Clouds overcasted the immense skies as it was painted in grey. It was bitter, the icy mistrals came brushing past her pale striken face. Oh it was definitely lovely for her skin. Sensitive as it is and prone to harsh burns. Her eyes flickered into the distance. Only making out a few students who were with their own unit of friends. Angel preferred solitude sometimes.

If it wasn't for her attendance at Hogwarts she would've continued being in her normal school. Always being the talkative one. Until this time she would always want to commence a conversation to converse in. It was always easy for Angel. But time strikes when she can't find the right words to explain her feelings. Perhaps even her actions. It was not on impulse yet no words can help her with filling in the horrid blanks her mind has given her.

Back at Liersolt elementary, Angel would always fill her case with black pens and markers, sometimes her own paint sets. A brush or two. It was her own way to express herself. Although one could say she has never been really good at keeping herself at one school. Three times she transferred, by age ten she stayed at a private school for the time being. One can say that Hogwarts would probably be her forever school and education. The morning dews frosted against the silver plate.

Only then she starts her painting.

The cold wind swept through the gardens and slipped between the trees with the grace of an ancient visitor, stirring leaves, hair, and thoughts alike. It was precisely because of this wind that he saw her. At first, she was nothing more than a solitary figure sitting some distance away. Hogwarts was full of students who walked in groups, laughed in groups, and seemed incapable of remaining alone for more than ten minutes. Yet this girl stood apart, surrounded by a calm that seemed to belong to her. Not because he wanted to interrupt her, but because curiosity had always been stronger than her. Her grandfather used to say that people were like books placed on shelves. Some immediately showed their covers for all to read, while others remained closed, waiting for the right reader. From where she stood, Stelle watched as she carefully arranged her materials. There was something almost ceremonial about her movements. It wasn't the nervous haste of someone who had to finish a task, nor the usual distraction of students. She seemed more like someone preparing for an important conversation. Only this conversation would be with paper.

She liked that. Because she, too, understood that kind of language. Letters and painting had been a part of her life for as long as she could remember. She had learned early on that some emotions found easier paths through ink than through words. Perhaps that's why she immediately recognized that concentrated expression that appeared on the faces of those about to create something. The wind stirred some of her golden curls as she watched from afar. Then the girl began to paint. It wasn't a spectacular gesture. There were no magical flashes or anything extraordinary. And yet, Stelle felt that the entire landscape seemed to arrange itself around that moment. The brush descended onto the surface with the confidence of someone who knew exactly the path to follow.

It reminded her of swallows. Sometimes she saw them from the window of her grandparents' farm. Small creatures that seemed to know exactly where to go even when the sky was covered in clouds. Stelle smiled slightly. She had always admired people capable of turning feelings into something tangible. Some did it through songs. Others through words. This girl seemed to do it through colors. For a few moments she stood observing in silence, allowing the scene to exist uninterrupted. The air smelled of damp earth and grass freshly brushed by the wind. In the distance, she could hear the scattered voices of other students, but they seemed to belong to a different world. Finally, Stelle approached slowly. Not with the impulsive enthusiasm that sometimes characterized her, but with the caution of someone approaching a skittish animal in the woods. When she was close enough, she tilted her head slightly to contemplate the work that was beginning to take shape.

"I think the sky is a little jealous," she said softly, an amused smile playing on her lips. "It's been trying to get attention all morning, and yet you're the one creating something more interesting." The remark was made without malice, almost as if she were sharing a secret with the breeze itself. Then she was silent for a few seconds.

"Would you mind if I sit with you?"

"I think the sky is a little jealous!"

"It's been trying to get attention all morning, and yet you're the one creating something more interesting."

Following a short pause it entered the space

"Would you mind if I sit with you?"

The metaphor had rang and lingered in her ears for sometime and she could not help but chuckle just for a little while even. Angel pivoted her torso and now her gaze was directed at the presence to place whose voice it belong to and from there the slytherin could have a clear view of a girl — plausible she was the same age likewise but her features made a insurging contrast to her own as she carried obsidian she carried gold, whilst her eyes were scarlet the mysterious lass had diamond, a smidge taller than the maiden who was intrigued by her presence. Ghastly skin painted to both of the muses and a sense of allure but their difference was notable for the lass had a cryptic allure while the golden muse was much more soothing. The request would be validated and accepted. Badger and Snake.

"Please take a seat!" she said brightly as she patted the cemented fontaine who was welcoming towards the Hufflepuff

Now her assertiveness was channelled to the tiny sketchbook she always carried since she came here to Hogwarts, it was certainly important to her as she gripped it tightly. The graphite which was rarely used in the wizarding world for they used ink and quills, that was simply too tedious for the muggle raised maiden who couldn't wrap her head around it she simply could not — that is not to say she hadn't used quill, she uses quill like the rest of her peers just not as much.

"I do hope it is not too sudden for an introduction, but my name's Angel Dayes." she said informatively

She smiled naturally when the invitation arrived. She had expected a distrustful look, perhaps an awkward question, or even the usual silence that strangers received when they appeared unannounced. Instead, the girl had accepted her presence with an ease that she found pleasing. Stelle approached the fountain and sat down, leaving a small distance between them, though not so much as to turn the conversation into a kind of interview.

Her blue eyes scanned the young woman before her for a moment. There was something curious about the contrast between the two. Stelle, with her golden curls and the small pink highlights mingled within them, was used to attracting attention even unintentionally. The other girl possessed a different presence, more difficult to decipher, and perhaps that's why Stelle felt even more curious.

"Nice to meet you, Angel," she finally replied, accompanying her words with a smile. "I'm Stelle, Stelle Mims."

The name hung in the air for barely a second before Stelle tilted her head toward the notebook the other girl was holding. She couldn't help but notice it. She had learned long ago that the objects someone carried often revealed far more about them than any formal introduction.

"Do you draw a lot?" she asked, pointing at it with a slight tilt of her chin. "Because if so, I think we've just discovered something we have in common." Stelle had been drawing almost out of habit for some time. Her mother had taught her that it wasn't always necessary to be able to explain something to preserve it; sometimes it was enough to put it down on paper. Since then, anything could be a reason to get out her art supplies. So naturally, she settled her bag on her lap to take out her notebook and pencils, careful not to invade the Slytherin's personal space.

"My favorite are watercolors, but they're difficult to carry around to school. I wouldn't want to get all my things wet," she said with a soft laugh. Her curiosity escaped her even when she tried to keep it under control. It was one of those few things Stelle hadn't learned to control, probably because she wasn't sure she wanted to. Then she remembered that she was the one who had interrupted Angel's moment of peace.

"I hope I haven't distracted you too much, especially if I keep doing this. I can stop talking if you want," she said, looking back at the drawing and smiling, this time with a slightly amused glint in her eye, and tucking one of her curls behind her ear. Of course, Stelle knew she probably wouldn't keep that promise for very long. There was something about that girl and that little notebook that made her think there were still many things left to discover.
