House Cup August 2026

Gryffindor was not to be denied this month. Breaking Slytherin’s four-time streak, Gryffindor roared away with 1469 points in August to win the House Cup. Imagine all of the homework that must have been done! Hufflepuff worked hard to try to capture the win with 1190 points. Ravenclaw followed with 917 points, and Slytherin was not too far behind with 668 points.

The top six earners for the month of August will be given the chance to participate in the Autumn Ball planning committee. All students of the winning house who have earned their house a minimum of 6 house points will receive 102 chocolate frogs. Those who qualify for both will get to organise the ball and get 102 frogs.

It will not come as a surprise that it was a close battle, but Miss @Meyra Lancaster won top spot with 189 points, while Miss @Amanda Clarke followed with a very close 188 points. Not to be outdone, Mr. @Robin Lockett takes third place with 187 points. They were a determined bunch! Congratulations to our top earners of August!

With the rewards for the top earners for August, being the opportunity to work on this year's Autumn Ball, we would also like to congratulate our fellow earners: Miss @Avery Gray (180 points), Mr. @Philip Rosser (180 points), and Mr. @Maximilianus Kenneally Vidler (178 points) for earning 4th, 5th, and 6th place. We hope they all enjoy the opportunity to organize such a fun school event!

Next month, the top three earners of September will receive a broom of their choice. All students of the winning house who have earned their house a minimum of 6 house points will be given 10 Galleons. (Those who qualify for both will get both a broom of their choice and 10 Galleons).
