I thought I’d share my piece of advice even though I should be asleep rn. lol

Like Diana said, don’t rush the beginning. I know it’s hard when you want to get to the part you’re most excited to write, but you first have to get through the beginning. (Believe me. I’ve experienced that many times when it comes to writing my book.) Though my piece of advice is treat everything as if it is important in the story. Instead of rushing through, add small details like the scent of something or a sound heard. Those small things may not seem like much, but they give a story a more real tone and help the reader connect more with your story.
