I did most of my head purple once for an Uzi-ish cosplay. I’ve never dyed my hair. 
My mom made the good point to me to not do it until I have to. lol (basically meaning don’t dye my hair until the gray comes in someday because it saves money I can use for other stuff. This is my personal experience and nothing against anyone that dyes their hair for fun! I think it always looks great!)
