Elara tilted her head slightly as she thought about her answer. “I don't think that's weird,” she said. “It sounds useful.” She liked the idea of passing the clock down to someone else too. “And you could keep it for years. I think I'd like that.” Bella’s question made her think. She had never really considered what enchanted object she would want. She looked at the decorations on the table for a moment before answering. “Maybe an enchanted bag,” she said. “One with more space inside than it looks like it has.” She smiled a little. “I could carry more things without having to worry about making it too heavy.”

She thought about what she would put inside. Books would probably be the first thing. She was always bringing books with her, and sometimes there wasn't enough room for everything she wanted to take. “Clothes too,” she added. “Especially if I was going somewhere for a few days.” Elara looked down at her hands on the table. She had gotten used to choosing what to leave behind whenever her bag was already full. It would be nice not to have to make that choice every time. She looked back at Bella. “I think that's what I'd pick.” She gave a small shrug. “I can't really think of anything else.” The idea seemed simple enough, but Elara liked it. She wouldn't have to worry as much about how much she could fit inside.
