Once again, Anatole had found himself wandering around the strange, new grounds. He felt miniature compared to the large, eloquent buildings and compared to other people in older years. In his dark cloaks, he clutched his wand, maintaining his bold courage. It felt nice and strange.

Up ahead in the distance, Anatole saw the group of students. None of them looked familiar, however. They, like him, might have been new.

Not considering how they could turn out (the obnoxious type or the unlikely friendly type, or possibly an archetype), he began to dash toward them, his hands buried under his cloak, holding it tight so he wouldn't trip. Part of him was scarred from that. Maybe, just maybe, they wouldn't remember his first impression.

The grass felt wet and moist against his feet as he approached them. Breathless, the small boy entered the crowd. "Oh...um, hi," he commented with a wide grin. "Sorry to interrupt, but I was...er..." He was trying to come up with some excuse rather than 'Oh, I saw a group of people off in the wilderness and thought it would be cool to jump into their conversation'. "I was drawn in by the cat," Anatole mentioned, pushing his hand through his bangs as he jumped into the discussion.

"You've got a therapy- damn that's cool!" His face lit up at the sight of 'Charles', Rowara's pet. "Hey Rowara, already said I'm Evan, but I'm Evan!" Evan's energetic self expressed itself, "Yeah. I have a pet. They're a dog though. Have to stay at home while I'm all over the magical world." He sighed, honestly fairly disappointed. "Called Jerry, dunno why. Got him when I was five, he was like my best friend. That's why I'm all energetic and all. I play with him way too often." He laughed, "Kinda sad he can't come over here tho, love him, scares off all the cats though." Evan soon realized he was honestly just saying... words at this point. He stopped, looking around as if seeing who noticed, before realizing it was only Rowara and maybe the other girl that was there.

Before he could say much more, Antole got his attention. "Hey, dude. I'm Evan, she's Rowara. Just some chat. How are ya?" He laughed at himself for whatever reason, smiling at the boy who had just arrived. "Wilderness? Cat? Wish those were excuses I could use on a daily basis, seem almost realistic." He chuckled, again. "What house are you in? Both of you?" He realized it was a question that was eligible to be asked earlier, but decided to make up for it by asking now.

"Oh, you're the boy I saw at the library right?" Rosie turned turned to Evan with a smile. "Hi! I was just introducing myself to this girl." She gestured towards her. "I'm sure she wouldn't mind someone else joining our conversation! We should probably all get to know each other, anyway." She nudged Evan with her elbow. "Right?" She asked, a grin on her face.

Rosie had seen Evan before at the library, it was her first time there and he had made the silence disappear when he approached her. The library was gorgeous to Rosie, it held so many books and so many different opportunities. It held a nice place to study as well.

When Rosie had visited the library, to be honest she was immediately shocked. The biggest space she got to read back at home was her room, but here it seemed like the place was as big as a football field. She had excitedly ventured down the aisles upon aisles but eventually had settled down at a table to read some of the books she was required to buy. It was interesting, how different the books were from each other. One was just about the history of magic, while the other was about potions. There were so many different opportunities to learn about different topics.

Marissa was shyly standing by the door, all of these new people was a bit intimidating for her. Especially a huge group like the one that formed in front of her. She found it nice that her sister was already getting along with others. She looked at the entrance, daydreaming about all of the plants around her as she waited for all of the others to introduce themselves and socialise.

She shivered slightly, the cold winds entering the greenhouse for a moment. She looked over worryingly to Claryssa who looked like she was having the time of her life. Sometimes Marissa would get jealous of her, how she could easily talk to people. Mari wished she could do it, but she could not muster a word. She sighed, knowing the fact she would just embarrass her sister and herself if she tried to talk. So she just stood there and daydreamed, wondering what else she could possibly do at this enormous castle.

When Marissa found out she was a wizard, she was a bit hesitant at first. How could it be possible that she of all people possessed these special abilities? I guess it was out of pure luck, but she knew Claryssa was excited. Their parents were over the moon when they found out, but also worried at the same time.

"Yeah, sure!" Evan nodded, smiling. "And yeah I'm the dude from the library, I suppose. Got a Charms book, in my trunk now." He looked around as if checking where the safely placed book was, before realizing it really was in his trunk and he was not a dirty liar. A brief 'ha' left his mouth as he realized this, and forgot why he got curious in the first place. "What houses are you in?" He asked again. He had asked before with no answer, but it was a question that intrigued him. You learn a lot of things about someone by knowing what house the sorting hat decided to sort them into, but Evan was aware of stereotypes, and that they were not relevant. People were people, and a house didn't create them as a person.

He saw Marissa for a moment and gave her a look as to say, 'Come on'. He turned back to the others he was talking to before, "Personally, I'm a Gryffindor. I like all houses though!" He added quickly, desperately trying to avoid the curse known as stereotypes. All he knew right now were that all houses were equal. He was brought up to think of it like that.

