Newsletter Summer Camp 2026

The first week of camp has started and students from all schools are slowly arriving. With their arrival, they were sorted into a Department of the British Ministry of Magic, that determined their cabin and place in the Ministry for the summer. After finding their cabins, Students were invited to join a prestigious welcoming feast with a menu that included sophisticated, perhaps unusual dishes. Some of examples were the Roasted Beetroot Carpaccio with Candied Walnuts, the Braised Venison with Juniper Sauce, the Floating Sugar Feathers or the Elderflower & Moondew Fizz. To make connections between the Departments and encourage interaction, prompts and questions were placed on several tables or simply appeared next to unknowing students.

However, as the first actual week of Summer Camp rolls in, the now official Ministry workers and officials will find that something is going wrong in this camp. Strange letters have been delivered to seemingly random individuals, written in a way that disallows anyone to read what is said. But what is even stranger, is that no one has even seen an owl ever since they’ve arrived; the letters simply seem to be floating down from the sky or appear within personal belongings. There is no sender, no date, no recipient specified, just a deep black wax seal.

Reflective and sparkly objects have been reported missing and those who have arrived with portkeys experienced malfunctions such as the portkey taking off several minutes later than it was supposed to, or taking longer than usual. What is yet to come during camp is hidden from the campers for now.
