Quinn nervously pulled at a strand of her hair as she looked around the crowded airport. The plane ride had felt too long and too short at the same time. She already missed her best friend Ophelia whom she rode the train home with. But she was excited to see her family.
"Quinn stop being so nervous and grab your trunk!" An annoying whine near her said. Her younger brother Sean who also went to Hogwarts pointed to her trunk which had just appeared. Quinn rolled her eyes and quickly grabbed it. As they walked towards the meet place for her family she grinned as she recognized some curly hair in the crowd.
"Declan!" She shouted as she ran over to him. He turned, his smile broad
"Quinn!" They hugged and Quinn grinned. I haven't seen him in so long! she thought. Her boyfriend squeezed her hand as the drew apart and gave her a little look.
"How have you been?" He asked. She shrugged, unable to stop smiling. Her response was drowned out by the squeals of another familiar voice.
"QUINN" her older sister yelled, basically pushing Declan out of the way to reach her sister. Quinn happily embraced her.
"How's homeschooling?" Quinn asked, as her sister, Maeve, was homeschooled. Maeve shrugged,
"Same as ever." Maeve then spotted the youngest of the siblings and went to go interrogate Sean on how his school year was.
As the family plus Declan drove towards home Quinn leaned her head against the cool window and watched her familiar city go by. It was good to be back home.
