Josh didn't actually think before what he did next; a brave attempt to shield Natasha against their opponent's spells with his own body. Honestly he shocked himself when he moved forward ready to take the impact of whatever was coming their way. He unfortunately just made himself look stupid rather than brave. How could someone fail so miserably at actually trying to get hit by a spell? Natasha seemed to be much more aware and conscious as she managed to evade the Blindfolding Spell Siobhan cast towards her, the same spell he tried to willingly take the force of. The embarrassment he felt was unreal, his pale skin became a very light shade of red. He actually thought he could be good enough to be a duellist for Ravenclaw eventually, maybe even a champion duellist when he was older. How could he if he kept messing up so badly and making a fool of himself? Natasha also managed to cast the Tickling Charm, she was aiming for Siobhan but their other opponent Remy successfully shielded his ally and took the force of the spell himself. Of course this didn't help, it only made him feel worse that he attempted to do the same thing Josh tried to do, and he actually did his job right. Natasha didn't even hesitate when she began trash talking Remy the previous round. Clearly she wasn't afraid of potentially getting crushed by him - literally, because he probably could do that with his bare hands. Josh could just nervously chuckle. I'd kill to have an invisibility potion right now... he thought to himself. Well, he signed up for this, he had to face his embarrassment and fear and finish off this duel with honor and dignity, and who knows, maybe there was still a chance that they could win.

Natasha raised an eyebrow at Josh as he seemingly tried to leap in front of her, mimicking Remy's actions in the previous round. Perhaps Natasha would have been more grateful if Josh had accidentally succeeded, but as far as she could tell, the only thing her partner had managed to save was the wall. Fortunately, she was quicker on her feet this time, and managed to dodge the spell Siobhan threw at her.
She cast her own spell at Siobhan, groaning as she saw Remy leaping towards Siobhan, with much better aim. The older girl was safe from Natasha's Rictumsempra, but Remy wasn't quite as evasive, and his heroics had lead to him being hit instead. She counted that as a success.
She smirked condescendingly at his eloquent comment about Siobhan's arm, and adding fuel to the fire, said "Of course Remy, You block arm, arm safe."
Then turning towards Josh, she flashed a bright smile, saying "The wall appreciates your service Josh" her voice teasing.
Satisfied with the trash talk she had made, for she was still slightly hesitant to trash talk Siobhan due to her age, she turned her attention solely on her opponents, her wand up, ready to cast.
