hoping for gryfindor I like to think I show good traits for that house" Stephen says with a mile as the noise continues to bustle in the corridor as the only other sound is train moving through the Highlands.
"I'm looking foward to it aswell I'm first in the family to go well besides my parents I have a younger sister who will be going in the next few years, how about you you the first in the family? Have any sibling?" Stephen says with a smile.
"I can't wait to see the first quiditch match , how about you? , ooh what class are you looking foward too" Stephen asks as he was rambling on getting exited and trying to make his first friend.
He had been a loner since is early school yeats always found it difficult to make friends.
He could talk away but making friends was something he always seemed to find hard.
"Sorry I'm rabling a bit I'm just very excited I can't wait to cross the lake and get sorted I mean kinda nervous aswell to be honest" Stephen says his Irish accent showing more by each word.
"I can't wait for defence against dark arts , I hope the professor is good"

She listened to the boy carefully and answered :
"I'm an only child. my mom's a muggle and I don't think she had much family. We don't maintain contact with my dad's family, they're really obsessed with maintaining the pureblood. From what I remember, on my father's side, I have an aunt, I just don't know if I actually have cousins, so i guess I'm the first."
She listened to the boy talk a bit more, Violet noticed Stephen was fast-paced in the way of speaking, and he clearly looked quite nervous
"Oh, you're not rambling at all! I don't really follow quidditch, but I'm sure it's fun. I really like History so I think that'll probably be my favourite subject." she says warmly, trying to assure him he's not talking too much.
She looked outside, there was nothing but terrain. It was a nice view, and they were clearly very distant from the Station already. Violet looked away, and attempted to sound friendly.
"We should talk when school starts. Even if we're not in the same House, I think it'll probably be hard to make friends in such a big school. And you're the first person I talked to."
She paused, waiting for his reaction, and looked at the door, that had students pass by with their books and their friends.
She wondered if they were all as lost as she was, but clearly not, the only sounds outside of their compartment were laughter, conversations, and the steam engine working furiously to take them to their destination.
New adventure
Stephen smiles warmly at the girl as he briefly looked at the view of Highland.
"Ya definitely I find it hard to make friends so I'd be glad to have someone to talk to around the school" Stephen says with a warm smile.
"History? Really fair enough I can't wait to dig into it a learn all the spells in charms defence against the dark arts and transfiguration, although I'm looking foward to potions aswell" Stephen says with a smile.
"Ya I hope one day to make the quidditch team for my house I personally want to play chaser I think that would be so cool" Stephen says with a smile.
"You nervous about being away from your family" Stephen asks with a curious look.
"I am maybe a bit though getting away from my sister a bit might not be too bad she was desperate to come on the train with me , who wouldn't though I suppose the thought of going to hogwarts still feels like a dream to me" Stephen says with a light heatted chuckle as he leans back in his seat.
"How did you find getting your wand ...I found it class I was so exited I could barely stand still, I've been to diagon alley a few times but this time was different because I was heading to hogwarts" Stephen says with a small smile.
"I can't still hardly belive it"

New adventure

Violet listened to Stephen talk about all sorts of things.
"Yeah no one is even interested in history, but it's pretty fascinating, honestly. Without it we wouldn't have anything like we do now, ya know?"
"I wouldn't say I won't miss my parents, but it's not as if I'll cry every night thinking about them. It's a new beggining you know?"
She paused, catching her breath.
"I'm sure you'll be able to get in your Quidditch Team, Quidditch is a bit brutal, especially with beaters, they make the game harder for everyone else, in general. I know the rules but I only watched one Quidditch game."
Violet looked away for some moments, thinking about the times she went to Diagon Alley.
"I live in Yorkshire, so i've gone to Diagon Alley sometimes, by train."
Violet put her messengers bag (which had been standing next to her on another bench since sh arrived) and opened it, taking her wand out.
"It took so long to find my wand, nothing worked. From what my dad told me, my wand was a combination of different things. It really is weird, the core is troll hair, so I probably won't be able to do complex spells because it's unprecise and unstable, but then, it's chestnut wood so basically it takes its owner's personality. So basically no one really knows what will happen, whether I'll be good at doing spells, or not."
Violet lowers her head and looks at her wand and the floorboard, wondering if she'll actually manage to do intriguing spells, or if she has to maintain herself with weak and unimportant spells.
"I think it'll be nice to meet new people and stuff like that, y'know?"
She'd look out the window once again, admiring the view of Scotland Highlands, while fidgeting with her messenger bag.
New adventure
Stephen smiles Contently as he listen to her speak.
"Fair enough that's actually a good point" Stephen says with a little chuckles as he figits with his hands
gazing out upon the Scottish skyline.
"Ya I've just always dreamed of playing quiditch chaser I want but who knows maybe I'll excell in another position probably will have to wait until second year to try out anyways".
"Ya I was the same it felt as If the wand would never chose me but when it did I felt light honestly felt like I was floating silly right?" Stephen says with a chuckle.
"Ya I'm from Ireland we live in the country of a small town called bandon we have a huge magic items they are enchanted so muggles ask no questions I've been to Diagon alley a few times usually travel to London via floo powder then from their to Diagon alley" Stephen says smiling.
"It's sureal when you see it first isn't it" Stephen says.
Stephen sees her glance at her wand as if she's nervous "Hey don't worry I'm sure you'll be one of the best witches in our year think off all the other greats who started exactly where we are filius Flitwick albus dumbledore Harry potter and more You'll be fine" Stephen says before adding to cheer her up "I know these things I guarantee you'll be a fine witch maybe even better than some of the ones I've mentioned" Stephen says with a smile followed by cheeky wink.

New adventure

Violet listens as Stephen tells her about quidditch and his hometown. She thinks about how most of the people already have planned out what they want to do, and have actual, specific dreams about their future.
She brushed off the melancholic thoughts as Stephen started talking about his hometown and Diagon Alley
"You do have the Irish accent. I don't remember the first time I went there to be honest, it felt like I just woke up and was used to it somehow." she'd reply.
She catched her breath, pausing for a moment. Stephen started speaking talking about important wizards. He did had some inspirational phrases, not that Violet needed them that much. Just some motivation on her abilities.
"I don't need to be a great witch, I really just want to make sure I'll actually do spells. I mean, I did receive the letter after all."
She gazed at the window's green scenery. Violet never went to the Scotland. The Highlands seemed majestic somehow. Everything was new to her. She really needed to get used to the thought of being so far away from muggle lands.
"Hogwarts really does seem so interesting. I really hope I'll get to do anything besides just standing around practicing spells" She paused, and then murmured "And then getting them wrong..."
