Restroom Rendezvous

• Calvin finds out about the existence of the Abandoned Toilets. As any boy would, he decides to investigate the area during his free time. Perhaps your character had a similar idea, or maybe they frequent the Abandoned Toilets because they're, well, abandoned, and you need some time alone. Either way, Calvin ends up finding you, or you end up finding Calvin. The oddly timed encounter blossoms into a painfully awkward conversation, but maybe the two end up friends because of it? Details can be hashed out in DMs! This thread can happen any time during the year.

Show Me The Ropes

• For this thread, I'm looking for anyone whose character is either 1) on a Quidditch team or 2) knows an awful lot about the sport. Calvin is a sporty guy, but since he's a Muggle-born (and admittedly a bit slow on the uptake) he hasn't really managed to figure out Quidditch yet. Someday, he wants to be on the Ravenclaw team, but his confidence is a bit muted since he has very little information about the sport. Ideally, this thread would happen early in the year, maybe on the Grounds? I could imagine maybe a game just ended, and your character noticed Calvin trying to scrawl down notes and following the sport with a bewildered expression on his face. Or, maybe, he had been watching a practice, trying to work up the nerve to ask one of the players about their craft? Details can totally be hashed out in DMs!

Clumsy Caster

• As hard as Calvin tries, the whole magic thing isn't something that comes easy to him. Maybe, while practicing spells in a class, one of his classmates (that'd be you!) notices his struggles. Your character can either tease Calvin for his lack of wizarding knowledge, or maybe instead they try to help? This is something that can happen any time during the year... This boy is going to be struggling with it basically all the time

Some Time Alone

• Calvin is very fond of going out to the Great Lake to get some time alone. This thread can go one of two ways. 1) Your character has the same idea, and Calvin bumps into them in the midst of a bit of thought. As a boisterous sort, he of course immediately introduces himself. 2) Calvin's mood has been soured in recent days by homesickness, etc. Your character encounters him, and the two talk a bit. Calvin's not exactly the type to be secretive, so your character doesn't have to be the prodding type to get him to share, no worries

What Are YOU Doing Awake?!

• This thread will have to be with a Ravenclaw boy, since it'll be in the dorm! Basically, Cal isn't really the type to be up late, studying or anything of the sort. Despite his sorting, he's not that type of an academic. So when Calvin wakes up in the middle of the night, and sees your character awake, he is bewildered and shocked! He sneaks over and, so as to not wake anyone, starts a whisper conversation asking plenty of questions.

Accidental Torment

• Calvin walks into the library to get some studying done, and notices your character hard at work. Maybe your character has an unnatural hair color, or maybe they have some other sort of superficial oddity about them, but the Ravenclaw boy is relentless in his interrogation. Or, maybe Calvin saw your character doing something "peculiar" in some way, and as the socially inept boy he is, he just continues to pester your character. Maybe he caught you crying after a rather emotional owl you received from your family, and his curiosity and good heart is just... Infuriating to you! It's not a malicious sort of torment, he's just a bit slow on the uptake when it comes to emotional matters. This thread can continue in multiple different ways depending on your own character, and I have a few ideas myself! Owl me to hash out the details, as with most of these threads
