Physical Description:

Ashley has long dark brown curly hair that reaches to the center of her back. Her eyes are a bright, piercing green colour. Her round face has a few faint freckles, and her skin is warm bronze. Her height is 4'9".

Mental Description:

Ashley can sometimes be quiet, because most of her focus is always on watching the room for important or hidden detail, as well as analyzing people’s reactions instead of talking. Ashley is kind and would never want to hurt anyone, while also wanting people to think well of her. She is sensitive and often worries about what people think of her. Because of this, she can understand what people are thinking, but sometimes gets it wrong. In a way, she’s also a people pleaser. But she also feels like she has to be better than other people in every way, and focuses on her projects and grades because of that. She has a fear of not being able to control her choices and actions in life. Without realising it, Ashley also does things more for her own sake than for others. She’s confident, but she’s really just faking it to the point of believing it.

Character Backstory:

Ashley grew up in a house where much was expected of her. Specifically, she was expected to get a specific house at school and act a specific way. The Stone family was supposed to be perfect.

Ashley’s mom, Grace Stone, was the main enforcer of that rule. She was always trying to control Ashley’s creative and chaotic side, which some could conclude was a good thing. But it wasn’t for Ashley. Her dad, Ethan Stone, always just agreed with her mother. As Hogwarts got closer, however, Ashley started to notice something strange in the patterns.

Grace really did just want Ashley to be who she was. She loved her daughter and didn’t care which house Ashley ended up in. But her dad was the opposite. He had always seemed like he didn’t care, but now, he was always reminding her which house she had to be in, despite it already being a known fact in her family. Ashley is still in the process of figuring out the entire situation.

Ashley’s siblings, Isabella and Wyatt, are basically opposites. Isabella is perfect, always knowing what to say, and acting like a princess above the rest of them. She is going into her fifth year at Hogwarts. Meanwhile, Wyatt, her brother, is going into third year. He is quiet, spending most of his time in his room alone and reading. He is incredibly awkward, and prefers being away from people. Both are in Hufflepuff, although Ashley is aware that Isabella almost was put in Slytherin.

First Instance of Magic:

At the age of seven, Ashley was flipping through a textbook that her parents wanted her to read and getting frustrated as she couldn’t find the right page. She often had to spend hours reading to please them, and it was getting late into the night. Angry due to the situation, she slammed her fist down onto the desk the book was sitting on. Then, suddenly, the pages started moving to the page she needed without her touching them.
