───────────────────────────────────────────────────────Henry let out a sigh of relief, honestly, when Fawkes managed to break out early. Incapacitating his friend and causing her unintentional pain was not his favorite experience. Ranked pretty low in terms of his tier list of experiences. In fact, he would hasten to say he even kinda hated it. He knew the entire point of the damn sport was to knock each other out, but... when even he'd failed to account for the fact that the spell he had cast to hurt his friend, it hit different; a stomach-twisting variety of DifferentTM, to be specific.
If Henry had thought the blanket of fog obscuring his vision would help him combat his mixed - largely negative - feelings on the situation, he was wrong. But at least he saw movement vaguely gesticulating in the mist, so, maybe she wouldn't be all that mad. He sighed and squared his shoulders as he raised his wand towards the hopefully especially forgiving silhouette of a Ravenclaw. Whatever, he could apologize later... she lived for dueling, in amongst her other obsessions like astronomy and not getting drowned or set on fire or attacked by spiders or the countless other traumatic situations she had doubtlessly found herself in. She wouldd definitely still be chill after this. Right?─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

It was honestly annoying, trying to get out of the curse while her opponent was free to cast more spells at her. She groaned and stood up from the ground, brushing the dirt off her. This was getting ridiculous now. She had yet to land a hit on the hufflepuff and it was starting to annoy her. No matter. There was still time.
Just then her vision was clouded by a thick fog. Nebulus really? She called out exasperated. The fog was a double edged sword. On one hand, it hindered your opponent's ability to see and hence made it easier to dodge hits from them but on the other hand it also made it harder for you to see your opponent hence it was also harder to hit them. Fawkes luckily had a plan. She just needed to figure out how to enact it with this stupid fog.
She sighed and raised her wand once more. Fawkes squinted, trying to make out Henry's figure in the darkness. She was going to have to aim really well in order to hit him now. She was sure he could make out where she was so she had to be careful now.