"Oh uh I'm a Hufflepuff. So glad I got that house. I read about the houses in Hogwarts, a History and knew that was the house for me. The hat didn't seem to think anywhere else either so that's good." She then looked at the cat and at Evan. "Oh Jerry and my cat would probably get along. He likes dogs. Any animal really. Hey, come here Charlie. I want to introduce you to everyone." Charlie chirruped and walked over to his human, heart and other brindle spots glistening many colours in the sun as he walked by a window where the beams shown through. His white fur brightened all the more as the rays hit his slinking body, tail straight up in the air.

"Charlie, this is Evans and Rosie and everyone this is Charles. i call him Charlie though. He doesn't mind. Sometimes I can hear him in my head. Like some wizards can turn into animals, I read a lot cause the wizarding world fascinates me, and some to some animals... Me it's just him. Well him and my sister's cat William. He's white with blue eyes and deaf. But we learned sign just for him and I can hear him in my head sometimes. Voice sounds like a lisp because he has never heard himself before so it's hard to understand so we usually just sign." Rowara noticed she was starting to ramble on about pets again. "Sorry. I can talk about animals all day... wait did I say that already?"

"Oh, hey," Anatole remarked to everyone else, waving. "Anatole Evans, Gryffindor." He held up a hand for a five, hoping that Evan would answer.

He looked around at the wet, almost molten ground. Part of him wishes he didn't jump into conversation, but even the hat said his social skills were better than average. "Just got here, and uh... accidentally tripped when I was going up toward the stage. It's pretty embarrassing and definitely not the first impression, such as now, but I haven't chosen to care."

He brushed back his hair once more, his tan skin almost shining. "As for Gryffindor, I really should have been like you, Rowara, isn't it?" He motioned to her, waving to the cat almost like it was one smooth, fluid motion. He wished he could pet it; it appeared soft and fluffy. "I should've been like you and read up on my history. I never really did that and now I feel somewhat unprepared." He chuckled. Anatole had not encountered puberty yet, so his voice was light and airy. It sounded almost like a song, but not a weird song no one would like, maybe like an old folk tune someone had sang long ago. Anatole laughed again. "Well, here I am, a budding lion, eh?"

Rosie grinned, her fists clenched a bit as she looked at the two who had just introduced themselves. It wasn't anger, it was excitement! "Oh! You're Hufflepuff? Me too!" She laughed. "I didn't even know, silly me." She ran a hand through her hair and turned to the new boy who had approached them. "Hi! I'm Rosie," she held her hand out to Anatole, smiling, "pleased to meet you! I hope we can become close." Rosie babbled on.

Rose really didn't mean to be this hyper, but she couldn't help it! She was an extrovert! Social interaction hyped her up, it energized her. She just liked talking. Rosie started shifting to foot to foot again as they all gathered around, excited that she was able to grab an opportunity to talk to multiple people.

Just a tiny bit, just the slightest bit, the crowd intimidated Rosie. She had gone from being alone with Clary, or Evan, or talking to people in the Hufflepuff common area to a class full of different people from the other houses. She still wondered about the Slytherin. Were they scary as she thought? It’s not like she’d avoid them, but every time the.. Hat, described a person alligned with Slytherin, it was something... intimidating.

Anatole answered her handshake, somehow as polite as a noble, maybe even a prince. It was something he had always grown from hanging around his nanny, with different values than his parents. "Pleasure is all yours. I hope we can grow close as well!"

His eyes drew around to where they were. Once again, he was too caught up in conversation to notice that beauty around him. Flowers, plants, trees, and more sprouted. Beside him grew types he never knew existed. He supposed it was all in excitement to meet people. How else could he forget it?

Looking at her excited, tense, red balled-up fists, Anatole began to scan the rest of her. She isn't so bad, Anatole considered, in fact, she might be more pleasant than some of the people here. At least she isn't mean! Then, his stupid mind ran off, thinking that Hufflepuff might have not contained some of the students who chuckled at his mishap in the Main Hall. Well, it couldn't have been Gryffindor either.
The girl's excitement was almost contagious, and when he replied, he sounded overly jovial. It was something he never seemed to do. "Can't wait to get to know you all either!"

Rosie smiled, an almost friendly aura surrounded her. At least that's how her grandma described it. She kept on a bright grin as she firmly shook Anatole's hand. "I'm sure we will, considering your first approach with me!" She commented, turning to the group again. Rosie's hair fell into her face a bit because she turned her head so suddenly, so she giggled and blew it out of her face, putting her hands on her hips to face the rest of the kids that had joined her in Herbology. Some where new faces, a few weren't. But none the less, she was excited to meet the other people she hadn't yet!

"We should do like, I dunno. A quick go around. So we all know each other's names for future reference, yeah?" She clapped her hands together, flashing a toothy grin. Rosie rose on her heels and got a good look of everyone, she was trying to relax a bit. She really, really, didn't wanna scare anyone off. Rosie rested her hands down, they were tiny and seemed to be shaking a bit. It was evident Rosie had hyped herself up a bit, but she was nervous more than anything.
