A not-so-forced talk Ft. Tina Carille

I just nodded, mesmerized, while she spoke. Tina would be, probably, the closest I'd be from living a theater life. But it seemed so fun... well, maybe not the part of the fans and, you know, having to socialize with them, but everything else... it was like a dream I'd never come true.

But she did, which is great. At least one of us pursued her dream.

I froze when she asked it. How was my life before this? How could I tell her? Tina's smart, she probably noticed about my condition already. How to tell her that, unlike hers, my childhood had been filled with doctors and exams and people telling me what I was going to be?

No. She was a Saint. She didn't need me to tell her all of that. Good thing it started raining, I avoided the question like an expert. I sat next to her in the cabin, laughing with my hair wet.

"Uhh... well, technically, yes." I said, cautious with my words as I could. Not that she remembers, though, that was years ago... I only remember it because A. Sadly, I have a great memory and B. It was a very important event for me.

"You..." I cleared my throat, awkward again. Why do I have to make everything awkward? "You signed a poster for me one night at the West End. It was years ago." I said, fast and low, as if I didn't want her to hear me. I did not, in fact, want her to hear me. Wow, the floor seemed very interesting now.
